Size 10 Arrived NEW is original Box
Shoes arrived in original box brand new Size 10. Put shoes on and ran a very comfortable 24 min 5K run on the road. Some of the softest sole shoes that propel me forward and encourage me to run fast. I was planning on running a slow 10min/mile pace and ended up running 7:30min/mile pace against my will. I feel it is hard to run slow in these shoes.Downside, the soles are so soft, I feel like the lifetime of these shoes are limited to under 200 miles. I'm 5'9 and 170 pounds, these shoes take the stress off my ankles and work my calves more than usual which I like due to the 5mm drop. Another downside is the rubbing of outside seam when cornering in this shoe. It could cause abrasions if you run on the track or take a lot of corners. I would recommend bending the outside seams outwards to make it less ridged and flexible. See 3rd picture circled in RED. This stopped the rubbing for me.Great shoe, if it goes on sale I may get another set!

Cushioned & bouncy
These shoes are of the limited carbon plated shoes available for wide feet. I used them for my 20 mile run and completed the 2023 Berlin Marathon with them. My feet felt great during and after the marathon, they are light weight and dry quick too. The cushion protected my feet and felt propulsion even when my feet were tired, the wide platform made them quite stable too. The lacing is a bit odd but as long as is not too tight, it’s ok. Unfortunately the white shoes are the only available for wide feet and they will get very dirty, but it’s worth it, the quality is good, they still look rather new and I will be using them on future races.

Good shoes next to Nike alphafly2
Nike alphafly2 good, this one is good too and 700dollars cheaper, it comfortable for your feet. The only thing is that the bottom is not as thick as alphafly 2, so I am not sure if your knee will be protected as well as that one. The other thing is the bottom form is exposed to the ground and not covered by rubber layer, so it might be rested up if you stand on sharp things. I feel it more following my feet than Nike vaporfly, and not requiring a big arc of your feet as the alphafly does. It’s a good choice to me.

Is this for you?
First pair of carbon runners and well… I love the shape of the plate and its curves. It molds well with my feet giving me more propelling force. It’s bouncy and airy. Built in A/C for my toes. But the sock like material is thin. The laces make for an uncomfortable long distance running shoe if you have veiny feet like I do. Unless you find something to prevent the laces from restricting blood flow, then these are for fast short distances at best.

Lightweight & Springy!
Great for sprinting and has been great for up to 10k runs. The shoes are very springy and are good for heel/mid impact runners. I have fell in love with these shoes and are very lightweight. Good competition running shoe.

Poor Quality
Used these shoes for a few months and they’ve split along the side. Super disappointed since they’ve only been used about 10 times. Of course I’m past the return deadline so I’m stuck with worthless shoes.

Great shoe
I can see why people think they are hard to lace up. The thing is they have a stretchy Tongue on them that already keep the shoe tight. So unlike other shoes you have to be care because it is easy to tie to tight. Ran my first marathon in them and my feet feel great. My other running shoes my feet always hurt after 10 mile runs. I would definitely buy these again.

Worked well for marathoning
I'm 6'1 and about 170-160 lbs. These shoes surprised me I ran two marathons (Chicago marathon-2:51 and Madison wisconsin marathon 2:49 both races were in 2024) and used them for training as well. Durability isn't the best but it gets the job done. The shoes squeaky and the placement of the laces what I didn't like.
