This is another film that becomes see-through at night. Can anybody recommend a privacy film that we can see outside that works day and night? Thanks

This kind of film doesn't exist. The only privacy films that do this are blackout privacy films, which will block all light too. Generally these privacy films assume you will draw your curtains or blinds in the evening, thus no longer needing the privacy film once it's dark outside.

Is it easy to remove when no longer required

Very easy with the non adhesive type. This type is also easier to install if you follow the directions.

If I have 2 windows opposite to each other with this mirrored film can people still see inside from the street?

Only when there’s a bright light on inside the house. In normal daylight no unless you go very close to the glass..

Will this stop my dog chasing random reflected rays of sunlight, by reducing the reflections and shadows?

It does reduce the sunrays but not sure if enough to stop your dog :)
