clean design and sturdy
I ordered this to replace our old bidet that lasted 15 years. This Luxe bidet looks sturdier, and it includes all the hardwares needed. Very easy to install and it is an upgrade from our old unit. Very affordable and easily recommendable. Update: I like this product so much that I ordered another one for our other bathroom. Installed it today and it is working fine.

You are a disgusting pig, but you can be helped.
First, I'm going to try to sell you on the Bidet by shaming you, you disgusting pig. Second, I'm going to try to sell you on this bidet. You're probably sitting there scratching your itchy unclean ameri-bum thinking to yourself "Meh, do I really need a bidet? I mean, this one gets amazing reviews and the value compared to other brands is great? But is it really worth it?" Well... let me tell you. First let me throw you a little analogy. Imagine you accidentally break through toilet paper during a wipe and get nastyness on your hand. Shh...It happens... Would you wipe it off with a piece of paper? Or would you wash it off? Well then... why would you wash it off? Is it because wiping it off isn't sufficient for cleanliness? Well so too is the case for your most sensitive of nasty bits. Water washes, paper smears, and you're the most disgusting person I know because you smear poo all over yourself. I originally bought this because my girlfriend is a Polish immigrant and though I'd be all euro-fancy-pants and make her feel more at home. To my dismay, I didn't know that her Eastern European butt was just as disgusting as my American butt, and she neither understood the concept, nor ever caught on, because in her words... "so... it sprays water up your butt?" No. It does not spray water up your heiney. A gentle stream of silky-smooth buttery-water caresses your heiney. After that, all that is usually required is 1 or 2 paper wad wipes to dry and shine. Wax on, wax off. Faster, cleaner, and simpler than this cave-man method you've grown so fond of. Plus, toilet paper production uses more water and does more damage to the environment than the small amount of water used during your luxe bidet cleaning. The product: The manufacturer clearly knew you are/were a disgusting cave-dwelling poo smearer, so they made it simple. I, also a stinky cave-person, was able to install the product in less than 15 minutes. No, not all of the components are made out of nickle-titanium alloy, but any engineer worth their weight in toilet paper knows that the cheapest materials that fit the proper specs/loads/criteria/engineerstuff is the best material to use, because it makes the product both financially accessible and durable. My oldest Luxe bidet is about a year old, and it works just as well as the first day, and I suspect it is durable enough to last for a long time. I have since filled every bathroom in my cave with a bidet. Those with more than one bathroom understand that it's bad luck to poop in the same toilet for more than one day in a row, so pick up one for each bathroom. In all seriousness, this is a great product. I recommend it to all of my friends, to which they respond "why do you always talk about pooping when we're at the dinner table?, or why won't you just poop in a public bathroom?" Meh... One of these days one of them will poop at my place, get curious about this funny contraption, and be forever changed... and simultaneously disgusted at their poo-smearing peers. So next time you wipe with toilet paper, remember that there's a man on the internet who is judging you. And you should be ashamed, so very ashamed.

Grateful I came upon this device!
I just installed this unit today, and after one... erm... "field test," I have to say that this is something long overdue in my life. The clean provided is the cause of MUCH satisfaction, after many rolls of toilet paper in the past that didn't quite do the job as I require. A few things to note: I did have to tighten some of the elements a LOT to make them stop dripping, especially the connection to the toilet tank itself. I am not a dainty person, so, this is something to be aware of. At this point, there are now zero leaks--crossing my fingers that remains the case. Item two: the unit does raise the back of the seat slightly higher than the factory bumpers of my toilet seat in the front. After reading how someone had cracked the unit, I thought I could hopefully avoid that by applying higher bumpers to the front of my toilet seat. I ordered LASCO 02-3241 White Rubber Toilet Seat Replacement Bumpers with Screws and installed them, and they were the perfect height for the unit. I should take off a star on the rating, for the manufacturer not including this as part of the package, as bigger bumpers are going to be a necessity for nearly every installation of this product, but, I can't, because, well... this product works so marvelously, I have to forgive such a minor omission. Especially given how much the unit costs to begin with. Finally, installation: as mentioned, I did have to apply quite a bit of pressure to secure the seals, and that does make me a wee bit nervous. It did take me more than the 20 minutes they estimate it should take, but it was a straightforward process, nonetheless. I am still monitoring for leaks, but so far, it's looking good. As for functionality... this is what I have been dreaming of for quite a while now. The clean is deep, and I have no problem whatsoever with the pressure. I would recommend, rather than a few pieces of TP to blot yourself after you are done, to rather instead use a piece of paper towel. TP dissolves on contact with water, and as such, is not great for drying up with. Just make sure you put the paper towel you use in the trash, not in the toilet--they will clog your system up and mess with your city sewage for the same reason that they work better for mopping up the wetness. (Wet wipes should never be flushed either, incidentally, for the exact same reason. They claim to be "flushable," but they are extremely bad for any sewage system.) Anyhow--if this unit works out, I will be in heaven. After just one use, I feel cleaner than I have after doing my business in ages. (I did give one initial TP wipe, just so that there wasn't anything TOO grotesque to have to spray away...) Previously, I have had to take a shower to get the same effect. I can't recommend this product enough, especially if you have felt that TP alone was not enough to clean you properly. It's quite amazing.

