Victorinox Spartan Swiss Army Knife - 12 Function Multi Tool Pocket Knife

There are literally hundreds of Swiss army type knives available with a wide range of functions from one or two blades to a virtual mini tool kit!! This pocket knife suits my day to day needs (mostly used when camping and in the garage). The build feels great quality and I think that this is a great value item and a reliable pocket tool. Obviously the blades are pretty sharp so don't purchase for minors !!

Victorinox is a well-known trustworthy brand so I didn’t hesitate to buy the Spartan Swiss Army Knife as a gift for my husband. The quality is exactly what you’d expect, excellent and reliable, with nothing to complain about. The only downside was that the packaging arrived damaged which was a bit disappointing since it was meant as a gift. Still the knife itself is perfect!

Love this knife, I really wish they made all models in the black scales as I think they look so much better, this is a great little tool, only thing it lacks is the scissors, all Sak models in this size will lack one of the tools you would like them to have but that’s a sales trick so you buy more of the models, this model is lightweight ( you wouldn’t know it’s in your pocket) and has a great combination of tools, the two blades is a great combo as you can use one as a daily and keep the other razor sharp for when you need it, I have also purchased the glasses screwdriver to fit in the corkscrew and the pin that slots in the scale under the Philips ( have a look if you didn’t know the hole is there on all models ). In the black scales this model looks the nuts, is it possible for a knife to look sexy? 😂

Nice little pocket knife you can’t go wrong with Swiss made knives

Bought this Spartan to replace an old or well-used SD Knife I’ve had for years. There’s a bewildering range of Swiss Army Knives produced and to choose from (and some are ridiculously over-spec’d and expensive in my opinion), however, if like me you just want a practical, everyday pocket knife to have in a pocket in the event that it might prove useful at times, the compact Spartan model will probably suit your needs. It comes without the small scissors found in the similar ‘Huntsman’ model (which can be useful when a blade won’t suffice), but the Spartan is a slightly slimmer, more compact pocket knife in comparison. The Black version of the knife is not a colour I would perhaps have immediately chosen, however, the knife looks pretty neat in black, and less juvenile than some of the other options. Some of the knife’s blades and so on, seem quite stiff to open, but hopefully they will (probably) loosen up after a little bit of use.

I have owned a Swiss Army knife since I was eighteen, now more than forty year ago; not the same knife I'm sorry to say and that's not because the first one broke but because I lost it. But far more than just a knife these are sturdy and reliable tools for all sorts of everyday jobs from tightening a screw to opening a wine bottle; and that's why we always buy one for our nieces, nephews, god-children and friends' children for their eighteenth birthday, and yes that does include the girls and no nobody's been disappointed yet [or they may have been too polite to say!]. There have always been a range of Swiss Army knives but the Spartan is the one we tend to buy, not just because the toolset is more "everyday" useful than some of the other knives, nor just because it's excellent value, but being relatively small it won't tear your pocket. However do remember not to inadvertently leave it in a trouser pocket when you try to board a plane or you too might loose yours.

Perfect all rounder, this is the 3rd one I have owned in the last 50yrs, the 2nd one I lost and then found again 6 months later. For durability, the Victorinox brand is unbeatable

Nigdy wcześniej nie miałem tak dobrego scyzoryka , lekki i ma wszystko co trzeba , krzyżaka jedynie gdzieś bym upchal , ale nie kosztem korkociąga no i to tyle polecam .
