We’ve been buying E45 Moisturising Lotion as a family for years, so I think it’s fair to say we’ve conducted a fairly extensive, completely unscientific long-term clinical trial! E45 is a light, fragrance-free daily moisturiser designed for very dry, sensitive skin. It leaves your skin feeling soft, moisturised and considerably less like an old leather handbag. It’s suitable for eczema-prone skin, is dermatologically tested and contains ingredients specifically chosen to help lock in moisture and protect dry skin. In other words, it’s not just a bottle of vaguely milky-smelling stuff that you slap on and hope for the best. I’ve often wondered why E45 seems a little more expensive than some of the other moisturisers on the supermarket shelf. Having looked into it, the answer becomes fairly obvious. E45 is formulated specifically as a medical emollient and uses ingredients such as white soft paraffin that meet the required purity standards for treating very dry and sensitive skin. And, unlike some moisturisers that seem to have been designed primarily to smell like a tropical holiday, E45 is fragrance-free. Which is actually rather refreshing — quite literally. The lotion itself is easy to apply, absorbs well and doesn’t leave you wandering around the house feeling like you’ve been coated in chip fat. It provides long-lasting moisture and is particularly good for those days when your skin decides it has had enough of being skin and would rather resemble a piece of parchment. The verdict: A dependable, no-nonsense moisturiser that does exactly what it says on the bottle. We’ve been buying it for years, which probably says more than any amount of fancy advertising ever could. My wife goes for the expensive creams, especially crafted for different parts of the body. I need a cream for skin. It works for me and is economical.

Great, unscented moisturiser for normal to dry skin. Glides on and sinks into the skin. I bought it to take on holiday and use as my after sun cream - worked a treat.

I like the product so far, it moisturised well, fragrance free, skin feels, consistency and moderately greasy.

I was introduced to this product by my cousin when I was in Scotland. It was hard to find at first when I got home but I found it on Amazon. The lotion is light, has no fragrance and is not greasy. Soaks in quickly and doesn't leave a film on your skin. After purchasing on Amazon and paying for shipping I discovered echemist.co.uk which also sells the product and their shipping is FREE. So although I love this product I have now switch over and purchase it through echemist.

Let me start with this product is AWESOME! my son suffers with a severe case of eczema in which you can't see any good skin. I have to use triamcinolone ointment, betamethasone ointment, hydrocortisone 2.5% ointment, Eurcrisa ointment, vaseline, cetaphil cream, cocoa butter, shea butter and derma smooth oil. When I say it takes me about 15 minutes to apply all of this just to ease his itching, it is horrible. His skin sucks all of this up within 1 hour and he is back digging in his skin, tearing his skin off even with his nails cut to the skin. I have to keep onesie's on him under his clothes and keep long sleeves and pants on him all the time to keep him from scratching. I have been dealing with this for almost a year and a half. I was at the end of my rope when I heard someone talking about this cream, which is not really mentioned here in the states, but I said what the heck, I have spent SO MUCH MONEY in products that doesn't work, I said I would give it a try. When I say THIS PRODUCT WORKS, IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!! my son had scabs, sores and severe dry patches on him when I received this cream in yesterday 2-28-18. I applied it on him last night and I got him up to apply more, I KID YOU NOT, THE SCABS WERE GONE, THE SKIN WAS SMOOTH. I applied some more of this product on him this morning 3-1-18 before daycare and when I went to pick him up this afternoon, they asked me what I did, he did not scratch once today at daycare. I AM AND STILL IS, AMAZED AT HOW FAST THIS STUFF WORKS,,,,I HAD MY DOUBTS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT BUT NOW I AM A FIRM BELIEVER IN THIS STUFF. I HAVE SEEN THE MIRACLE ON MY SON FIRST HAND. I WAS ABLE TO FEEL MY SON'S SKIN AND IT WAS SMOOTH, IT FEELS NORMAL NOW. I HAVE NOT FELT HIS SMOOTH SKIN SINCE HE WAS 3 MONTHS OLD. HE WILL BE 2 IN MAY 2018 THIS IS HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS. I WISH I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS PRODUCT A LOOOOONNNNNGGGG TIME AGO THAT'S FOR SURE. Of course everything does not work for everybody, BUT I THANK GOD AND I MEAN I THANK GOD IT WORKS FOR MY SON!!!! The only downfall to this product is waiting for the shipment. It takes about a month, so when you order get enough and when you start to get low, order again so by the time you run out your next shipment will be in. Well good luck to whoever reads this post I pray it helps you as it has for my son. This stuff has been a true miracle for my son. It felt great to not see him scratch and cry because his skin was so bad and irritated. He actually got a good night sleep last night. Again, All I can say is WOW! THIS STUFF IS AWESOME!!!!!
