What is the best before date?

I bought mine a few months ago. and the date says June 2021. I have bought them repeatedly to store in my cupboard and they are always in date when I reach for them.

Does the barilla pasta sauce, basilico, tomato and basil pasta sauce, vegan have a sweet or bitter taste? is it like canned tomatoes?

Not at all like tinned tomatoes it has a sweeter flavour though not sweet. The basil is strong but not overpowering. All and all most pleasant and a light sauce in texture not heavy like so many other brands.

Tasty in a bolognese!

Our go to reliable for arrabiata sauce. Perfect combination of chilli and tomato. Reliable taste, good quality. Perfect in a lentil bolognese: Fry onions and red pepper both diced small. Tip into slow cooker with green/brown lentils, grated carrot, this sauce, passata, crushed garlic, salt pepper, sugar, sprinkle chilli flakes. Cook on high for 4 hours. Would recommend, good value especially when on offer.

You will not buy a better pasta sauce . Versatile a nice kick to it would pair well with spaghetti Bolognese or chilli. Very tasty full of flavour

Blandest Arrabbiata sauce - same as normal tomato sauce basically

I am big fan of Arrabbiata sauce - never without it at home. Tried this and it is very bland and just like normal tomato sauce - not even the slightest hint of the kick that Arrabbiata should have - disappointed.

Tasty but smashed

The actual arrabbiata sauce is lovely, bought a few times. However this time it was delivered smashed with bits of glass everywhere. Will probably give another chance and order again in the future
