I've owned two of these and probably used them long after I should have carried on but never had any issues. When my first one finally started to wear down and I felt i had had it way longer than I should safely still be using it, I replaced it. They go on very easily and hold pretty well but I am not a knowledgeable person when it comes to makeup and like it most for its functionality. The twisting action which exposes more of the stick as its worn down is wonderful - easily preserves the product itself from breaking and means I don't have to sharpen a normal pencil for precise application. The liner isnt waterproof and i find it can smudge over a long day, but I also don't use any primers or setting products which might help with that (Assuming you use those for eyeliners anyway).

So pleased I discovered I could get this makeup line on Amazon. Essence have some lovely eyeliner colours not to mention they are smudge resistant. I chose this brand as I have used it for many years, and there are few to equal it at a reasonable price.

Best eye pencil I’ve had, love the softness and the twist up element. Lucky lead is a lovely colour a bit softer than black .

The colour is good, shape and size ofthe pencil good. Found this pencil difficult to apply, the texture was soft at first then went hard, broke quite frequently after a time.

Essence an absolute value for money , love the colour, easy to apply because of its softness. it lasts about 5-6 hours without smudging, after you can see little speckles or grey under the eye, however I don’t mind I love it
