I wanted a simple caliper to help with my 3D print modelling to get accurate sizes for items I wanted to create. This is working perfectly for my requirements. I had seen so many that were just flimsy and felt like they would break easily, this doesn't feel like that. I feels quite sturdy. The display makes reading the size of items you are measuring really easy, especially if you have poor eyesight as the display is large enough to read. It also has the measurements on the tool itself if you prefer to use that or if the battery for the display has failed. It comes with a spare battery for the display, so this just increases the value for money. It also comes in a plastic case that can be used to protect the caliper from damage while you are not using it. On use you should just check to make sure that the starting value is 0. If it isn't reading 0 when it is fully closed then there is a button on the display to reset the 0 point. There is a second button on the caliper to switch between inches or millimeters.

I bought the Kynup Digital Caliper for a few precision jobs around the workshop — mostly for woodworking and model builds — and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with it. For the price, it’s easily one of the best bits of measuring kit I’ve used in a while. The build quality is surprisingly solid. It’s made from stainless steel and feels reassuringly sturdy in the hand without being overly heavy. The slide movement is smooth and precise, and it holds its position nicely once you set it, so you’re not having to re-zero or second guess your readings. The large LCD screen is one of the standout features. It’s bright, easy to read, and gives results instantly in either mm, inches or fractions — a simple button press lets you switch units depending on what you need. As someone who works with both metric and imperial depending on the job, this flexibility is a big plus. Accuracy-wise, it’s been spot on. I’ve checked it against known reference objects and it’s come in dead accurate every time. The ability to zero the measurement at any point is also really handy when doing step measurements or internal comparisons. One small detail I really liked is the auto-off function. It saves battery life by shutting off when not in use, but switches back on quickly when you move it again. You also get a spare battery included, which is a thoughtful touch and something a lot of manufacturers overlook. It also comes with a durable plastic case that keeps the caliper protected and clean when not in use. Everything fits in snugly and it’s easy to store on a shelf or in a toolbox. Only small niggle is that it’s not waterproof, so you’ll want to avoid using it in damp or very dusty environments. That said, for general use it’s brilliant, and with a bit of care it’ll last for years. In summary, the Kynup Digital Caliper punches well above its weight. Being a diy freak I have an excellent understanding for the tools and the prescription tools where the accuracy is everything all about I have always owned a caliper for the prescription measurements I am not totally disappointed with this measurement tool it does make readings almost accurately but all such previous callipers I am not all fully satisfied since I owned one totatt built of steel although that is not this Big and clear LCD screen still in excellent working condition after over more than 15 years and still didn't need not to change the battery My main concern is the plastic and steel mixture without the sliding wheel which is generally a standard for all such measurement tools I am not all too much satisfied with the construction materials my previous callipers was lost in helping a friend fixing his car fuel lid cover I had to but it since he bought a brand new Toyota car which had his fuel lid got broken and me being a diy freak I offered him to bring his car which took couple of rivits and the holes for the screw needed the accurate measurements I am not fully satisfied with its material construction it lacks the sliding wheel and the drilling holes to get the rivits to be fastened although I managed to fix his issue even with this callipers but the full steel construction could have been a better choice to replace my lost caliper I can give it 5 stars for the accuracy But I am afraid that the quality doesn't match to the satisfaction although full steel ones are also available at Amazon choices which is almost double the price I may recommend if you have multiple usese for the calliper I should have bought the full steel one with the sliding wheel Please review other reviews before you hit the buy now button Stay blessed Dr Hameed faheem

The item is of a good quality, and is easy to use. It comes in a plastic case for storage. It is obvious that it's carbon fibre due to the weight. Carbon fibre may not last as long as a steel tool but for the price (below £9.00) it's very good value for money. I would recommend this product.

Really impressed with this caliper. The screen is big and easy to read, the buttons feel decent, and the measurements have been spot‑on for my prints and small hardware checks. Swapping between mm and inches is instant, and it zeroes cleanly without fuss. It’s not a premium metal‑body tool, but for everyday use it’s accurate, reliable, and way better than I expected at this price.

I was planning on returning these as the readout was wrong and showing half measurements (ie. at 50mm the display shown 25mm) and the mm/in button to switch between measurements wasn’t working. But after removing the battery and leaving it out for 30seconds and reinserting, it reset the device and all works well. For the price they’re really good. The ‘carbon fibre’ one (pretty sure it’s plastic) feels a bit delicate but the accuracy and ease of use are great after the battery reset.

If you're looking to get an accurate reading of "Is it closer to 1.5mm or 2mm" then these are fine. If you need even the advertised precision of 0.2mm+- then I would look elsewhere, these are always -0.1 to -0.3 when I put them back to 0 so they are not keeping their zero correctly. For £10? Sure whatever, if I stood on them and broke them I would even be mad.

Die Schiebelehre ist für den Preis mehr als okay. Ist gut verarbeitet und sehr genau. Sie kommt in einer Kunststoffverpackung und ist daher auch schnell aufgeräumt und kann nicht kaputt gehen. Hatte vorher eine andere diese war aber leider sehr ungenau und von der Qualität kein Vergleich zu dieser. Ich kann sie mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und würde mich über einen Klick auf "nützlich" freuen

Much better than my HF plastic one. Solid metal construction and seems very accurate. Used to measure for 20mm watch band and i just received the watchband and it fits perfectly so it did the job. Good solid case to store it in as well. You wont be disappointed

Au top, précis, super lisible, après 8 mois s allume toujours aussi bien, utilisé pour mesurer les pieces après impression, 3d, et le delta à déduire me permet de corriger très justement mes plans si je dois réimprimer, donc fait son job, mécaniquement se tient et peu de choses résiste pour le manuel que je suis, je recommande particulièrement ce produit pour un en avoir un plus cher que je délaisse au profit de celui ci, transport et délais ok, emballage boîte transparente utile car reste a l abri de l air humidité poussière et quand on le cherche c est bien pratique de pouvoir le trouver sous la main, je recommande particulièrement, merci Amazon 👍 🥳

Holy smokes. This thing is amazing value. Don't change the price, don't change the product. The engineers nailed it, and the price is fair for both parties. This has substantial heft in the hand, is made of what appears to be good quality stainless steel, appears to be very accurate and sturdy without slop. It also came with a hard plastic case with adjustment screwdriver and two replacement batteries. I am pleasantly surprised with this purchase.

Dopo un anno di utilizzo (nemmeno intenso!) tenuto sempre nella sua custodia, nella cassetta degli attrezzi, lo schermo non si accende più nemmeno cambiando la pila. Peccato: è un giocattolo!
