they work great for starting sweet potato shoots

I followed the instruction to use these containers to grow Brocolli Sprouts. They molded and didn't sprout at all. I retried this several time, watched YouTube videos. Thought it was the fact I live in a very dark apartment with little sunlight. Nothing worked. I even tried using parchment paper to keep the seeds from falling through the holes so they could take root. they are sitting on a shelf and I purchased the Mason jars with the screen lid. Those worked perfectly. I don't recommend these!

Great trays for microgreens. The growing paper however is garbage. Don't waste your time with that. Roots barely penetrated it. Make sure the trays are on a VERY level surface when using them for hydroponics. The trays are sturdy and easy to clean.

The quality isn't the greatest. The lids don't fit onto the base correctly-they don't snap on all the way. The seed mix I purchased had instructions different than how these are designed to be used, so I didn't use the trays on my initial attempt. I am sprouting seed in stages so I have a continuous supply for my chickens. My next batch will be started using the middle tray. Something to note, is that a small supply of paper sheets are included, that are supposed to line the middle tray so that the seeds won't fall through the small holes. If your seed is very small and you need to use the paper sheets, you will need to replenish them. My seed mix is large enough that it wasn't a concern, but the instructions for my seed mix is cover with water, which is why I didn't use the middle tray

Product is exactly what I need and will get full usage.