Excellent Alternative to Paper
The first time I encountered a bidet was on my first visit to Europe in the late 80's. I thought they were a great idea and worked much better than the usual "American" method. Ever since then I have wanted to have a bidet in my home, but have never had the money or the space. When I first encountered these after market add-ons, I was at first skeptical that they would do the job. The units I was familiar with were at best clunky looking, and still fairly expensive. When I came across the Luxe Bidet Neo 110 it seemed to fit what I was looking for. It's sleek less obtrusive design, and reasonable price made it worth trying. The price is quite reasonable compared to other units I am familiar with. The design is simple and barely noticeable once installed. Installation is quite easy. It took me less than 30 minutes from the time I opened the box to the first test run. The only tool I needed was an adjustable wrench and a pan to catch any left over water in the tank. I do have some experience with plumbing, but it would still be a snap for anyone to install. Not much more complicated than attaching a garden hose. Price, looks, ease of installation are all pluses, but ultimately meaningless if the unit does not perform it's intended task. I was not sure how effective such a unit could be, and whether there would be a period of trial and error. After the first month of use I must say that the Luxe Bidet performs exactly as advertised. I feel much cleaner with less irritation than the old way. I'm using much less toilet paper as well, just a little to pat dry. I am completely happy and will not be going back any time soon. I plan to get a second unit for the upstairs. It is not all good however, there are some drawbacks although minor in my mind. First the diverter that brings water to the unit is plastic. I've had no issue with it, but would feel better if it were metal. They make a metal unit that sells for about 8 dollars. With the already reasonable price I don't see that it would be a deal breaker to make the metal diverter standard and raise the price to cover the additional cost. The second issue is that the unit causes the seat to sit on a slight slant. Since the unit mounts under the seat at the back it causes a the seat to slant about 1/2 an inch to the front. It bothered me aesthetically at first, but it is not that noticeable and I have gotten used to it by now. When using the unit this is not at all noticeable. They do make bumpers that you can add to level the seat. Lastly I would recommend never going beyond the first setting. It may be that I just have extremely high water pressure, but it is a pretty good blast even on the lowest setting. Obviously a certain amount of force is required to do the job, but I have had no need to go beyond the first position. I have seen other reviews that complain of leaking. I used some teflon tape on the threads and have no issue with leaks. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more efficient and hygienic alternative to paper. Although I do "Love it" I only gave it 4 stars for the few minor drawbacks mentioned above. A more accurate rating for me would be 4.5. A. de Fato

