It' A Winner
I've been spraying paint for 60 years, these spray guns are a lot of bang for the buck, as good as many of the high priced spray guns I've owned. They lay down paint as good as any other professional gun for a fraction of the price, it's a winner. As advertised this LVLP spray gun when paired to a small compressors all the way down to 20 gallon capacity, it will do a fantastic job. I personally found it to do an excellent job shooting Acrylic Urethane, lacquer, single stage, base coat, clear coat, and primers. For the price of this AeroPro R500 A610, purchase three of them, so you don't have to change spray nozzles, set one up for primer, one for base coat/Acrylic Urethane/ Clear Coat, you'll still pay less than one expensive Devilbiss gun. Don't believe all the negative hype that these AeroPro R500 A610 LVLP spray guns are junk, mechanically they're excellent quality and mechanically sound. I read one review that contained a complaint that the pressure regulator lens is plastic, fact is that it works, second as any old timer knows who's a bit creative, either purchase one with a glass lens, or simply make a paper flap to protect it from over spray, easier yet, wipe the thing off. You purchased a great spray gun for a great price with accessories. As always, it's the guy squeezing the trigger that's important, that comes with experience and time. I've read a few negative complaints about the AEROPRO R500-610, it was obvious from the complaints they more than likely originated from inexperienced users. Complaints that the spray gun tip could not be removed, possibly cross threaded. The fact is this complaint is not all that uncommon, over the years I've found a few spray gun tips that were excessively tight, generally the tip is not cross threaded, just over tightened during assembly, with the proper tools, experience, and patience you can get the tip loose without damaging the spray gun. Leaking spray guns, generally, during my 60 plus years of spray painting, I've found that a leaking spray gun is due to over pressure, water getting into the air line, improper cleaning. A leaking spray gun is a common problem amongst professionals and amateur sprayers alike. It’s often caused by the fluid nozzle becoming loose or dried paint blocking the needle, another words, cleanliness is an absolute must with spray guns. A leaking spray gun can also be caused by a damaged needle packing, this falls back to improper cleaning/maintenance, over pressure, etc.. Paint sputtering: this usually means that your nozzle simply isn’t on tight enough, or that the spray gun wasn't cleaned properly. Spray gun painting, especially automotive spray painting is an art that must be learned over time, most of these problems are caused by "cockpit error, not the equipment, far too many are too quick to blame the equipment. Number one, use only the proper solvents when cleaning, the wrong cleaning solutions can damage, or turn your spray gun into a useless piece of junk. Update: I purchased a second AeroPro A610 so I could have one gun setup for primers, and one for base, and clear coat and I purchased a 5 piece nozzle set to handle all types of paint and primer types. My only con is that in general, all these spray guns seem to focus on how pretty they are and have a slippery finish, the handles should have a textured surface, it's like that Glock pistol you own, you don't want it slipping around in your hand so you have complete control. Anyway, the AEROPRO 500-A610 IS A Winner.

You won’t be disappointed
I was honestly impressed with this spray gun. I bought it for automotive clear coat work, and it exceeded my expectations. The atomization is excellent, the spray pattern is consistent, and it lays down clear extremely smooth with very little overspray. It’s comfortable to hold, easy to adjust, and cleans up without any hassle. For the price, I don’t think there’s a better value on the market. Whether you’re a DIY painter or a professional looking for a dependable budget gun, I highly recommend it. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

Excellent for a DIY person!
I bought this gun kit to replace the cheap HF guns I had been using. After looking up reviews on Google for the best budget-friendly spray gun, I came across this one. At first, I was hesitant to give it much thought despite the seemingly good reviews as I figured it was just another cheap gun. But, after some internal debating and a Prime Day sale back in July, I pulled the trigger (pun intended). I am really glad I did because as of today, this gun has been amazing for what it is. I am in no way a professional. If anything, I am learning as I go, with access to a long-time friend / professional in the business. To date, I have laid down self-etching primer and two different color single-stage urethane paints on my project truck. Despite my lack of skill, the gun has done a great job laying down what I've put through it. I have to say I really like this gun and the various air cap sets that came with it. It's very easy to disassemble for cleaning post-spray, the tool it came with is awesome, and it came with the adapter for the disposable cup system. The one caveat to my positive review is the pressure regulator that came with it... It is useless for anything under 25 psi. Most things I lay down with a much higher pressure, but believe it or not, the primer I've been using recommends 7-10 psi (but I still target 15-20), and the provided regulator just isn't up to the task. Fortunately, I have a pretty solid regulator from my old HF gun (I forget the brand of the regulator, but it is NOT a HF cheapy cheap). All-in-all, this gun is pretty stout and does a pretty solid job for the price point. I am actually considering getting another on that I can dedicate to just clear coat. I'll just have to get a better regulator. ;-) Pictures of the paint I've laid with THIS gun are included in this review.

