I only use fram oil filters because they fit perfect in my car. The grip is just right. It's super easy to remove. I'm sure it helps with the engine performance. This filter is 100% compatible with my vehicle.

Dont write reviews generally. But just thought that this product gives you value for money. I changed oil on a friends vehicle, the previous oil change had been done at a shop & they used "puralator" brand filter. Not bad but it wasn't easy to remove. Why?, if one is changing the oil, one is wearing some gloves and may have some oil on the gloves even after wiping ones hands taking the filter off by hand sometimes isn't easy. This filter has a nice coating that gives you good grip and makes it possible to remove the filter easily without requiring another tool.

Fram has been my choice for oil filters for years. Remember if you use synthetic oil buy a filter designed for use with synthetic oil. I will quit driving when I can no longer change my oil. The quick-change oil businesses buy their filters in bulk for pricing and are not nominally for synthetic oil just general use, they work just not for 20K miles.

The manufactured packing carton was almost damaged & no sealed protection for the filter element which makes easy to be polluted with dust or any foreign particles.It smell like kerosene. I will not order again.

I have been buying these FRAM Ultra Synthetic oil filters for our Ford Fusion (2011) for a few years now, as opposed to OEM, and I’m really impressed! Based on my research at the time, the filtration performance is top-notch, providing excellent protection for my engine. It is designed for use with synthetic oils, which gives me peace of mind for longer oil change intervals. In fact I normally change my oil and filter once a year since I do not drive much (e.g. <10k). But the last time around I only changed the oil and left the filter on since it's rated for 20,000 MILES which is ~32,000 KM. The installation is always straightforward, and the build quality feels robust and durable. In the past few years using these on all our vehicles, I did not notice any difference in engine performance compared to OEM. Overall, I can recommend these filters.

I always go for this filter since its readily available at my local store. I bought it here since it was cheaper at the time. Its a good investment for synthetic oil and usually the filter will go bad first before the oil so quality is a must. The coated grip on the end is a bonus so a filter wrench is not needed. The box should always be sealed but the one I received was open so it was a minor disappointment. The filter itself looks unused so its all good.
