TOPDC 1 Gauge 25 Feet Heavy Duty Jumper Cables for Car, SUV, Truck

25 feet long is enought to connect ant two vehicles without having to squeeze two vehicles close together. Heavy enough wires to carry any automotive grade slectrical current with no voltage bleedoff. Cheap bag. Zipper broke first time I used it. For the price of similar cables elsewhere? Great deal.

Built good. I cut about 5’ off and added a quick connect plug that I can plug into my 12,000lb winch on my trailer that I seldom use and don’t want to buy a battery for it. Turned out good.. now it’s dual purpose as jumper cables or my winch

Normally I think these would be a 5 star review but I think that there is one glaring error of the design and frankly most of the cables I have seen possess the same problem.... The clamp on the handles do not open wide enough to clamp onto the battery cable connection at its widest point.... Which on more and more cars due to increased efficiency in shrinking (see:stuffing) everything in to the engine compartment. On many batteries in these new environments.... It might be the only angle that you have to work with. True.... All cables I have seen over close to my 60 years under the hood have been like this.... But now? In this day and age of technology where they are stuffing X4 the amount of horsepower into a space half of what it used to be.... With X100 the amount of smog and other goodies.... Someone cannot come up with a different hinge, pivot placement, handle design or length.... Something that probably wouldn't take much more than a day or two to design and the same to test.... Heck, you could even come up with something that checks the clamps proper/efficient connection instead of walking back and forth trying to start it over and over again making you think something bigger is wrong when in reality, the poor thing just doesn't have a good connection yet? These are the some of the best cables that I could find.... Super heavy gage, super long..... Everything you have wanted in the past.... But guess what....? The future was yesterday and I want what should have been redesigned a long time ago.... Come on guys..... We are not going to the moon and I bet a group of 5th graders could come up with a improved designed in a day!

I have not used the cables at this point ( Hope I don't have to LOL!!). The reason I bought these cables was 2 weeks ago I was at a friends and the temp was -16C. I had left the lights on in truck, after a 3 hour visit I came out and battery was dead. I have cables (6 gauge) I tried to jump start my truck from my friends with 6 gauge jumpers. Definitely not enough cranking power so we switched to my friends 1 gauge jumper cables any my truck started immediately. As soon as got home that day purchased these 1 gauge cables. So I would recommend that if you don't have 1 gauge cables , get some. The TOPDC 1 gauge cables look awesome and they kit comes with a bag and a terminal cleaner. As I said above "if " I ever have to use them I will update this post. But my 6 gauge jumpers failed me so once again highly recommend that you get some 1 gauge, and this looks like a awesome product!!!!!!

The TOPDC Jimpet Cables O purchased are awesome. They were good price for me. They are great for the location I live in with sub zero temperatures in the winter months.

Yesterday I used the cable to boost total empty a car battery. Owner tried to boost the car with different size of cable ( #6 AWG). He could not do it. TOPDC started the car as I pulled out empty battery and install new full charged battery. Perfect.
