My dryer vent and wall vent are even, so do i need the mv-flex or the mv-180 ???

If your dryer vent is lined up directly with the wall vent, then the MagVent MV-180 is the correct model for your installation. It is designed for the straight, 180 degree vent path.

My dryer vents from the left side. Can the Magvent be installed on the side?

Are both pieces of the MagVent magnetic? Or is one just metal and the other side a magnet?

Both sides of the MagVent contain a 4 inch ferrite ring magnet. The surfaces are beveled, making the magnets snap and lock into place.
