As a poor man's KVM, I use two "KOOFIT HDMI Switch Splitters" to swap my monitors between 3 different computers, but my computers were shifting my windows around every time I switched.Now that I've placed 6 of these (2 monitors x 3 computers) on the input side of the switch, the computer acts normally and my windows stay where they were. No more flashing and flickering either. These are a miracle.

I have a few systems hooked up to a HDMI splitter attached to a single monitor. If I reboot any of those systems, they won't display video unless they are the ones currently displaying on the monitor from the switch. I picked up a few of these to make them think they are always active. Unfortunately, they came up blank on boot. I tried this with 3 different monitors I had on hand along with various HDMI cables and 2 different computers. I removed the HDMI switch when troubleshooting and did direct connections to the monitor from the PCs in my troubleshooting. The only way I could get them do display anything was by booting without them attached and then plugging them in afterwards. However, same problem of a blank screen came back after a reboot. Ended up returning them as they didn't work for me. These probably work with some specific setups, but they didn't work for mine.

Great product

Like many others, I assume; I had trouble getting a 4k 60hz display on my TV as a monitor. Windows would boot into 4k 30hz, but let me change it to 60hz. Linux would come up in 4k 30hz, but NOT let me change it. This device does indeed override the monitor edid info and allow me to select 4k 60... er 59.94hz, not 60.00.Toying around with it I realized that if I set my monitor as stretch to fit, and then selected 1440p, it sort of worked. Looked fine other than some off colors that I could clean up with a color profile. This TV isn't supposed to support 1440p, but now it does.Now... will it last? I don't know.

Bought this in an attempt to get the PS5 to output 1440/1080 120hz to my LG 1440p 144hz monitor. Unfortunately, the PS5 is still not happy and will not output the 120hz.Build quality is decent and it does output 4k 60hz or 1440p 120hz on my PC, just did not work for my use case.

Unfortunately these didn't work for me. I have a pair of 4K monitors on a non-EDID KVM so I bought these for my MacBook Pro to deal with app window placement issues. When I plug these in my Mac doesn't see the full range of scaled resolutions - only a small set of options, all of which look bad. These don't copy then mirror the EDID data from my monitors, instead they show up as "Woieyeks" monitors.

This Woieyeks EDID emulator is a must-have if you're dealing with HDMI connection issues. It solved the display problems I was having with my KVM switch instantly. Picture quality remains excellent. Plug and play, no hassle. Highly recommend for anyone experiencing similar issues!

I had issues with my Kubuntu 22.04 setup with a USB adapter. When I would switch the monitor inputs, or turn off my screen, switching back of turning back on would make the system go nuts. Putting these in-line, those issue have been pretty much resolved.

well made and reasonably priced but did not pass-through any signal at all ! Just a blank display. maybe it works okay in some instances but not for me. Cannot recommend this

Funciona bien con windows 10 4k, en laptop si quieres cerrar la tapa tienes que elegir con windows + P solo pantallas extendidas, con windows 11 no se si es por la tarjeta grafica pero tenia un sobreado de colores en 4k le tuve que bajar la resolucion a 2560*1440 y ya se ve bien.
