I am 5ft 7inches, 200lbs, 36DD bust, and usually wear a size 14-16. I first ordered the Brindle Purple Grey dress in L (UK 16-18) at the end of May 2023. (Unfortunately, the M is 12 – 14, there is no option for 14-16) I probably could have gotten away with a M as it is elasticated just under the bust, with a tie belt, and it’s very generous in the bust area. I wore the Brindle Purple Grey dress with wedge sandals to a wedding at the beginning of June 2023, it was a beautiful day, and I got a lot of compliments on the dress – one guest asked me where I had got it. It was comfortable and easy to wear all day. The material is slightly stiff to the touch which I like as it keeps it’s shape. The belt didn’t get scrunched up and stayed flat (if you know what I mean). The pattern was on both sides of the dress. I was so impressed that I bought the Brindle Blue Gray dress at the beginning of July. Also in a L. Unfortunately, this dress is not the same material (despite saying it is on the label) – it’s not as stiff, the belt gets all twisted and folds in on itself. And it’s only printed on one side of the dress which makes it look a bit cheap. I have reached out to the seller to ask if there is a reason for the difference. UPDATE: The seller agreed the advised that the Brindle Purple Grey dress is of superiour quality and they have shared the information with their development team. They offered me a partial refund which I accepted. I’ve given 4* as the Brindle Purple Grey dress is fantastic. Lost a star for the poorer quality Brindle Blue Gray dress.

I had to return this dress, the top half fitted really well but the back was trailing far too much at the back, it’s a nice dress and the design was good. It would suit a tall person, not suitable for me as I am only 5ft1inches

Great dress for the price. Yes it's thin material but it's cut and sewn well and is very flattering. I'm a large busted size 16 and the large is just about right. A little snug on the boobs but the cut of the dress holds them nicely and I think a size up would have been too loose .

The dress was beautiful and apart from the fabric not being printed on the inside of the dress (so it does look strange behind your legs, or cheap should I say) , it was ordered on next day delivery for a wedding the following day. When I read the reviews it already warned that it did not come with a belt , although it’s advertised as it did. Mine did NOT come with a belt which was highly disappointing nor did it come till 2 days later which was not enough time to try it on for the wedding . I recieved half a dress with no belt , the belt would have finished the dress of nicely and it was highly disappointing. How do I reach out to claim my belt please ?

Love this dress. It’s true to colour and the style is so flattering. I bought a 2xl and I’m a uk size 18/20. I’m 5ft 7in tall and wore small heels for the perfect height.

Love the look and fit of the dress. The top is slightly large but as I am nursing this is ideal. The fabric is not the best quality though super light and perfect for hot summer days. Ordered it in one more color as I love it so much!

I was looking for a dress to wear to an indoor, air-conditioned, summer evening, wedding reception and I decided to wing it with this choice. I am a curvy 5'11" and normally wear a size 14, so I decided to purchase this dress in a size large as per the size chart. When I tried it on, it fit like a glove! The high-low skirting is very well placed at a really flattering placement in the torso area. A separate pkg was included that contains a belt in a similar fabric to the dress to tie along the seam. The fabric is nice and light with a very slight stretch in the bust (I am a 36DDD). This gives a sexy classy beachy vibe. It just needed a little humidity to get rid of the wrinkles from the packaging, but, all in all, I really love this dress! Just buy it, you won't be sorry! 😊

I absolutely love this dress. Bought it for my best friend's Celebration of Life, have worn it a few times since, and will be my dress for my son's graduation. It is so pretty and flowy, and very flattering on pretty much any type of body! It does seem a bit large, but I'm pretty sure that's how it's supposed to be. I'm 5'5", 130lbs and a small is perfect. I'd probably size down if you're on the fence between sizes. I'm small chested, so a lot of times the top of dresses are way too big, but the way it crosses over in the front makes it a non-issue. It's a little more than I'd like to pay for the quality, but I love how it looks so much I don't care. It's thin material, but the pattern makes it so you can't see through at all. (Pockets would be incredible!!!)
