The stand came in an impressive box. It was fully wrapped with protective wrapping which was easy to slip off. I suppose if you stare at it long enough you can see some slight imperfections - but you'd really have to stare. The stand is sturdy and even when you type using the mac onboard keyboard there isn't much movement (unless you have a tendency to really stomp your keys...). I have my 12" Macbook on it and it sits very flush with the stand and seems to be quite secure. There are rubber soles for what your laptop sits on to keep it steady and these seem well-fitted and do the job. In terms of height, I find with my seat lowered my eyes are probably flush with the top of the screen - which seems ideal in terms of ergonomics. The stand is also quite light - despite feeling sturdy. This was important to me as I currently have a herniated disc in my neck and am working from home when I can. I therefore need to be able to move the stand to different locations or tidy it away (I'm using my dining room table as my home office desk!). Given how light the stand is - moving it is absolutely no issue. I guess I would say it is a reassuring weight, like enough to move but not flimsy. So pros and cons: Pros - Well-made Sturdy Simple but beautiful design Mac fits and sits well Plenty of air can get to Mac given the design Very easy to move Pretty good height. Cons - Price - you're paying for beautiful simplicity Not adjustable - but can't really count this as it never professed to be adjustable! All-in-all I'm very pleased. I just hope longer term it remains as beautiful as it is today!

Not the cheapest but really well made and finished, and exactly the right height for everyday use. Bought this for my son because seeing him hunched over the laptop was making my back ache just looking at him. It comes in three parts that ‘click’ firmly together - but I’ve found that with a good strong pull you can get it apart again to fit in the case at the beginning/end of term… Top tip: get an external keyboard and mouse at the same time, or instead of a stiff neck they’ll get carpal tunnel syndrome… (rolls eyes)

Lovely well designed stand. My experience with Twelve South is one of total satisfaction, there products are always thought out and are of exemplary quality. For the record I’m using it with MacBook Air and stand is both stylish and sturdy.

Brilliant, seen something like this in Apple but the price wasn’t in my budget, thought I’d look on Amazon and found this for a fraction of the price. Does exactly the same thing.

Definitely a nice and sturdy stand, however the hooks are not tall enough and if you got a more powerful laptop which is likely to be slightly more thicker than a typical macbook it wont support it properly.

I was really delighted to find this stand, when I was searching the web for a stand for my newly acquired MacBook Pro M5 Pro 16-inch I was expecting that I’d be buying some utilitarian thing. I have nothing against utilitarian things, I have plenty of them, but I love good design and this is a beautiful and intelligent design. The Curve has an elegant simplicity about it but it is very practical. My 16-inch MacBook Pro is very stable on it. The laptop feet sit either side of the support arms on the stand so the bottom of the laptop sits directly on those arms, but there is a rubbery layer which means there is not possibility of the laptop being damaged by this. If you want to you can type with the laptop on the stand, it is a little springy but it is quite doable. This isn’t the plan, of course, what you really want with this is a good bluetooth keyboard (whisper: I’ve got the Logitech Keys Mini for Mac at the same time as this stand and my initial impression of this keyboard is excellent). There is something to be aware of, which I think is true of all stands like this one, which is that you do need to be a bit careful when opening the laptop. Raising the screen could tip up the base of the computer and that will cause it to rise up above the angled supports at the front and so the computer will start slipping down off the stand. This is something that I think would happen with any one of these stands, it is just something to be aware of. In the packaging it comes with this long sock thing to protect the stand. I think it is a good idea to hang on to that because it will be useful to protect the stand in the future if you are moving it from one location to another.

I bought two different laptop stands, and this one wins hands-down. It looks elegant, it's easy to move around, and most importantly it feels completely secure for my MacBook – even with a cat that loves to leap onto the desk when I'm working. You can actually knock the stand or the laptop quite hard and it won't budge at all. I thought twice about ordering it, as the price seemed a bit high for a simple stand. It's a good ergonomic height, where you can still use the keyboard for simple tasks (for more intensive work I use a separate keyboard which stows neatly underneath). Now I can see the great quality and beautiful design, I think it's definitely worth the price.

This is the best laptop stand out there. I know there are cheaper ones, gimmicky ones, lighter ones, etc... So, why is this the best laptop stand? I have been using this since I bought it (2020), and it has been going strong. No problem what so ever. It is made of solid aluminum piece, and it holds the laptop in place. You can type on the laptop on the stand unlike some stands that wobble. Because it is made of one piece of aluminum, you cannot adjust the height. Yet, this is the perfect height for the laptop that you do not need to adjust anything. It makes your posture more ergonomic, and makes it typing easier as well. Even the angle of webcam is better on this stand. If you consider all these factors + 5 years of use and still going strong, I think this is possibly the best stand. I highly recommend that anyone contemplating this should buy one and give it try.

I liked the look, it’s taller and my MacBook Pro looks Awesome, it’s the right height on my work station.
