Does a good job with my Parmesan

Great product! I've gone through two of the official Microplane brand graters (which are twice the price), but both have broken with the blade coming away from the frame after about two years. This grater by comparison feels much stronger, and the blade doesn't bent inwards when you're grating something hard like parmesan. The gratings are perhaps not quite as fine, but definitely more than adequate. It's sharp, robust and fantastic value for money.

Die Käsereibe bzw. Zestenreibe ist ein richtig praktisches Küchenwerkzeug, das im Alltag schnell unverzichtbar wird. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, die Edelstahl-Reibefläche angenehm scharf und sorgt für sehr feine Ergebnisse – egal ob bei Parmesan, Zitronenschale oder anderen Zutaten. Besonders positiv fällt die etwas breitere Bauform im Vergleich zu vielen klassischen Zestenreiben auf. Dadurch lässt sich deutlich komfortabler arbeiten, und gleichzeitig wird die Verletzungsgefahr reduziert, weil man mehr Auflagefläche und Kontrolle hat. Der Griff liegt gut in der Hand und gibt einen sicheren Halt, auch bei längerer Nutzung. Praktisch ist zudem die mitgelieferte Schutzabdeckung, und die Spülmaschineneignung erleichtert die Reinigung spürbar. Insgesamt eine durchdachte, sichere und leistungsstarke Reibe – klare 5 Sterne.
