Exceptional Sound, feature rich value proposition.
Exceptional little piece of kit at a very reasonable price. I bought this for my shop running a pair of Klipsche Tangent speakers. Woke the speakers right up and sound blissful. Surprisingly, sublime sound quality from this little amp. Bluetooths is awesome sounding through this device and easy as pie to make use of. Love that it does not auto-intrude and take over your bluetoooth either Just go to your media output, select the device done. Easy. I run a denon turntable on this device with an orphoton cart and it sound just splendid as well. Really, pyle just became a brand im gonna watch for. Likely will buy an upscale version for the home as well.

Good value for the price, would be great with a few more features
Overall, the product does what I want from it, which is to serve as a rackmount amplifier for music and movies in my office separate from my main studio monitors. Overall, it functions completely adequately for the price, and the sound is very good with my existing bookshelf speakers and subwoofer. The remote is ok, but not all buttons appear to have a use (e.g., the red button does not actually power down the unit, which has a hard switch on the front). Nonetheless, it does give you a volume override to the main knob, and the ability to cycle through radio stations and switch modes to bluetooth. I don't really use the remote, but I'm generally sitting at arm's reach from the unit. I have two main quibbles: 1) the lack of an optical input. Given that many products these days no longer bother to include RCA outs, this a potentially huge inconvenience. 2) the subwoofer volume is totally independent, rather than set as a relative setting to main volume. This means that you must always adjust two volumes. This is especially annoying because of the lack of a quick override mute feature, which would at least give a quick cut of all sound. Instead, I roll down the main volume when I get a phone call and then just have loud rumbling. I'll get used to this and can live with it, but my last amplifier rolled SW along with main volume, which makes more sense, since I also have a volume control on the subwoofer itself. Neither of these issues is annoying enough for me to return this, and I haven't found another rackmount product that serves my purpose. I definitely value the space saved over finding something that doesn't have those two issues, and getting something for under $100 was a definite bargain. I haven't tried using the SD or USB inputs, which are not particularly useful for me. Nor have I tried the microphone inputs, which are not particularly necessary for me, but may be nice for some individuals that want an karaoke setup on the cheap. One other note: the included FM antenna is just a thin wire. It was totally acceptable, but for under $10 you can add a much better antenna and get far superior sound. I really wasn't looking for an FM tuner when I was searching for this product, but it's actually been a nice additional benefit in my office to use, so I'm pleased with that feature.

Good value unit for the features provided
Limited channels left on my mixer, this has additional inputs RCA that give me a few more inputs. The sound quality is decent for FM, the antenna worked ok in my area, i purchased another antenna to get better reception. Bluetooth works fine, I am usually near the unit when using bluetooth. The 1/8" input in the front worked out great to connect my laptop when I need to hear things from it. The LCD screen is easy to read. The FM station selection is a little annoying, you cannot punch in a station, it does a scan and saves any frequency it can lock into, including some that are not radio stations, just a lock on the frequency. You cannot punch in a station, hit scan fwd or back to get to the station you are looking for, if it has not locked into memory before, you need to move the antenna around and try to get it to lock. Instructions don't give to much info. That said, the price for a 1u receiver is great. It handles a lot of my needs at a reasonable price. The speaker outs are banana plugs so I had to purchase an adapter for 1/4." Has Bass and Treble adjustments plus two 1/4" microphone inputs with individual gains. Great to talk over music, a presentation, etc. a very versatile unit. The volume knob works fine to me, no sudden jumps, as you move up or down you can feel a little click at each interval. There is a cool blue light around the front of the volume knob which I like but if computer power adapters that light up when plugged in annoys you, this may do the same. You can always put black tape to cover it if it bothers you that much. I recommend the unit, works for me to listen to FM station and have a convenient volume control + BT, additional inputs and SD Card and USB at this price, a solid unit. PS, purchased a used unit previously and it was missing parts and didn't work as advertised, so there may be some quality control issues.

