do I use the oil every night or less frequently

We would recommend using M-Folia Scalp oil about 3 times per week. There is no harm in using it every time you plan to wash your hair though if you find that it soothes the scalp. It is important that the shampoo you use to wash the oil out does not contain Sodium Laurel Sulphate (SLS) as this is a chemical that dries and irritates the skin and it could undo all the benefits of the scalp oil treatment. Our shampoo does not contain SLS and there are other shampoos that you can buy that also do not contain SLS but please check the products that you have in your bathroom. Even Johnsons Baby Shampoo contains SLS. As an industrial strength chemical, SLS is used in clinical trials to irritate the skin in order to test immolients. We would strongly recommend avoiding it in all foaming products including toothpaste. We recommend keeping the Scalp Oil on the scalp for no less than 15 minutes and possibly overnight with a cap on or towel on your pillow if possible at least once a week.Please ask if you have have any further questions about M-Folia products.
