The bottom line first: The bike is 7 months old now and has turned over 1,000 miles, so time to review it. Bottom line for me is that it was an outstanding value for the price. Unlike most others in the price range, it has an all-aluminum frame. Ancheer is also a brand name that has been around for a number of years, so they care about maintaining a brand reputation. These two things really set it apart from the competing bikes. Assembly: Assembly was straightforward with only one minor adjustment to the front brake caliper to get it centered over the rotor. Everything else was aligned well and looks good. I've had several compliments on how cool the bike looks. I added pedals, cushioned seat post, bags, etc. and raised the handlebars. Durability: Since purchase there have been no component failures. It shifts well, the brakes are great, and the tires still look good. The battery goes almost a month (maybe 150 miles) between charges. I use legs and motor, and I don't let the battery go all the way down. The charger gets hot - very hot - when charging for a couple of hours. You can barely pick it up. But the battery stays cool. How the speed control operates: An important thing to note is how this particular electronic speed controller (ESC) works. It is not a continuously variable speed unit. On the handlebar display, you choose a speed of 1-5, and that will be the fixed speed that the bike goes, whether you are twisting the hand throttle or turning the pedals. The hand throttle and pedals are on/off switches to take the bike to the preset speed. Speed 1=6mph, 2=10mph, 3=13mph, 4=16mph, and 5=22mph. Those speeds are programmed in and apparently not adjustable. So if you have the display set at, say, speed 3, then turning the hand throttle accelerates to 13mph and stays there. If you set it at 3 and turn the pedals more than 1 revolution and keep moving them, the bike goes to 13 and stays there. It is a 5-speed motor and you choose the speed with the digital display, and the motor simply goes to that speed whether you are turning the pedals or the hand grip. If you want to go faster than your preset speed, you can always add effort with your legs or select a higher speed. I would have preferred a variable speed ESC and I had to get used to this setup, but once I did, it works fine. Digital display: The digital display I got is not like either of the two pictured in the ad. It looks very similar to the monochrome one shown with my color, except that there is no USB port on the front of mine and mine is apparently not reprogrammable. They also show a color display with the white bike, and Ancheer CS told me that is not compatible with my particular bike. Finally, the listing describes a "cruise control" feature that I don't recognize. There is nothing in the owner's manual about that, so it may be a feature of one of the other digital display units. Unless, of course, going steadily at one of the 5 presets is "cruising". Overall I'm very happy with this bike, and I've not seen anything in the price range that comes close. I'd definitely buy another one.

I've had this bike for 4 days and put about 30 miles on it with no problems! The seat is terrible but I figured it would be so I ordered another that will be here soon. I'll probably never go on any difficult trail as I'll be riding it to work and back daily (about 11 miles round trip). There are a few big hills in San Francisco, and a lot of small hills and the power assist is really cool! The battery life is less than I hoped but still will be fine for my needs. It came with a headlight that was junk so I bought another one. I put a back rack and saddlebags on it for my laptop and work clothes and it all seems to be working great! I'd guess that within 6 months 2 others in my household will be buying the same thing. I haven't figured out how to view the screen in MPH instead of KPH, but I'm dealing with it. It has disk brakes and i'm having difficulty finding replacement pads... maybe they never wear out? I donno…. Overall I live this bike and would highly recommend it!!! 11 months later I've been riding this bike to and from work, 15 mile round trip with 4 really big hills, and still enjoying it. The battery is losing it's umph and needs to be charged twice a day and probably soon will need to be replaced. I finally found brake pads that nearly fit, and I was able to machine them down to the proper size. I've just had a bump in the road: Heading out to work I noticed the charger light was not showing green and I assumed I had forgotten to plug it in the night before. No, it was fully charged so I headed out. In a half mile in the whole bike went dead and would not come back on. Went back home and plugged it in, the bike came on and showed a full charge. I took the bus to work that day but the next day the exact same thing happened again. It's nearly impossible to ride this bike without the power because you are dragging the motorized wheel along like a little kid on roller skates. It's doable, but really hard on any hill and you'll never get it over 10 mph. I've contatcted Ancheer and finally got a reply to my email... no one has returned any phone message I have left. This may be a battery issue but I don't want to spend $385 if the bike is shot. I'm looking for local shops who diagnose these things and I may be on to one, we'll see. The person answering my email only asked for my Amazon order number, but I hope they will have some advice for me. Maybe it's just a software reset, I'm hoping. I was told by another user that the factory battery has a lifetime of 800 cycles, meaning you can charge it 800 times and then it's shot. I'm on about 600 since I have to charge it morning and evening. There is an aftermarket replacement that says it's good for 1,000 recharges... Continued: I spoke to a very nice man at an Ebike repair shop and he told me that without question my battery was dead and needed to be replaced. I ordered a different brand that is the same size and shape and it uses the better and newer samsung batteries for only $220.00. I had to rewire it to fit my bike which was pretty simple but took an hour of mostly double checking as I didn't want to fry my bike controller. It works great again, I am back on the road. After doing a lot of reading I've learned it is essential to give the bike a full charge before using it the first time (which I didn't do originally). In fact, the first 5 or 6 charges are very important for the live of the battery. The original battery was good for 800 cycles, or charges, but I probably brought that down to 600 cycles because of sloppy charging practices. My new battery is good for 1,000 cycles and by not overcharging it It'll probably last me 14 to 16 months which is not bad for $220.00; I'd spend $2500.00 on bus fair in that same time. I've put 3,500 miles on this bike in just over a year and except the battery problems it has been an exceptional purchase. Fixing flats is easy, the brakes and shifting apparatus are all Shimano brand which is great quality, I just bought a new chain for $17.00 and will install it soon, while I'm at it I'll probably replace the brake pads so I don't have to deal with it later. Those two items, besides normal tire and tube replacement, are the only things that have worn out on my bike! I have huge saddle bags on a custom made (by me) bike rack and I regularly carry all kinds of heavy things to and from work, I ride in the fog often, but never in the rain, up steep hills and back down, and this bike has just kept going! When I replace a tube I lovingly wipe the whole bike down to make it look new again, and it really does mostly look like it did out of the box. Very good quality paint.

