if I place an order for 1 quantity will I get the 6packs as per the price? Nervous to order as previous buyer said she only received 1 bag and paid 6

If you are ordering the same as I did then you get 2 boxes of 3 packs of 2 blocks i.e 6 packs of 2 blocks.

Is it okay to drink the water straight directly from the water softener machine?

Yes - except in a few circumstances. Do not use it to make up formula milk for babies. Avoid drinking it if you are on a medically supervised low-sodium diet. And if your water is very hard (above 400ppm), it is better to drink the unsoftened water. Softened water is essentially the same as your mains water, but with the calcium and magnesium removed and replaced with sodium. For most of us this will make no difference. However it is good practice to install a separate, hard-water drinking tap when installing a water softener.

Is it guaranteed the brand I receive will be Kinetico and not a different brand?

We have placed an order twice for kinetico block salt and that is what we received on both occasions.

Can I use these in a Monarch Softener

If it takes this size blocks they can be used in any softener.
