The cats had figured out how to pull the pantry doors open and that was a problem that needed a solution. They'd get in there and knock things down and make a mess. I had to use a wooden shim (actually cut from a paint stirrer and painted white) to bring these out from the doors to be even with the trim, but that wasn't hard. Getting the two parts lined up is the only tricky part, but not hard to figure out a solution to. They work much better and easier to use with a cord to pull on. It gives more leverage and you don't have to reach to the top of the door and pull with your finger. I used some curtain ties that worked perfectly as you can see in the photos.These worked so well the I removed the spring ball assembly that held the doors shut. They weren't needed and the doors open with just a tug on the cord and lock when closed, so it only takes one hand to open the door instead of one to open the latch and another to pull the door open.

After searching for a spring latch for my toddler’s fold down crib gate, I finally found this set of latches that worked perfectly to replace the cheap plastic ones that came with the crib. They were very easy to line up and install on the gate, and the ring pull back is very smooth and sturdy. I’m sure these will last much longer than what was originally on the gate, and I’m so happy to finally find something to fit the exact specifications for this type of crib gate.

These unique latches were exactly what I needed for reworking my sewing machine cabinet. The old machine broke and I wanted to use the cabinet for a new machine which was very different. Along with several other things I had to replace the folding panels to match the new machine which was a bit larger than the original. I needed these latches to lock it in the upright position. I used 2 of these latches, one on each side, and added a center pull strap to release both the latches simultaneously to allow the machine to be stowed down and closed when not in use. When I raise the sewing machine up the latches click into place and lock it into the upright position. I am very pleased with these latches.

Works great. Solid, strong metal with a powerful spring. Small and very effective. Would recommend as it holds Dutch door halves tightly together.

Put these on some drawers to keep the cats out a couple months ago. We use the drawers every day and these latches have been holding up good.

These are very nice.. I use them on my double doors to my living roomjust dont put both one same side of your door and lock yourself out...doh
