they come separately, and it's not supposed to mount on a wall, you would not able to interact with the coloful liquid if they were applied on a wall

I don’t think you would want to glue it down. Unless you glued it to a board of some kind.

these tiles are not illuminant, so you can't see them in a dark room

Yes. But they work better on a hard surface such as wood, laminate, or tiles.
