Good product!
Takes a minute to load, but definitely slows down my chowhound Lee. Works great, durable, good design. Lee is a medium sized dog, 40 pounds. Not sure this would hold enough for a bigger dog. Worth the money

Too easy, but enjoyable treat dispenser
My foster Australian Shepherd mix figured this toy out in about 60 seconds--I wanted to start easy so he wouldn't be discouraged but jokes on me lol. He's on a reduced calorie diet so it's nice that I can fill it with Cheerios, cut green beans, and smear tiny bits of peanut butter and sweet potato or pumpkin on the bottom of the flaps, and he still has a treat that takes some work to retrieve. Frozen would probably work well, too. The toy doesn't turn well with bigger bits of kibble or even broken biscuits, so it's somewhat limited use, but he seems to enjoy what I can smash in there, and it was an inexpensive experiment. Don't find it easy to detach the trays, but it's easily cleaned with my kitchen faucet sprayer and some dishwashing liquid.

Works like a charm and slows down feeding time!
This is the best! My puppies used to wuf down their food so fast and then almost throw up after! I was worried that the bigger puppy would eat most before the smaller one could get enough. This bowl provides not only a slower way to feed but a mind stimulating puzzle for them to figure out providing many sensory stimulations. They have to figure out the puzzle, it has different taste and textures, its visually pleasing (versus their plain old dog bowl), and has different smells! I like that it’s hard enough to last two puppies biting at it so it’s durable too. I can change up the fillings every time to keep them interested. This time I chose: their kibble, a few chewy treats mixed in, plain yogurt smashed with banana smeared on one underside, and peanut butter smeared on the other underside. I also broke up blueberries and dropped a little bit of yogurt in with the kibble. I would definitely recommend this product!

Great slow feeder! But wish it had a bottom grip that would actually work.
This bowl is actually brilliant. My dog an Australian Shepherd used to inhale his food in under 30 seconds — now it takes him a full 40 minutes to finish. We timed it. He gets so hyped when I pull it out, but by the end he’s fully exhausted. Tongue flopping, sprawled on the floor, like he just ran a marathon. We joke in his voice that his tongue is swollen and he’s been eating for what feels like five hours. In dog years, maybe it has been. But fair warning — it does not stay in place on its own on laminate flooring. If I don’t put a grippy mat or towel underneath, he ends up pushing it all over the kitchen like a Roomba on a mission. Design-wise, it’s easy to take apart and toss in the dishwasher. I also freeze it with yogurt, peanut butter, or bone broth sometimes to make it last even longer. This isn’t just a slow feeder, it’s a workout, puzzle, and post-meal nap machine. Total game-changer for fast eaters. Durable, and beautiful too!

One dog loves it! Pretty easy to rinse clean, a bit hard to separate the layers imho. Sturdy, fun
I rinse it clean without taking it apart, using the wide spray on the kitchen sink, because I find it difficult to take apart and put back together without making a mess. The fastener clip is small and hard to manipulate. However it rinses off pretty easily, you just have to spin each layer. (Use the gentle or wide spray to avoid water going everywhere. It easily holds about one 13oz can of dogfood. It takes about half a can to fill it enough to make it worth the dog's time imho. My 23lb corgi mix loves it. She can focuses on getting every lick out of every layer, and keeps her busy a while. It has helped her tremendously slow down on her meals and also provides enrichment and entertainment. 13 lb chihuahua mix is less thorough, he grabs what he can easily get, and cries for a refill! 10lb rescue chihuahua mix did not understand it at all and is much more toy motivated than food motivated, but he is a picky eater and did not need slowing down. So, for the purpose intended, slow down my vacuum-corgi mix dog, it's worked fantastic, and she also enjoys playing with it. Good for a dog who likes a challenge, or eats way too fast. I love that it doesn't tip over, she hasn't flipped it over yet with daily use. I've used it with both small dry kibble and wet food, works fine with both. It's easy to smear canned food onto it even if you don't take the layers apart. Doesn't need to be perfect, she's happy, I'm happy

Good for cats, too
I have a large Maine Coon cat who is able to manipulate (spin, flip) the upper tray of this puzzle feeder. It's actually a bit easy for him, but the point is to give him something to do, not prevent him from getting the food. When he can't get at what he wants, he sometimes tips the whole thing over (which is still using his brain to solve a problem). Bottom line, this is a good entry-level toy for a dog or cat. I do recommend putting it in a low box so that the food is contained. This saves you from cleaning up leftovers on the floor.

Too easy for my dog
The concept is great, and the quality of the toy is good, but it ended up being too easy for my dog. He figured it out almost immediately, so it didn’t provide as much mental stimulation as I was hoping for. My biggest complaint is that it’s a bit difficult to clean, especially when food gets into the grooves and layers. It takes more effort than some of the other enrichment toys we’ve used. Not a bad product, but it wasn’t the best fit for my dog. It may work better for slower-paced dogs or those new to puzzle feeders.

Works great!
My dog loves it, and it’s easy to wash! It spins easily and holds a serving for her, would probably hold a whole cup like advertised of smaller sized kibble. It feels really durable and has washed in the dishwasher well. I don’t notice it being loud over her noisy eating. It doesn’t slow her down as much as other feeders, but does add some enrichment to her meal

Labs love it
My Labs love this. Its good for fast eaters too. It fits about 1 cup of kibble in it. Comes apart easily for cleaning. If I could make one adjustment it would be for a better rubber bottom so it can be pushed around the floor as easily. Otherwise its a grear purchase I think all dogs show have.

Our dog loves it!
We are very pleased with this slowfeeder. It takes our golden almost 40 minutes to finish her meal. We fill it with her kibble and water and we put it in the freezer for the night. She absolutely loves it!
