I love this ESPRO Ultralight French Press coffee maker. The coffee is very easy for me to make at the exact strength that I like. It stays very hot and the coffee quality is excellent due to the double filter. This means no coffee grounds gets into the coffee. It’s very easy to travel with. I highly recommend.

This is absolutely fabulous! It ticks all the boxes for me. It is easy to use, keeps my coffee hot for at least 6 hours ( it might have been longer but I drank all the coffee at 6 hours) I will be trying it for my iced coffee this week, but the ease of brewing, full bodied coffee, and ease of clean-up was spot on! I really look forward to traveling with this french pressis easy to hold and the lid makes it spill-proof as well. What more can you ask for?

I love this thing!! I have several French presses but this one has replaced them all! It’s so light and compact and, with the double filter, it easily makes a great, clean cup of coffee! For traveling, it can’t be beat! I’d definitely buy it again…and probably will, as gifts for people I REALLY like😊

Nice product. I didn’t think it would work well since it was kind of light and felt dainty. But it works great and the espresso is quite good. Just a problem cleaning the canister. But that’s always an issue with French presses. Will recommend. Good product, I travel with it everywhere.

This is our second one. When we purchased the first one around 7 years ago, we kept using a pairing knife to get the seals out before putting the unit in the dishwasher. Even with many small cuts in the seals the press continues to produce fantastic, and grit free, French press coffee. Since they were on sale and we don't want to be without this press should the seals ever fail, we purchased a second. My only gripe is that Espro does not sell replacement seals separately.

Truly impressive and also great functionality a little bit difficult to clean some of the filters, but if the filters are doing a good job, I don’t mind putting in the extra effort. Certainly recommend this for anybody who is even for home besides travel use

Love this item. Works very well for travelers. I'm ordering Espro P7. 32oz. The amount of coffee I can make is one cup with the Espro PO Ultralight. So if you drink one cup 12oz to 13 oz it's perfect but my preference is a larger serving size. Hope this helps. It also keeps coffee hot for about an hour. I made a second cup while I drank the first cup. An hour later it was still piping hot. 2 hour mark temp drops to 128° F. 3 hour mark temp drops to 100°F. Had to reheat it. Makes delicious coffee with finely ground fresh medium roasted beans. Smooth, gritless coffee. Extracts every bit of flavor. So use quality single source coffee that is roasted fresh within a few weeks if possible to get best results.

Makes good coffee but is a pain to clean.

Convenient, customizable, functionally superior, keeps the contents hot even with the lid open, easy to clean, no spill… Highly recommended for people on the go, in a plane, in the car, or in your office. It’s been more than a couple years since I’ve been using it, and it’s still going strong. Super satisfied.

Ich hatte diese French Press drei Monate in Südostasien dabei und sie überzeugt in folgenden Punkten voll und ganz: Gewicht: Dieser Tumbler ist superleicht, deutlich leichter als erwartet. Man trägt also eigentlich nur das Gewicht des Inhalts. Thermofunktionalität: Dieser Aspekt hat mich wahrscheinlich am meisten beeindruckt. Egal ob heiß oder kalt, die Getränke waren auch viele Stunden nachdem sie abgefüllt wurden immer noch entweder super-heiß oder -kalt. Eiswürfel waren auch nach vielen Stunden noch nicht geschmolzen! Kaffee: Das System ist sehr gut konzipiert und erzeugt einen sehr guten Kaffee. Durch den doppelten Mesh-Filter hat man so gut wie keine Rückstände im Kaffee (auch ohne die zusätzlich erhältlichen Filter funktioniert dies wunderbar). Alle Teile sind sehr gut voneinander abgedichtet und wenn sich genug Kaffeepulver in der Kanne befindet, zieht der Kaffee auch nicht unendlich lang nach. Ich bin mit diesem Tumbler super zufrieden und sehr froh, dass ich ihn mir für meine Reisen angeschafft habe. Egal ob heiß oder kalt, egal ob Kaffee oder ein anderes Getränk, die Thermoeigenschaften und das Gewicht wären schon ohne die French Press Funktion absolut preiswert.

I purchased this product out of curiosity due to the raving reviews I had heard about it. I had also heard varied reviews comparing it the aeropress so I was curious to know how it stacked up against the aeropress which I loved. I will compare this product to the aeropress as well as other thoughts I have on the product. Pros: - Self contained leak proof system, easy to delay cleaning/easy to clean - Thermal system great for on the go - Portable and sleek - Durable - Also works fine for other beverages other than coffee Cons: - Pricier than the aeropress, but the price is coming down to the point it is comparable - Occasional silt at the bottom of the cup, but far less than the typical french pressed coffee - Makes a really good cup of coffee, but I don't think many are going to massively abandon aeropresses for espros for coffee competitions Other: - Different flavour profile to aeropress, unfair to directly compare it in my opinion other than for portability discussions. If you like aeropress coffee, this might not be for you. Overall, form wise, it doesn't take up much more space than the aeropress which allows the espro to fare well in terms of portability. I felt the flavour profile from the Espro vastly different than the aeropress. It was far more similar to the french press in my opinion which is a pro or a con depending on what you like for your coffee. I personally prefer aeropress, but I do think the Espro has its uses and I will continue to use this on a regular basis. I do like how you can make a cup of coffee in the Espro and delay throwing away the grinds until after you've finished drinking the coffee. I also like how you can make the coffee and have it portable and to go unlike the french press and aeropress which you have to transfer to another cup immediately. I did find that this was an excellent option for tea as it could strain the tea leaves. There are not many insulated container options out there as an all in one option that would beat the Espro for tea. I think this is a great product for tea and coffee. I would definitely consider buying this again, but probably more for tea than coffee.
