Must buy for espresso fans
I've been using this for over 6 months now and absolutely love it. I set it to fine grinding when I grind the beans for espresso. It takes much longer to do this fine grind but the powder is super smooth and not warm. I also grind for the French press with this and that finishes in a jiffy. Very easy and intuitive to use. Easy to clean too. Works fine for over 6 months now.

Looks to be excellent value for money
I have been using a WPM grinder for last few years. I got it along with a KDE 310 espresso machine ( both used ) Am still learning with both. So this is an amateur review The Agaro grinder looks to be quite good for a home user. Because I got it today and haven’t brewed a coffee yet, can’t offer any comments on that. The packing is excellent, and the design looks good too. It’s intuitive. I don’t store beans in the hopper. In fact when you have a grinder I makes better sense to grind well stored beans just before use. I am also a coffee roaster and concerned about my beans aging too quickly ( and storing in a hopper isn’t appealing!) A light roast bean grinds different form a medium roast, and as it goes darker the results change too. As does the flavor of the coffee when we change the burr gaps. Also taste is quite personal. What one likes may not be all that exciting or maybe even disliked by another If spare burrs and after sales service are available, I think this will be a good entry level grinder. And as one goes along his or her journey into coffee, when the time comes, one can decide to go higher then ☕️ Update on July 10,2023: I have used the grinder a few times. It is easy to clean. I also like the fact that retention of coffee is very low. Almost minimal. Maybe less than a gram even at the finest espresso setting. One negative, nothing bad, just a minor nuisance, is that each time you switch on, it goes to a default 10 sec. And the maximum is 40 sec. So you can’t run it continuously. It may be an intentional design element to avoid overloading the motor. Another fault would be the short cord length. A bare minimum so there is no way you can keep it at length past other devices. This too isn’t a functional fault, a nuisance rather. The hopper lid locks in but easily wobbles off. So does the grinds container. But I don’t mind either. Because I weigh in the beans and catch the grinds in a small steel tumbler. Anyway, after two weeks of use, I am okay and happy.

Fabulous Grinder - for the price.
When I said fabulous it comes with a giant caveat of the price it is being sold at. Under 6K INR (~$70) you cannot expect anything great. Important thing is does it punch above it's weight? Sure does and hemce the 5 stars. Without a doubt that for everyrhing other than espresso this will help you up your coffee game. Have tried grinding for Aeropress, French press, drip machine, mocha pot and cold brew. All gave flawless results. (You need to dial grind size not just go by whats marked on the machine) Now for espresso. I use two machines a Gaggia Espresso evolution and a Nespresso pod machine (Cofeezza) with Madama reusable pods. I have to use the finest setting 1 for both. Results on the nespresso pod are very acceptable. But you are drawing 30 gm of liquid from 5 gm of coffee so the coffee it is what nespresso is and i would compare it to results from standard indian pods. On the Gaggia, with the pressurised basket, I get a decent espresso. Pulls a tad too quickly about 18 secs. Is nice enough for making lattes or cappucinos but for an espresso or americano i need more. When using a non pressurised basket on grind setting 1 i can get a really good espresso with darker roasts. A very sour underextracted coffee pours from light or medium roasts. In summary. Perfect for everyrhing except espresso. While on espresso you are ok if using pressurised baskets or dark roasts. Super for nespresso reusable pods ..

Not for espresso!!!! For Brew coffee only!
A key determinant of a good espresso is the grind efficiency. You should be able to extract an espresso in 20-30 seconds in a 2:1 ratio or 2.5:1 ratio. If you put 18 grams of ground coffee you should get 36 to 45 grams of liquid out in a span of 20-30 seconds. This is by default a good espresso. If the time is less than 20s the shot tastes sour as it is under-extracted, if the time is more than 30s it tastes bitter as it is over-extracted. Any new coffee bean should be dialled into the espresso machine. This process is done by testing different grind levels to make sure that you get your shot in 20-30 s. The Agaro machine does not have the refinement to get fine coffee grounds. At grind level of 4, I got the espresso shot in 15-16 sec and on increasing the fineness of grind to 3 it took more than 50 seconds. There is nothing between 3 and 4. This is a typical problem of cheap stepped grinders and the main reason I cannot recommend this machine to anyone. The advantage of this grinder is that it is cheap. Period. At this price point, it gets you your swill. It is a perfectly OK grinder for less demanding methods like brew, french press, etc. If you want espresso (and cappuccino, mocha, latte, flat white etc. which are derivatives of espresso shots) this is not the machine for you. You are likely to waste money and end up buying a new more capable grinder (like me). Other advantages are that it has a timer and relatively low retention of coffee. But the main failure is in its (lack of) grinding capabilities.

Basic, workable grinder that suits most entry level machines & moka/drip
This is an unsponsored 5-month review. Pros: I had purchased the grinder in March, I have used it for home espresso, moka pot, aeropress and v60. It's produced workable grounds mostly, with the v60 it can produce slightly more fines that say a Baratza, however, it is not as bad as other grinders in the market for the price. Good thing is, with a few tweaks (search beguko grinder ifixit) you can grind espresso fine that suits most machines. I have not needed to do that however, as setting 2-3 works for my espresso machine. Coming from a hand grinder, this speeds up workflow by a big amount, mostly done with espresso in 12 minutes (bean to cup). Cons: It has a fair bit of retention, you'll need to clean the inside burrs at least once every two weeks. Also, it messes up sometimes, shows E2, however that gets fixed when I clean the burrs. Bottom Line: It is a cheap, workable grinder that seems to be aimed at people looking for relatively inexpensive alternatives to other automatic coffee grinders (Like the Baratza encore). I would say it does live upto the price you paid for it and can stand its own when compared to the encore. Do not buy it if you are using high end home espresso machines, it might not work for that. For usage with most entry level options, it works.

Attention all coffee nerds!
Step aside, morning grumpiness! The electric coffee grinder has stormed into my kitchen like a caffeinated superhero, grinding beans with the finesse of a dancing barista. It's like having a tiny DJ for my taste buds, dropping beats of freshly ground goodness. I thought I knew coffee, but this grinder just roasted my skepticism. It's so fast, it makes my old grinder look like it's stuck in a time warp. I half expect it to start breakdancing while it works. And let's talk about the noise – or lack thereof. My previous grinder sounded like a jet engine taking off in my kitchen. But this electric marvel is quieter than a librarian's sigh. I could almost have a civilized conversation with my pet parrot while it's grinding, if only he'd stop squawking about his bean obsession. Oh, did I mention the size? It's as compact as a squirrel's storage unit, which is fantastic for my limited countertop space. My old grinder was so bulky, it practically demanded its own zip code. But let's not forget the pièce de résistance – the grind control. This thing has more settings than a high-stakes poker game. From coarse to espresso fine, it nails them all. It's like having a coffee shapeshifter at my command. My mornings have transformed from blurry-eyed stumbling to a symphony of aroma and flavor. If I were any more impressed, I'd have to write a love song to this coffee grinder. So here's to you, electric coffee grinder, for turning my mornings from grinds to greatness! 🎉