Amazing product - a life changer
I’ve always been interested in owning a bidet. There has always been a certain level of intrigue. The notion of having a cool, assertive jet of water thoroughly clean your nether regions resulting in a fresh behind has always appealed to me. Unfortunately, I always assumed it would be much too difficult to acquire one. I had absolutely no idea the bidet, in this portable, easy-to-install form, even existed. I always assumed they were large, porcelain units which had to be installed next to the toilet (as you would find in Europe) requiring elaborate plumbing and home renovation. However one day, I happened to read on a popular website (Reddit: /r/frugal) that the number one item that is recommended to a consumer both to save money, and to raise one’s quality of life is a portable bidet. I was immediately intrigued and set out to research the matter further. I had a specific price range in mind and I desired one which had an aesthetically pleasing, unobtrusive look. I finally settled on the Luxe Neo 110. The difference this simple device has made in my everyday life is immeasurable. The bidet arrived quickly in a well padded box. There are not a lot of components - the bidet itself, a braided hose with steel fittings, and a plastic tee. Installation was a snap. The trickiest part, and I cannot emphasize this enough, is you MUST make sure the fittings are threaded correctly. Other reviewers have complained about the plastic T fitting leaking water. It should not leak at all if it is threaded as it should be. It took me several attempts unscrewing the fitting and screwing it back to finally arrive at proper threading. Once installed I finally had the chance to try it out! that initial blast of water felt quite foreign and off-putting. I quickly become accustomed though and by the third or fourth usage, I had upped my setting to 2. Anything higher than 2 was just too intense. Of course your results may vary. As for the water temperature, because the water is being fed to the bidet from the pipes in the bathroom wall, the water temperature is typically room temperature and quite manageable, if not pleasurable, during these hot summer months. I do not feel as though a heating unit would be necessary to make me happy. I have used considerably less toilet paper since acquiring my Lux Neo 110. You will still need to pat yourself dry after each use, however the days of “endless wiping” are behind me. Perhaps it is tmi (too much information) but one of my biggest pet peeves previously was having to take ANOTHER shower after a particularly messy movement. Well no more. The bidet does it’s job effectively each and every time. The only downside I can think of is having to “go” whilst at work - I’ve become quite spoiled. If you are considering purchasing a bidet I would strongly recommend you do so! The Lux Neo 110 has proven to be a valuable and respected addition to our household.

A Substantial Reduction in Toilet Paper Expense
This review is for the Luxe Bidet Neo 110 (Elite Series) installed on a Toto 1.6GPF/6.0LPF toilet with elongated front bowl & SoftClose® seat. Pros: 1. Came with everything needed to install on the toilet, including the water supply splitter valve & 2 steel-braided water supply lines of different sized connectors. 2. Easy to install. I used a small adjustable wrench on the water supply lines & a wide flat-tip screwdriver on the plastic toilet seat hinge bolts. 3. Adjustable enough to work with the elongated bowl. Other family members & visitors can make minor adjustments by scooching (urban dictionary) the target area slightly on the seat. 4. 5 water pressure settings. Settings 2 & 3 work great with the water pressure in our house. Settings 4 & 5 may be for houses with lower water pressure. As with all things under pressure, i.e. water hoses, air compressors, spouses, it's advisable to operate slowly. 5. Control panel is convenient & simple to use. 6. Installed Dec. 12, 2013 & has endured moderate to heavy use with no problems with design, operation, or materials. 7. I did not need to make any leveling adjustments to the seat to accommodate the mounting plates as a couple of the other reviewers needed to do. Depends on your model toilet. Good advice from them if you do. 8. An immediate & substantial reduction in the amount of toilet paper we go though. In addition to the savings in toilet paper, the main sewer line has not gotten clogged with toilet paper as it had every month for the past few years. (Root intrusion that would cost over $5,000 to repair). Cons: So far, I can't think of any. I have not had any of the issues reported by a few of the other reviewers & I have not owned any other bidet to compare it to. I didn't really know what to expect with this one, but I am very happy with it & I would recommend it to anyone interested in buying one. Although the idea did occur to me, I'm not sure I would give it as a gift. Don't get me wrong, it would make a great gift, but could create an awkward moment around the Christmas tree. A bit of advice: After installing the bidet, resist the urge to look in the bowl & test it unless you like physical comedy. Or, do what I did & get someone else (wife) to look in the bowl while you "test" the water valve. I thought the water pressure would move the little protective door out of the way, but no, the water nozzle drops down below it before dispensing the water. Surprise!

