Putting joy back into cooking.
This is my second deBuyer pan. Like all other users, once you've cooked with dB, you'll find it hard to cook with other cookware. My first purchase was the Force Blue skillet 28cm which I use for all stir fries including fried egg. It's continual changing patina due to seasoning means it's not much to look at but it conducts heat so efficiently, you must have all your ingredients at hand. Stir fry is so speedy, something I never thought was possible with my Aga hotplate. I bought this country pan for several reasons: higher rim almost double the height of my skillet(acts like a wok) and it has two handles which makes lifting much easier. It is only slightly heavier than my skillet unlike the single handle country pan which is much heavier I believe. And I'm now able to use both at a time and they are also fit to go into the oven. Initial seasoning was very quick and I'm still in the process of building up its patina by using it as much as I can. Washing up with hot water and steel mesh and seasoning it after has become second nature to me now and I just use my stainless steel cookware for acidic sauces. Thanks to deBuyer for making this amazing cookware available on Amazon, and I love how it came packaged in brown paper too!

Very nice pot for life!
Lovely pot for about two to 3 people. Non stick after first seasoning, so far has seared beef burgers, stir fry vegetable with tofu, fried rice, fried eggs, ramen/ nabe hot pot. Excellent & wonderful heat distribution...and I’m sure I will use less gas because there is no need to have the flame too high because the pot gets nice and hot... even for searing . The metal is thick & sturdy and definitely won’t warp or dent... and overall feel of excellent quality

Love deBuyer pans
Love it! Bit of a hassle to clean but would choose these pans over nonstick pans any day. Once these pans are seasoned, it’s an absolute pleasure to cook in them. Make sure you season them properly or they rust pretty quickly.

Ready for OnePot

Versatile Addition Kitchen--Definitely Useful
While this Country Chef Frying Pan is marketed for searing meats, it is also great for sauteing, frying and cooking vegetables. Because I cook mostly vegetables, this pan works really well as a "demi-wok" for sauteing vegetables and frying cuts of veggies or even tofu. The oil/fats are better contained by the higher sides and the heat in the pan stays evenly hot when using to cook. (It also does a great job with browning and pan-frying chicken!) My only complaint was that when I received the pan, its interior was scratched. I followed the directions for using the pan, but after two uses, decided to re-season it, to improve the pan's interior "non-stick" surface and overall performance.

1. Geen RVS zoals omschreven, maar Carbon staal. Roest dus als je niet goed behandelt. 2.Geen coating aanwezig. (alleen bijenwas voor transport) 3. niet vaatwasserbestendig. Uit alles blijkt onvoldoende productkennis!!
