Last for years! For the Price
We haved used these flashlights for years and was surprised to see they were still here, so bought them again. We have taken them in travels. great for hotels to see if power goes out, looking in our backpacks to find things, And even camping or just around the house.

A great flashlight
I Love these flashlights. They're rugged, put out a bright light, and the single AA battery seemingly lasts forever. I also like that they're small enough to carry around in a pocket if you need to.

Nice strong lights.
Small but strong lights. Indestructible cases. Light is adjustable. Only requires 1 AA battery. I would get again. Great to put in every room to grab if lights go out.

Small pocket light
As expected. For the price.

Cheap and bright.
These are great to throw into the car, a backpack, or drawer. they use 1 AA battery that lasts a decent length of time and is easily replaced. I've ordered several of these and have not been disappointed. Some buyers have stated they received non-working lights or lights that failed quickly but I haven't been plagued with that. They are cheap enough that when one finally does fail I'll toss it out and order some more.

Great little flashlight
Built well, durable and bright. Perfect for aviation work when you need to peek into the important places without fumbling around for a light. Clip is strong, push button solid and overall lightweight and tucks into a pocket or on your belt. Love these so much I have 4 in different places.

One of these lights was a great buy. Getting two of them was like Christmas!
I have another flashlight review on a larger model where I mentioned that I collect them in different sizes for different uses. This time, however, I went flashlight shopping with a particular goal in mind. I've been looking to mount a tactical light on my AR but didn't like the high prices for them. So, I thought why not create one?The first step was to find a way of mounting the flashlight to the rifle. After looking at various flashlight mounts that either attached to a Picatinny rail or an M-Lok handguard, I decided to get a Picatinny mount so that I could remove it for range time. I got the flashlight adapter, "Monstrum Tactical 1" Offset Picatinny Rail Mount for Flashlights," for $8.95 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JQNCMJO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1.Since the interior diameter of the flashlight ring that hold it is 1" in diameter, I needed to find a small but powerful flashlight having a body diameter of 1" or slightly larger.I found one called the "J5 Tactical V1-PRO Flashlight" whose body diameter was listed at 1.02" which meant it would fit. It also had 14,756 reviews which meant it was also extremely popular. The price at $13.95 seemed reasonable enough. But, before buying it, I decided to look around to see if there were any better deals on others that were similar and that's when I spotted the GearLight M3.I compared it to the J5 and the two looked identical. They almost had identical measurements as well: the GearLight is 4.25 x 1.00 x 1.00 inches while the J5 is 3.70 x 1.02 x 1.02 inches. They were also similarly-priced at under $14 so, I decided to take took a closer look at the GearLight. That's when I realized the price was for two identical M3 flashlights! When the flashlights arrived, I loaded both of them up with batteries to test them out and they were about 80% as bright as my large flashlight of comparable design. I put one in my car's center console and the other one inside the Monstrum flashlight mount. The only issue I had was that the center of the flashlight body was smaller than 1" but its collar measured out to 1.02" meaning I needed to slide the flashlight forward until collar was inside the mounting ring. Once I did that, it fit perfectly and had a more flush look with the handguard.I will add a photo to show you how it looks mounted and how I access the on/off button using the thumb on y support hand. The bottom line is that I now have a nice, rifle tac light that cost about $23 but one that also came with a duplicate flashlight! Don't wait another minute to buy because the lights may soon be gone.

Impressive Flashlight for the Price, but reliability concerns
UPDATED:Most of my original positive comments about all the features / pros of this light still apply. However, I have to lower my star rating due to long-term durability concerns. After the one year warranty period had ended (of course), the flashlight started having problems either not turning on when the button is clicked or sometimes randomly turning off while using it. It’s not the battery, I changed it - and when it’s working it’s still bright. It’s probably a problem with the switch or internal wiring/contacts being too delicate. Disappointed that this light did not last longer before having problems as it was an excellent little light for the first year or so. I guess low cost lights just aren’t built to last long. Side note: I’ve mostly switched to using small flashlights by Anker and others with USB rechargeable batteries in order to avoid having to replace/dispose batteries and avoid the dreaded corroded battery problem that plagues traditional flashlights if you don’t use the light for a while and forget to remove or replace an old battery. I didn’t see any corrosion in this light causing the problem, but just wanted to share that comment for those considering what kind of light to buy.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I just received the 2-pack of the GearLight M3 LED Flashlight and am very impressed with these lights for the low price point. I read reviews for numerous small LED flashlights before deciding on these, and so far no regrets about the decision. They are very compact, but very bright, attractive design, feel solid and seem to be well built, are easy to use, run on a single AA battery (with the option of rechargeable), and have only the features you really need (zoomable, high and low, and strobe which is less useful generally but still good to have). The 3 lamp settings are actually very easy to toggle, contrary to some of the reviews - you just cycle between the modes with a half-push of the button once it's on - default mode is high. If you really only want to use it in high mode as many reviewers have stated, you can just turn it on and off with a single full-push of the button - no need to cycle through the 3 modes. The zoom function also works well and has a great zoom range for a compact flashlight, focusing in to a small, very bright square (the shape of the LED element). The belt clip is nice to have as well. I can't speak to the longevity of these lights since I just got them, but I'd expect as long as you change the battery before it corrodes, I think these ought to last a long time. And while a lot of these small LED lights appear to be very similar, this particular company seems to stand behind their products better than some of the other makers/sellers out there - full replacement for one year and clear contact info for getting the replacement. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with this purchase. I'll be keeping one of them in my gear for camping trips and keep another in the car. Not much else to say really - It's a very functional, easy-to-use, compact, bright LED flashlight with only the features you need for a very low price point when you get the 2-pack. If you're reading this, it probably checks all the boxes you're looking for in a small affordable light. Shine on into that dark night!
