I've been really happy with this coat rack. It's nice and slim, so it doesn't take up much space, but it's still very sturdy. We use it every day, and it's often loaded up with multiple coats and bags at the same time without any issues. Even when it's carrying more than you'd expect, it remains stable and does the job well. It looks good, was easy to put together, and has been a great addition to our entryway.

Its easy to build, but the bottom of the pole doesn't have sticks unless you tinker some positions. What balances the rack are 3 sticks and that could lead to some tilt if you just put heavy coats or clothes on one side only otherwise its pretty well balanced. Usually even numbers of supports are the move but this is just fine too.

Very lightweight, came in a shoebox sized box. Multiple sized pine dowels that screw into each other, very easy to put together. Takes maybe 15 minutes. It is very lightweight, and I do worry about the durability of the dowels that hold coats because they are quite light. I wouldn't doubt they may need replacing at some point, however it shouldn't be hard to find a similar piece of hardware store. For the cost, I'm happy with it. It gets my jackets and cardigans off the couch and has a clean but old school look to it. It's holding a couple of purses and a couple of jackets right now without any wobbling.

Overall, I’m happy with this coat rack, but there are a few important things to know before purchasing. The height is really nice — tall enough to comfortably hang winter coats without them dragging or bunching up. Assembly was extremely quick and simple. It was basically just a few turns of the wooden pieces into the screws, and I had it fully assembled in less than six minutes. I did notice that on hardwood or laminate flooring it slid a bit, especially during assembly. If you plan to use it on hard flooring, placing a small rug or carpet underneath makes a big difference and helps keep it from sliding. I ended up moving mine to a carpeted area, and it feels much sturdier and more secure there. One thing I genuinely like is the number of arms and knobs it has. There’s plenty of space to hang multiple coats, jackets, or accessories, which is great for households with more than one person. However, the placement of the pre-drilled holes for the hooks is a bit frustrating. Some hooks end up covering others when installed, even though there’s clearly space where they could have been positioned to avoid overlap. This doesn’t make the rack unusable, but it does limit how efficiently you can use every hook. Additionally, the holes where you screw the pegs or knobs in are kind of weird. You have to push in while you’re screwing them in, and it can seem like they’re not going in right or not aligned correctly. But honestly, they do go in fine after a bit of adjustment. There are also two hooks that are extremely low. Realistically, nothing adult-sized will hang there without touching the floor. A toddler jacket might work, but that wasn’t my intention when purchasing this rack. Those hooks feel more like wasted space, and honestly, if those weren’t included or were placed higher, the design would be much better. Functionally, though, it does what it’s supposed to do. Right now, I have three heavier winter jackets and a raincoat hanging on it, and it’s holding up well with no wobbling on carpet. One tip I’d suggest: if you have coats with the fabric loop near the tag, hang those first. Then hang the coats that don’t have loops over them so everything stays put and doesn’t slide off. Price-wise, it works, but a couple of dollars cheaper would feel more appropriate considering the lower hooks that can’t really be used. That said, despite a few design quirks, I still bought it, set it up, and am actively using it — which says a lot. If you’re placing this on carpet, or adding a small rug underneath on hard floors, and need a coat rack that can handle multiple jackets while still looking nice, this one does the job. Just be aware of the hook placement and flooring type so you know exactly what you’re getting.