Product works as advertised and adds great value to our daily lifestyle
I have owned both Luxe Bidet Neo 110 and Neo 180. My parents have purchased the Neo 110 as well. The 110 comes with a single knob and the 180 has a few added options in the controls, but the components and build are the same. These are fantastic products enabling hands-free, hygienic, and low-cost cleaning with negligible added burden to maintain. Plastic Parts: Other reviewers have complained about the plastic T-adapter frequently. It is plastic and therefore of lower quality than metal T-adapters. If this is a concern, the metal adapters are available [1]. For me, this wasn't a major issue. I did find a leak once, on the Neo 180 after using it for about 8 months. I unscrewed the T-adapter, and screwed it back in, which stopped the leak. I am guessing I might have to do the same every few months; an acceptable hazard for the benefit this bidet provides. Water Pressure Control: Getting the right amount of water pressure in first try is an art. This is as true with these bidets as it is true for many overhead showers with pressure control option. This is just by nature of plumbing products available today. The designers of Luxe Bidet could upgrade to have even better pressure control but I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all solution that is easy to do. Every building is setup differently, and if this is a significant issue in yours, I recommend pressure regulator units for the entire toilet to control the water pressure to your desired level (these units can increase pressure too). Fitting Under The Seat: This was perhaps my biggest issue. These bidets are fitted under the seat on the same screws that hold the seat. I ended up fixing it too firmly against the back of the toilet pot. As a result, every time someone sat on the seat, the plastic water valve of the bidet hit again the back until it cracked completely. The place where you screw the bidet has a long slit such that you can adjust this right. I didn't read the manuals so I do not know if there was a warning anywhere about this, but I would like to pace a disclaimer here (see below). The only thing I could do is replace the Bidet. Overall, I still think this deserves 5 stars. It is intuitively easy to install, such that I didn't need to read anything before doing it. Even if you have no experience with hands-on plumbing, as I am, the T-valve is just about screwing the fittings on both ends. Ultimately, the spray works as advertised, and there are no serious concerns with durability outside of the usual wear-and-tear of similar plastic-based products that go in the bathroom. Warning: Do not screw the bidet too firmly against the back of the toilet pot. There should be enough clearance for friction. It works! And works great !
We came here a few years back, and using paper has always felt unclean and unhygienic and like some other people we resorted to using moist wipes. My travel bag always had a few of them. But it was still not good and a very expensive alternative. After seeing a similar product (I don't remember the name of) at my cousin's place many years back I had totally forgotten it. Very recently when I was again looking at my paper product costs I decided to just search on the internet for it and here I was looking at the Luxe Bidets. This product looked like the best combination of affordability v/s features and I went for it. I couldn't have been happier. The long lost cleanliness is back, without wasting a lot of papers! The only question I wasted a lot of time on was to think whether I need the Hot water Bidet or not - especially because the cousin I had used this thing long back had both Warm and Cold water and it was so amazingly soothing in winters :). But after reading a lot of reviews I decided against it, as 1) In some rented apartments, it's really impossible without doing a lot of holes in places the apartment people won't allow 2) It's more complicated and time consuming to install that than the cold water one 3) It's pricier 4) The water even in icy cold winters is mostly not THAT cold that you cannot bear it for a small time. Of course, I would have loved getting a Warm water bidet if I could do the required fittings for the warm water easily, but for now this is the one I'm using, and I am so glad I ordered it. I recently ordered another one for my second bathroom. I'd upgrade from it only when Luxe releases a product in which they heat the water up in their own device rather than taking a hot water pipeline, just to make it easier in installation. One very important advice to anyone who buys the product: If you have the plastic T junction, DO NOT show your strength and tighten the threads too much while fitting the pipes - you will break it. I had read that in the reviews, but STILL forgot that while fitting my first bidet and broke the plastic T-junction. They also sell a metal one which is what I replaced it with (which also comes with a knob to control the water supply - much better!). In my second bidet, I was cautious and only tightened the screws until it doesn't leak any water, and it was all perfect installed in 15 minutes! I recommend this product to anyone starting with bidets in the US.

Great purchase
I have owned this bidet for 3 years now. It was a simple purchase that upturned my view of the bathroom - It's fantastic. My family has grown to love it too. Definitely one of the best purchases I made for our bathroom. The product its self is great. Fairly simple with nothing really fancy about it. No heat controls, but easy assembly. And pressure is controlled by a dial. I had no issues with the product not working over these 3 years. And as far as my experience with this product has been, I had no leaks or replacement parts needed during this time either. A couple days ago the plastic assembly around the bidet controls to the plastic that goes under the toilet seat snapped almost completely in half. For regular everyday use, this lasted far longer than I had expected. But despite the assembly snapping, the bidet and the controls still work fine. It lasted a solid 3 years, and I think this was an absolutely fantastic purchase for the money, comfort and cleanliness. Will I rebuy the Neo 110? No. I'm now upgrading to the Neo 185 instead. So, why buy this? I think the Neo 110 is perfect if you have never had a bidet before, and want to try it out like I did. It's simple enough that you will understand the point of having one and either like it or hate it.