I ordered this bike for general use in an around the small city I live in. I don't have a car and using the bus took up a lot of time. I've used it to get to work and back, for shopping, appointments and just in general day to day use. Starting in mid September and straight through the winter it worked fantastically, even in the cold. I wouldn't use it on days where it was snowing, but once the streets were clear it worked perfectly well. I would simply take the battery in with me rather than letting it get cold. I upgraded the seat to something more comfortable the first week, and upgraded it over time with things like fenders and a rearview mirror. Some nice insulated neoprene gloves combined with goggles and a ski mask made riding in the cold perfectly fine. In the spring I had it serviced at a local shop who put on new brake pads, breaklines and trued the alignment. After getting it back I ran into my first real problem roughly a week later, mid ride I lost all power and smelled burning plastic. The battery had burned out. Annoyed but deciding to use this as an opportunity to upgrade my battery. I made sure to order something compatible with the same amount of pins. A lot of relatively cheap bike companies have similar but slightly different components. The mounting tabs on the battery did not match those on the bike, being just slightly different. However, i found a simple work around of simply swapping the external components of the old mount out for the new one while keeping the actual internal components. It was as simple as unscrewing them and switching the parts. More recently, the wear on the rear tire has made it almost totally bald, warranting a replacement tire. Swapping the rear tire out was difficult, but doable with some help. however a week later the original inner tube seem to have developed a slow leak, so needed to be replaced. Knowing what to do now, the second removal and remounting of the rear tire went much more smoothly. Now, mid august I am having problems with the controller display. The bike still works fine, but the display doesn't show proper numbers. It was honestly rather hard to see in the daytime anyway. I've checked their site and their store on amazon, and while they do sell a lot of parts, replacement controller displays don't seem to be one of them, though there does seem able to be swapped out for a working one. If anyone at the company would like to sell me a display it would be more than willing to buy a new one. In short: This is a cheap, but good quality Starter Ebike. It will get you around, its simple to maintain and simple to upgrade. It can be taken on standard bus bike racks and replacement parts and tires are generally easy to find, and cheap. I'm just about to reach 900miles on it and it was worth every penny. Its massively opened up my city to me, both in terms of mobility and opening up new places to work at. I use it almost every day for something and I would happily buy another in the future, even if it stopped worked tomorrow.

