KNIPEX Cobra Water Pump Pliers, 250 mm, 87 01 250

These are by far the best (in my opinion) water pump pliers you can buy for the money. Easy to adjust and never slip at all once you get the grip. They're very sturdy and will outlast me I'm sure.

well worth the price!! these grip and lock as it says. I haven't had these slip and don't think that it ever will. these have been great ever time I have used these. the design is great and is made of only high quality materials. these are the easiest to use because of the locking mechanism. they don't weigh much and are easy to use. I have put lots of force through these and they have never disappointed. I have seen them hold lots of weight through both me and others standing on these while testing them. therefore I don't think weight/for capacity is going to be a problem for anyone.

Quality product lasts years, had some for 20 years till I lost them and they were still In great shape after heavy daily use. These are the best water pump pilers you can buy In my opinion. I daily use some cheaper non branded ones ordered through work and although they are solid they are not as good as knipex. So good I had to buy a 2. I have used other branded ones before ie rothenberger which are good but find myself always picking up the knipex for the best grip and staying locked at the size I need for the task Had some issues with the process of buying these. Not the seller or the products fault in anyway, the customer service was fantastic with this company, a phone call away and helped me right away.

Having used a cheap set of grips in the past that continuously slipped off bolts and handles that kept snapping closed on my fingers I gave up using grips like this until I was recommended to try the Knipex Cobra's. I bought the 250mm (10 inch) version as it was the most useful toolbox option for me. so what did I like about this tool? :The jaws are thin enough to reach into enclosed spaces :The teeth are incredibly sharp, they grip onto bolts and wont let go, this is easily better than using an adjustable spanner, although the grips will chew into soft metal. : once the grips are effectively locked onto a pipe you don't have to squeeze them any more, just maintain pressure on the top of the handle and the teeth do all the work gripping like crazy, you can stick an extension bar onto the top handle to maximize leverage. : The push button adjustment works really well and offers a superb range of sizes. : the teeth of the tool have been hardened to a significant degree, these wont deform or roll like a cheap tool. : No matter what level of adjustment the handles always have a gap so you will never pinch your fingers again!. :The handles have been hot dipped and will not slide off the tool. :The only thing I will say is that the teeth are directional, you have to flip the tool over if you want to go from tightening to loosening to get the best grip possible. Yes these are around a tenner more than most brands but I think it is money well spent, these have never let go on me and will take all the punishment you can dish out to them, phenomenal performance!.

Bought for son in law. Very happy. They are well made, versatile and very handy in any job he does.

Good tool

Pour avoir eu l'occasion de travailler avec de nombreuses pinces multiprise de différentes marques (du bas de gamme jusqu'à du très haut de gamme), je dois dire que c'est tout simplement la meilleure de toute ! Sa qualité, sa finition, son poids, son grip, son efficacité, ... Bref la marque a sa réputation et cette pince Cobra le prouve.

Ein Biss, der alles packt! Ich muss gestehen, als ich meine Knipex Cobra Zange das erste Mal in der Hand hielt, fühlte ich mich wie ein Superheld. Ja, Sie haben richtig gehört – ein Superheld, bewaffnet mit einem Werkzeug, das mehr drauf hat als ein Taschenmesser von MacGyver. 🎩✨ Die Knipex Cobra Zange sieht nicht nur schick aus, sondern hat auch den Biss eines ausgewachsenen Krokodils. Egal ob es sich um widerspenstige Muttern, unhandliche Rohre oder sogar die hartnäckigsten Kronkorken handelt (ich übertreibe natürlich nur leicht 😉) – dieses Werkzeug packt alles. Und wenn es dann noch ein Selfie machen könnte, wäre es offiziell perfektioniert. Was mir besonders gefällt, ist die selbstsichernde Funktion. Man stellt sich das ein bisschen wie einen Handschlag mit einem Roboter vor, der nie loslässt, bis man ihm das Kommando gibt. Verrückt praktisch, wenn man mit öligen Händen herumwerkelt und nicht noch extra kämpfen will. Ein kleiner Tipp: Lassen Sie die Cobra Zange nicht unbeaufsichtigt herumliegen. Meine Frau hat sie entdeckt und jetzt werkelt sie mit solcher Begeisterung, dass ich bald um die Vormachtstellung im Werkzeugkasten kämpfen muss.