Very poor quality control ! would not recommend!
I would just like to say to start this off that I have purchased many pile products in the past which have had absolutely no problems whatsoever sound quality was great the actual quality was great and it wasn't as people say a piece of crap or a pile of crap. My experience this time was not so good. Upon arrival the package was completely fine I opened it up and the RCA connector for one of the inputs was completely hanging out of the device not that this is a deal-breaker so I went and hooked it all up to my machine used a different input and found that the subwoofer port did not work at all. After testing subwoofer on a different system it works fine so that told me that the port was no good once everything was all set up all speakers were hooked up and in place I tested it out and if this is 200 Watts I'll donate my kidneys there is no way this is 200 Watts I have had 50 watt amplifiers that have more power than this furthermore the signal-to-noise ratio was very high as there was a clear hum in the unit after I noticed this I unhooked everything completely put it back in the packaging and is being sent back for a total refund. Keep in mind this is not actual surround sound even though it does have rear end center speaker separately this is nothing more then a poor attempt at making a surround sound receiver. Although it cost a lot more than this one did I will more than likely be purchasing a Bose unit because of the quality factor and it goes through rigorous testing prior to release this did not have any quality control stamps on it anywhere it looked like 1980s quality. I would not recommend buying this as you will be dissatisfied now if this is used as a karaoke head without amplification this may actually work pretty decently for you but keep in mind you will need an amplifier to use this device. Now as for the positive factors of it the Bluetooth work really really well very easy to set up however when you turn the main power switch off you had to reset up the Bluetooth. The FM stereo in it worked absolutely fine without any issues it did have equalization functions built into it I believe there was 7 some of them sound okay some of them not. Overall I'm giving this a 2-star rating because primarily due to the quality and lack of quality control on this actual unit had there been more quality control or any quality control they would have caught the simplest of problems with this unit and not wasted my time. I hope this review helps clarify any misinformation that may be out there in regards to this actual unit.

Its fine BUT do not use this on high end speakers!
I know this company's reputation is low quality products that work just enough for a low cost. This receiver is no different, it functions fine and sounds fine but it comes with low end build quality. There is a pop through the speakers when turning it on and a slight humming through the speakers, its not loud but just enough to hear when no media is playing. I would suggest to only run this receiver on mid to low tier speakers, it will not do any justice for high end speaker sets, if you care about real sound quality you would want a much higher quality receiver.. High quality in the home audio world is $500+ for a receiver, of course do your own research. I got my unit through the amazon used market because in my opinion its worth around $50 bucks tops, paying full price for this thing new at $90 to $100 dollars is not a good deal at all, my unit came in like new condition with original box with remote and antenna, only downside to my unit was when i got it the main right channel wasn't working, i literally slapped the top of the receiver and it fixed it so its a poor connection internally, but you get what you pay for. This receiver works fine enough for my personal liking, i recommend getting it BUT only if you just need something simple to power some garage speakers or computer speakers. I personally like it has external dials to do basic adjustments and the bluetooth works great. The subwoofer out connection is just a passive connection, this receiver does not have an active crossover network, just a basic 2 band EQ Bass and Treble, so run a powered subwoofer and use the crossover on that to set your lowpass. It does have 6 preset EQ settings, normal, pop, rock, jazz, classic, country but nothing more. As for the surround sound connections and Karaoke connections don't even bother with that... The so called "surround sound" connections are just internal passive connections to the main channels and not on its own active crossover so there won't be actual real surround sound, its pretty much just more terminals to connect more speakers.. and the karaoke side is for high power pro audio speakers because you will just blow out your normal speakers if you talked through them with a microphone, there is a microphone gain knob to adjust it better and it functions fine, but still a useless setting.