I bought this Ancheer 750 Watt E-Bike for Christmas 2023. Because of some unfortunate incidents in my driving history, I am currently without a license so this is my primary mode of transportation. I live in urban Los Angeles, and I put this baby to the test everyday. She performs beautifully! Straight from the box, this thing looks and rides amazing. The build is extremly solid and quality, without being super heavy. One reason to pick this bike over many of the other popular styles these days is the tire width. Having a normal tire width like this bike compared to the fat-boy style allows users to put their e-bike on bus and train racks. For no/low emission public transportation users and proponents, this creates a seamless experience, going from one green vehicle to another, leaving no carbon footprint. This bike has great brakes, they work amazing. They are very sensitive and allow fast stopping power at any speed. The Shimano gear system is great, although in my situation I don't use it very often. The built in headlamp, horn, and bell function amazing, the horn being quite loud! I am a 6'1", 260 pound man, and this thimg has plenty of power to get me up to rop speed 21mph very fast. I can make it up very steep hills zig-zagging with throttle assist. Besides a few extra upgrades like rack and cushioned seat, the thing is still stock. Surprisingly, even with the milk crate on the back loaded with groceries and a 24 rack of Pacificos, I am still on the stock tires and tubes! I ride this e-bike all over, for long distances, and she is a winner. She only gave me one issue, in the very first month. The battery would not charge and seemed dead. I contacted Ancheer, and they said as soon as their new battery shipment from China arrived in 6 weeks, they would ship me one immediately. Of course this did not make me too happy, but Ancheer brightened up the situation by sending me a free combo lock AND extending my warranty for 2 years. After the new battery arrived, it has been smooth riding since. This is my second E-Bike, my first being a MERAX 500W that got stolen. The only thing I can say that I don't like about this bike versus the other bike is that you cannot use the throttle and pedal assist at the same time. Also it has a governor, topping out at 21 mph. I understand why it is on the bike, but I wish I wasn't. I 100% RECOMMEND THIS E-BIKE!!!

This is my second electric bike from this brand. I had purchased the previous model of this exact bike 4 or 5 years ago. The bike survived a lot of abuse from my son. My kid dropped it multiple times, and crashed it at least once. I also had to replace breaks and tires several times. And finally, after several years something had happened with electronics, and I decided it is a time to get a new bike. So, the new one arrived quickly. I've ordered exactly same size and same battery. The new bike was $200 cheaper than the older model. The new model definitely has better quality. The bike has a lot to like, and very few issues. Things I like: 1) the quality is very good! 2) It was packaged very well to make sure nothing breaks during shipment. 3) It is easy to assemble 4) It is easy to use and everything works very well 5) The price is reasonable Things I do not like: 1) The sit is too narrow and not comfortable. I would highly suggest to replace the sit. 2) No mud guards come with the bike. You need to buy the set separately. 3) The battery is very, very expensive if you ever need to replace one. It costs about half of the price of this bike. 4) Bike is very heavy. Conceptually speaking I would love to see hydraulic breaks on the future models. 5) You may need to watch breaks closely, and adjust as needed. I highly suggest to check breaks and tires pressure before each ride. 6) Tires replacement may be expensive since this size is not very common. All in all I think this is very good bike, and I can recommend it without any hesitation. Update as of May 2025: I have ended up purchasing 2 more the same bikes, one for myself, and another one for my wife. And now I have 3 bikes in total. The bikes are simply great! Love them! And I have also purchased Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Hitch to take all 3 bikes on the trips. Note, you have to watch the wait. 3 bikes without batteries should be fine, but 4 bikes will be too heavy for this rack.

The bike arrived dead on delivery. (Very Disappointing) The charger light shows green after plugging into the battery and then plugging into power. The battery only shows millivolts Dc and of course will not activate. I contacted tech support and tried calling the tech support number which only goes directly to voice mail. The other issue was the description of the bike showed it was to come with a color LCD display. It did not. I received one email from tech support and replied back quickly. No reply back and so I sent another email hours later. Not a great way to start. I did notice the tires do not seem to be very good tires so I will likely change them out top better tires and tubes if I can get the bike running. I will update this once this gets resolved assuming the issues get resolved quickly. The tech support number in California is only voicemail. I only received one email message from them on the initial ticket and no response to my replies. On a bright note, the bike frame seems to be built well and the connectors they use seem to be good quality. Arrived very well packaged. Instructions were fairly good. I would just recommend to them a better support method at this point. If they can get this fixed in a timely manner, I will gladly change my rating. Stay tuned for updates. 7-21-26- Received an email asking for photos and pictures showing me metering the battery and charger which I had done and sent to them in the first request. I had ordered two bikes from them at the start and now am thinking I should have waited before ordering the second bike. The support told me they have no phone service for repair or tech support. Only email. The number on the manual for support in California is just a fake number. I had to take off a star because of the poor service and poor-quality control of their products. If they somehow decide to give me better service and response times and get this quickly resolved I will update this and add stars. 7-22-26. Received my second bike yesterday and at least it works except it came with a faulty inner tube and old display. Both bikes were advertised with the new upgraded display. Once again support ask me to take picture of a leaky inner tube. I told them forget that I would just repurchase a new tube myself and I am also upgrading the junk tires they use on the bike. They still have not responded back about what they plan to do with battery/ charger they had me send picture of with me metering both with my voltage meter. It feels like they are trying to avoid doing anything about it. At this point I definitely would tell people to stay away from Ancheer. If they ever get it so I can use the first bike I will reconsider my score. Not totally giving up yet and asking to get an Amazon third party refund but getting close on at least one bike. They also seem to refuse to respond on the color upgraded display that was to come with the bike. 8-12-26- Many promises from the manufacturer to send a good battery but almost a month after buying still no new battery. I think this could be a decent bike if not for their poor service. But unless they come through soon I cannot recommend this bike at all to anyone. One problem I was told about is they get enough complaints they just open up under a new company name with the same bike and get a new ASN number and so the poor service and sub quality parts keep happening. I do have the second bike working now after spending my own money on upgrading equipment to make it safe.

