Great Quality, Low Price
I'm currently planning to add a dual hose portable AC unit with inverter to my garage, problem is the home was built in the 19th century and the garage is not the "typical" build. It's block with a wood roof and wood faces on the front and rear - I was planning to go straight through the wood wall at the top for the hoses. That's how I landed on this saw, as expected packaging was plain, but it did include a spare bit. Last night I decided to install my first vent in preparation, so chucked this up in a Metabo 18v hammer drill/driver - as others mentioned make sure you throw on your handle before using. Not thinking I tapped the trigger after chucking it, and it set off the RFC (anti-kickback) because of the weight of this thing, I felt my wrist begin to twist then remembered to put on the handle. With the handle installed I had no problem controlling it, so I headed to the ladder to drill out the hole. It's nice and sharp, had no problem digging into the wood, making quick work of it and I had a 6" hole in the wood in a minute. It didn't struggle whatsoever, the wood was 3/4", though it did set off Metabo's RFC system multiple times even though the drill wasn't being twisted (seems to be from the weight and all that extra energy spinning) - going to test another brand drill on the second hole to see if their system is just too sensitive. Overall very happy with this saw, would definitely recommend it for others - it's great if you need something affordable, but doesn't compromise it's performance.

Excellent Hole Saw โ Clean Cuts, No Chatter, Great Value (Extra Pilot Bit Included!)
Iโm a very experienced, hands-on homestead gardener and nursery operator, and I bought this primarily for practical shop and nursery work โ especially cutting clean holes in 5-gallon plastic containers for spigot installations and similar irrigation projects. It has exceeded expectations. What I Like: * Cuts very smooth, clean holes with surprisingly little effort * No chattering or grabbing, which I really appreciate in a hole saw this affordable * The bi-metal cutter feels well made and durable * Arbor holds securely and runs true * Includes an extra replacement pilot drill bit, which was a nice bonus and something not always included at this price * Great chip clearing and fast cutting I used this on plastic containers where I needed clean, accurate openings for bulkhead/spigot fittings, and it did the job beautifully. Clean edge, good control, and no ragged cuts. Itโs also useful well beyond that โ I can see this being excellent for all kinds of DIY, irrigation, nursery projects, light woodworking, and general shop use. What impressed me most was how smoothly it cuts. Some inexpensive hole saws chatter, walk, or leave ugly openings. This one tracked well, stayed stable, and produced professional-looking holes. For under ten bucks, including the extra pilot bit, this is an outstanding value. Bottom Line: Well made, cuts cleanly, runs smoothly, and performs far above its price point. For plastic, wood, and light-duty general use, I can strongly recommend it. Very pleased with this purchase โ easy 5 stars.

Perfect for DIY Projects
For about a third of the price of a similar hole saw at Home Depot, this did the job just as well. Itโs probably not professional grade, but for a homeowner doing an occasional project, itโs perfect. A very specialized tool that Iโm glad I was able to find without spending a fortune.

VIKITON 5-1/2 inch Hole Saw.
I changed out my old and cracked marine speakers. So I had to make a 5-1/2 inch hole over a 4-1/2 existing hole. Pain in the butt, however with a block of wood placed inside the existing hole it gave me a guide to expand the 4 holes to 5-1/2 inches. The only issues were the boat is on the water in Florida and it was 100 degrees hot. The hole saw worked perfectly. The price and quick delivery was excellent. Itโs a great product, it also effortlessly cut through steel that was behind the fiberglass. Success!!! Iโm glad thatโs over with. The new speakers sound amazing!!!

Great bang for the buck.
I needed a single holesaw (3/4") to replace one from my set of holesaws that had gone missing. I was not expecting much from an Amazon purchase of a tool. I was pleasantly surprised. It came quickly, it came with a spare arbor, and it worked well for my small project. (I only had to drill 2 holes). While I have bought and owned better quality tools, for the orice...I was quite happy with the holes away.

Great inexpensive hole saw
Used this to cut the holes for a stove vented hood that wanted an 8 inch pipe. It had to go thru the bottom of one cabinet and then thru three side panels and an outside wall. It worked well, although it was used to go thru only 1/2 plywood, an 1 1/2 inch pine siding. You will need a robust drill to use this . I actually used a cordless makita equipped with a 1/2" chuck. I used a high clutch setting to minimize the dangerous tendency for a hole saw this size to grab when it becomes misaligned while drilling . I was lucky enough to have 5 amp batteries for the drill and this particular drill worked great for this application. I have a big hole hawg but there wasn't enough room to even think about using it, plus when holes saws this size bind , that thing is a wrist breaker. I kept the pressure light and did all the holes without much effort, but definitely a little stress. Hole saw is still sharp but this is probably a one use for me. Great deal for $30 bucks or so, lumber yard big brand name would have been $150 at least.

Cuts fast! Works great !
Worked fantastic! My husband used this to cut through attic inside wall to the outside of house through that wood including old cedar board siding , 1/2โ insulation board and house wrap to place a new bathroom ceiling fan/exhaust light 4โ exhaust vent tube and attached to vinyl siding match exhaust cover on outside . He said this cut through like butter.
