Only reason i bought this "jelly" beard oil was i liked the concept. Unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed in the product. I purchased the Bergamot × vetiver scent, well can't smell anything other then the product used to make the "jelly oil". I smell no Bergamot and no vetiver. The product doesn't soak in well, it leaves my beard overly oily and shiny. This acts more like a balm, not a oil. I wanted a beard oil that absorbs into the skin and beard hair, not lay on the beard getting on whatever it touches. I was looking forward to trying a new product, especially one that was an out of the box idea. Like I mentioned, I'm disappointed with the product. Yes, i shook the bottle several times to see if maybe the scent/fragrance settle on the bottom or whatever, but each time i shook it and tried to smell it, nothing it just smelled like unscented balm. I would have given this product a 1 star, but I couldn't because i feel it has potential, just needs to go back to the drawing board.Edited.. The company reached out and offered a full refund. That in itself i respect allot. That type of customer service is great and other companies should take notes.

Moisturizes well. Not over powering, but smells sexy on my man. It’s not oily or messy and comes in a gel-cream formula. Beard looks nice. Hubby loves it and will buy again.

I tried this beard oil (Vetiver X scent) a couple months ago and I just bought my 2nd bottle (although I'm not quite done with the first bottle). I like that you can apply it by spreading it on a comb and then working it through your beard, rather than having to use your hands to work it in. I'm not sure if the jelly aspect makes it any more effective, but I think it's a lot easier to tell how much you're using each time without resorting to counting drops from a dropper, and I've had good luck getting my beard to tidy up while using it.About the scent - I think the scent is prominent at first, but nobody has mentioned it being too strong. My wife has a sensitive nose for perfumes, etc., and she has had no complaints, which I consider a significant victory - I've thrown away a fair number of products over the years because they were too much for her.

Applying this Bossman beard jelly after a beard wash boy makes you feel like a bossman. Smells just right imo. One’s that caught a whiff, complimented. Not overly oily and I’m finding that I don’t need too much to achieve that moisturizing conditioning balance of softness. My go to for special occasions. But, can be used any time, anywhere really. Doesn’t leave any sticky residue either. I recommend it!