This is the best audio receiver. I did a lot of research and came here from onkyo
This is by far the best audio receiver you can get. I was coming from onkyo and not only are they big, bulky and complicated this is the best. Trust me. It’s inexpensive and so versatile. I love that it has Bluetooth as well as all of the other modes and inputs! I can’t believe it’ll play from usb drive and SD card and you can actually view the files from the screen. It’s much cleaner with a classy blue backlighting that really looks great. I connected my Sirius xm tuner to it as well so it sounds great with all of my primary and surround sound speakers. Absolutely the best. Trust me. I came here to Pyle from onkyo. Much better

A Great Receiver for A Great Price
(second review) For the price, this amazing product is well worth the purchase. I like Pyle. I used a 5-disk changer for years; when it went out, I got this receiver to play songs in a continuous fashion. With the remote, a person can keep mp3 files in folders and change from folder to folder, leaving a single folder or all songs on repeat, and the remote has a pause button that works well. 'If' you are into singing with songs, especially with someone else, it may be a lot of fun for you. I never used the mic inputs, and the mp3 playback abilities took me a few days to figure, yet it worked great. I am into audio and song recording and usually will leave a folder of new tracks on repeat to consider what may be best to do with them or future experimental tracks. The bluetooth does connect well and there are other inputs, as seen in the product description. I did not take the time to register the item the first time I bought it six months ago and 'mistakingly' wired a four-speaker circuit that burned out a resistor and a capacitor within the receiver. My mistake and I do not recommend someone opening the enclosure without at least an intermediate knowledge of electronics - capacitors that store over 24 volts are potentially lethal and a life risk should not be taken lightly. That being said, the receiver worked so well during its first time around that I ordered the same product and am joyous that it was still available. If it had a record to mp3 function I would consider the PDA7BU even more impossible to surpass with what I could find on the market, especially with the dual mic inputs that have an echo knob. I also recommend the Dual speakers that are usually showed at the bottom of the Amazon product page along with the banana plugs and thick-gauge speaker wire. It is fun to assemble - the larger of the two options of the dual speakers present a deep boom totally worth the money, even when turned down low. I did not opt for the subwoofer and was not tempted too; if you get the Dual speakers, notice the 'label' on the front can be adjusted to vertical or horizontal, they can be laid on a shelf or mounted well in otherwise fashion. I totally appreciate a product with that much ability for its cost and simplicity. Do not let it frustrate that the flashdrive will only play mp3s from a drive and is not a 'decoder,' if the term is close. As in, if you have a pedometer that plays mp3s and can communicate with a usb cable the receiver will not play mp3s by selection of the songs from a player. The inputs can receive audio as described in the product description - it worked fine with a 5-disk changer input into female rca ports. If you plan to hook up more than two speakers with it, which I really see no point in, be sure to contact Pyle and confirm the manner of installation before hand for safety and durability reasons. It is a sleek receiver, thin and able to be mounted in a sturdy fashion with the metal brackets that come with the device. There are many receivers; I chose this one twice. :) Thank you to Pyle, and get one if you can to else. The one drawback, short not being able to record or having a headphone/aux out is the bright display not being able to be dimmed. Do not look at it for long amounts of time within under six feet or so - there is nothing wrong with using 'matte' tape (the 'dull, not see-through-shiny-Christmas-wrapping-tape-yet-still-see-through-and-common-tape') on the front of the led screen (as one can do with a common led bulb) to have a less detrimental display. There is also nothing wrong with painting a spot on the top of the remote with white-out and putting a piece of tape on top of it in order to see the orientation of the remote quickly within dim lighting (worked well for me). If you purchase this product, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did; I had to make do without it for a few weeks. With one flash drive, I can select from at least 500 songs; there is not much of a reason to get a flash drive with more than 8 or 16 gigs. I recommend ScanDisk flash drives Only; Do not format the flash drive if you opt for that route. Over all, the PDA7BU is my favorite home audio receiver. (first review) Shopping to replace a 5-disk changer took me months. I found a 3-disk changer and it went out in 40 days, so I got a 5-disk that was the changer only (no speakers). Of course, I would also need an amp and speakers, so I shopped on Amazon extensively for a good deal on a good one and found what I was looking for. It is great for hooking up a CD player, Bluetooth, and rca in/TV; I use it mostly for playing mp3s. It does well to play from a flash drive with mp3s in folders and can be left on repeat. For the price, I simply cannot complain and wonder if anything else could have compared. The speakers I got with it hit hard enough, (Dual Electronics: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00081NX5U/) even though I keep it turned down. The remote has pause, volume, and other controls for radio and mp3. This is an awesome product and I have appreciated its abilities. Thank you Pyle and Amazon.
