Works Great
Spending a lot of time on a bike can lead to painful chafing from the wrong saddle or bibs. Aquaphor is a useful product for me. Before a long ride, applying a layer of Aquaphor to areas prone to chafing is helpful. Because it is thick, a small amount is sufficient. It creates a protective barrier that reduces friction for hours. This results in a more comfortable ride with less skin irritation. Aquaphor can also treat already irritated areas. Applying a thin layer after showering can make a noticeable difference by the next morning. It soothes and promotes faster healing than other balms and creams. While some sources suggest that petroleum-based products may damage the chamois fabric in shorts over time, applying it directly to the skin has shown no issues for me. I’m also using chamois cream. The fact that it is fragrance-free and for sensitive skin is an added benefit. Aquaphor is a cost-effective, multi-purpose ointment that works better than high-priced specialty products. Looking at the ingredient list, it appears to be the same formula as the adult variant.

Great for Sensitive Kids’ Skin
I bought this Aquaphor for my child and it works really well. It keeps the skin moisturized and helps a lot with dry and irritated areas. It’s gentle, fragrance-free, and perfect for sensitive skin. We use it for dryness, chafing, and even chapped lips. I would definitely buy it again.

Lifesaver for Baby Rashes – Gentle and Effective!
As a mom, I’ve tried a dozen products for my baby’s sensitive skin, and Aquaphor Healing Ointment is by far the most effective — especially for pacifier rash and diaper rash. My baby developed redness and irritation around his mouth from constant pacifier use, and within one day of applying Aquaphor, I noticed a huge improvement. It creates a protective barrier without being too thick or sticky, and I love that it’s fragrance-free and safe for delicate skin. For diaper rash, it's become our go-to. I apply a thin layer at each diaper change, and it helps prevent and soothe irritation — even during teething or after a bad reaction to a new brand of wipes. It spreads easily, wipes off without scrubbing, and doesn’t cause any discomfort when applied. I also love that one tub lasts forever, since you only need a small amount. Highly recommend for all parents — it's gentle, reliable, and a must-have for your diaper bag or nursery.

Thick, gentle ointment that keeps my toddler’s skin soft, protected, and rash-free.
I’ve been using Aquaphor Children’s Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment on my toddler’s chapped skin and lips, and it’s been a lifesaver. The ointment is thick but absorbs well, protects against dryness, and really helps minor cuts and cracks heal faster. It’s gentle, high-quality, and I don’t worry about using it daily.

Saved Our Newborn's Skin
We tried this after traditional diaper creams (Desitin and its Equate knock off) failed to stop our newborn's worsening diaper rash. Aquaphor is now what we use for every diaper change; it eventually cleared up the initial rash, by giving baby's skin opportunity to heal between diaper changes, and now helps prevent rashes in the first place. Aquaphor, compared to diaper creams, is denser and seems to provide a less slippy, more sturdy barrier between baby's skin and the offending acidic poops. Yet it's still spreadable for good application (we use a diaper cream spatula; be sure to pick one that isn't too bendy, as Aquaphor is thicker than diaper cream). This is a lifesaver if your baby has worsening diaper rash. I would recommend this product to everyone. Use generously at every diaper change, on patted dry skin for best results. The lone downside is the price. Quite expensive compared to other products. Especially considering how much we go through.

Moisture and oily
It works well for dry skin, but it’s a bit thick and sticky. Still a good product if used at night.

Staple to have for winter skin protection
Came intact, no leakage. Great skin protectant for kids especially in the winter and for eczema patches. No skin reaction or irritation with this product and no scent. Have two or three tubs at home in different bathrooms at all times. I use it for my hands too.