I received the bike Saturday, earlier than posted. I assembled it successfully. A few items I’m trying to rectify are, 1. The front disc brake is slightly bent and rubs on the pads when rotating, 2. The front derailleur can’t quite be adjusted with the high limit switch to stop the chain from rubbing in highest gearing (fastest), 3. Two small guiding ears on the batteries were broken off and lying in the box. I’m fairly conversant with bikes (I own a specialized carbon bike, an old Trek MTB 830, a newer Trek X-Caliber 9 MTB, a Diamondback hybrid, and a vintage Fila from the ‘80s.). I rode 26miles this morning to familiarize myself to the e-bike journey, the battery still shows five bars. All electronics functioned well. All PAS levels worked well and the cruise control on “throttle only” maintained a constant speed. Unfortunately I didn’t have any steep hills to climb here in the low country of SC. I was able to ride in my zone 2 fairly easily using the PAS. I bought this bike so I could keep up with the youngsters (in their 60’s, I’m 79yo), I ride with in BiG Bend State Park and the desert areas of West Texas. So far I’m really pleased with this bike (least expensive bike I’ve ever bought). Ill probably switch out the seat and put better tires on, but stock is good for now. The bikecomputer and my cycling computer matched up well. So I give it two ole geezer thumbs up! Update 2/23/2025 - just spent a month and one half riding in West Texas desert areas. I have over 500 miles ridden, battery is still strong. I bent the front disc enough to stop the rubbing. I have gone up steep grades and the torque was great. I rode through deep sand, rough gravel paths, through cactus, and crashed several times. I put Maxxi 2.5” tires on front and back (the original tires didn’t last one desert ride!). The front shock was not too responsive, so I think I’ll look fora replacement. Overall I’m very pleased with this bike. I feel I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of it.

After purchasing this this bike, I have used it for 2 summers and only charged the battery up 4 x and it no longer will hold charge.

This product of E-bike works very well. I’ll start with my concerns about the bike when I turn it on the bike it is automatically in pedal assist mode but it’s very easy to just hit the minus button on the screen also, don’t forget that the actual on and off buttons are on the battery and not the screen, the screen has a separate on and off button. Now for my likes, this bike has a lot of torque like a lot. I can remember the first time I took my bike for a ride. I made the mistake of turning on the bike power mid-ride I went into a shake solemn, but I didn’t completely lose it and fall over, LOL overall, it's a great bike. This product is compatible with the Moto Wolf mobile phone holder, MDL 2815. I have also written a review for the same.

So far so good. This bike exceeds my expectations. Have only rode it about 70km so far, and will update my review in a year or so. Weighing 145lbs, the initial charge on my battery got me over 40km with just the thrust mode, with very little peddling on my part. Of those 40km, about 12km of those were climbing up very steep dirt trails. So much fun powering up those very steep hills with "minimal" pedaling; less work and more fun! The breaks need constant attention I find, but havent had any problems with them. I just hope this thing lasts!

I ride bike all the time so I purchased this for my wife so she could come with me. I took it trail riding and could not believe how powerful it is. I set it at 1 for peddle assist and the thing pulled my 200lb body up the side of a mountain with ease. I then came down the hill, lots of bumps and turns, and it did well overall, better than expected. Brakes work well, shifting is good, very impressed so far.
