These are Very hard to get on - the 4th panel doesn't slide even when it is not around a post. I just spent 20 minutes on one, and finally got both sides of the 4th panel in the tracks and could slide it down. Have done one on my mailbox, really frustrating but finally on, one of 3 successful on my pergola and I've got to rest now and regroup. They are going to be effective once on I am sure, but getting them to slide on, ugh

My whole neighborhood has 6 x 6 mail box posts that really are 6 x 6These shields look great, should be easy to assemble but won’t fit on a real 6” post

This was a little hard to install. With the tap of a hammer, the pieces went together. I hope it lasts through the weather of ice and heat. I will be happy not to have beat up posts from the weed-eater

I needed to cover the bottom of my mailbox since we have a wooden post that was getting eaten up by the weedeater. I received this very quickly and put it on the minute I got it out of the box. It was very easy to slide the four pieces into place, took maybe 5 minutes tops, and now I no longer have to worry about my post crashing down. So far it's not even showing any scratches and we've used the weedeater 3 times since we got this.

I bought two of these for the two 4x4 posts in my yard...one is used to keep our water hose from being dragged through a flower garden…the other is to protect our lamp post from trimmer and mower damage. These were easy to snap on and feel pretty solid. It’s too soon to assess durability. If they eventually loosen I’ll just drive a white screw into each side…

I've installed the post protector without any problems, but it is too soon to tell how durable the protector is.

This product protects the base of my deck posts from my weed eater line damaging the wood.

These are to protect your post but I bought them for a different reason. To make my house look amazing.I bought 6 of these for my posts on my pergola. When they cut the posts, they cut 4 the incorrect size and 2 the correct size.So the builder said they would fix them. After waiting 2 months I did a search and found these.We don’t have anything this good in Australia. I was happy to pay the money for these as they were modern and thought they would suit my house.As you can see they look amazing. The builders came around and asked me where I got them as they have never seen anything like them here in Australia.