Paint Gun is 5- stars.
This A-610 paint gun is a LVLP paint gun for automotive paint and the gun itself deserves 5+ stars. However, it is a packaged deal with an Oil/Water Separator and a pressure gauge. Unfortunately, the pressure gauge that I received was missing the screw cap for adjusting the gun pressure. I don't want to return the gun just because of a broken gauge but 1 don't want to spend $10.00 for a gauge that was received broken. These are the only options available thru Amazon. Thus, the reduction of Stars. Back to the gun itself- The fit and finish are excellent with the matt black coating makes it easy to clean. It has a very lightweight feel and is easy to hold and maneuver. Disassembly is easy to complete after the first time you remove the air nozzle (for some reason the factory is using a torque wrench to install them). Actually, this may be the easiest gun I have had to clean. It comes with all the tools and accessories necessary to clean the gun, the nozzles, the pin, and air caps. The 1.7 needle set was great for laying a smooth lay of primer/sealer straight out of the can. So far I have used the 1.3 nozzle/needle for a single-stage urethane, a base coat, and an epoxy. All laid down nicely. Now, keep in mind that this gun is an LVLP (low volume low pressure) gun and is completely different from the HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) system. If you are transitioning from the HVLP it will take a few tries to get the settings down. Low volume means that you need fewer CFMs of air to effectively operate the gun. The low pressure is a little confusing since I run this gun at a higher PSI than an HVLP gun. The reduced CFMs allow for the use of a smaller compressor, and reduced overspray. No matter how you slice it that is a $$$ savings. No matter what I will be keeping this gun ( or an Amazon Replacement). I just wish for the benefit of the seller that there was some way to get an adjustment cap and screw instead of returning the entire gun). This is the best entry-level level gun that I have purchased and comes close to some of the $250+ guns I have used.

well made, easy to keep clean, very easy to look like a pro with.
I'm not a pro painter, and this gun really changed the outcome. switched from rattle can to mixing three-part paint, thinner, hardener, and could not be happier. This gun really didn't take that much getting used to. You still need to do the good prep work, get everything ready to take paint, prime it, and then paint it. That said, good tools make a difference. This is a good spray, I'm glad I've got it! it sprays even coats, is easy to adjust coat thickness and 'dryness' on the fly with just a simple twist of control knobs. I run it with about 30-35 psi with an air dryer, and it does well with that for me. When done, it's easy to clean since it comes apart so well. I'll typically clean once with thinner than then fill the cup with clean thinner and spray that through, take it all apart again, dry everything off, and put it back in the box. sprayer is still like new.

Solid especially at this price point.
Very solid budget gun. Maybe not as nice as a CAT or other pro gun, but way better than its price tag. I also got the disposable cup kit, which is also a solid cheap way to get into spraying. I just need a bigger compressor with more CFM and a bigger tank. Wouldn’t need as big of a compressor as an HVLP gun since this needs closer to 4cfm instead of 8+CFM that HVLP guns need. Solid, lightweight, and easy to clean.

Best gun for small compressors
This world great at only 30psi. I have a small 3cfm compressor, and I can paint continuously. The pattern is great, and very adjustable. I am painting my chain link fence, and using exterior latex paint straight from the can!

Exceptionally Results!
A great spray gun for the price. Used the gun on a 1980 Camaro backyard garage restoration. Prepped the car with dry sand of 220, 320, and 400 grit. Used the 1.5 tip for the primer filler. Dry sanded with 600 grit. Used 1.3 tip for primer-sealer sanded with 600 grit wet and 800 grit wet. Used 1.3 tip for both jet black base and clear coat. I used a 20-gallon Porter & Cable air compressor with 25 PSI to the gun. Atomization was professional. The car turned out spectacular. Minimal, and I mean "minimal," orange peel on the clear coat. After a couple of weeks of curing, I wet sanded the entire clear coat with 1500, 2000, and 3000. The 2-foot by 2-foot section where I had some orange peel buffed out easily. Some polish and a wipe, and the car looks showroom. Friends think I had the car professionally done. Need to paint some more.

Great results in beginners hands
My first paint gun, but seems to work well and I’ve had decent results. I’m painting parts but the finish is great. Seems pretty easy to dismantle and clean which is very important. Overall I’m happy as a beginner.

Great spray gun for the price
The price is the stand out here, offering 3 sizes of spray nozzle, 1.3 , 1.5 & 1.7mm. I have used the 1.7mm for applying primer at 23psi and 1.3mm for base colour coat and the spray gun is exceptional at both. Great product, at a great price! Paint Society on YouTube a great source of info!
