This is darn near the perfect dashcam for the Ioniq 5. It was easy to install, including all the required cables and fitting into area under the rearview mirror mount perfectly. The included molded plastic cover looks like it came from the factory, making it very difficult to tell there's a dashcam. I have the 4K model and the video quality is great. I don't remember if the 4K+rearview was available when I bought it, but I wish I had it. Because it's specific to the Ioniq 5, it will probably not be moved to a new car, but that's okay; it will be a value-add to the next owner. Hopefully, Fitcamx will have a similar camera for whichever car I buy next.

This is a must have for this vehicle. SO much nicer than installing a typical dash cam as this blends in and looks stock. The camera housing dips below the stock housing and cuts off a little visibility of the driver's right view through the windshield, but it's not a big deal - at least for me. Video quality is very good as is the app. Installation took 20 minutes. Only feature I'd like to see added is GPS speed tracking. I do regret not getting the rear camera too.

The best! SIMPLE-and good app! Just remember when you want to view from phone shut off cellular data and if you have a wireless CarPlay set up like me-SHUT OFF Bluetooth. When you're done viewing current or past images on phone, or changing settings, turn bluetooth and cellular data back on. It WILL record. It's so clean looking vs the usual dash cam-Well worth it. Easy to install, app has been easy to use. Clean installation as if was OEM from the factory. Image quality is good.

Deleted one star due to installation being much more difficult than depicted in the videos. Those black covers are quite stiff and don’t come off easily. They each feel like they are going to break even though they were warm. It does come with a handy pry tool. The video also leaves out the small round cable, but it is obvious where it goes. . Once in, all went well. The camera can connect to only one download app at a time, so you should not have multiple phone apps trying to connect at one time. The unit provides a Wi-Fi signal for the app to configure the camera, format the 64gb drive and control various features. Finally, the Fitcamx store images to select the correct model for your car don’t link to the correct car. Someone at Amazon needs to verify that. I reported this to tech support, who is quite responsive, but they said they don’t deal with the store software.

Works great, plastics look and feel like the same quality as OEM. The app is easy to use. My only criticism is there is a blue light than flashes when it’s recording. Can be annoying if you drive at night. I put a small piece of tape over it to block the light. Would recommend to anyone who wants a factory looking dash cam on an ioniq 5.

After sending me the camera, the company informed me that it's not compatible with my 2024 Ioniq 5 sel as it is and they will send me an additional adapter. Weeks later the "adapter" arrived.... some type of cable that was absolutely unnecessary. The actual "manual" is terrible, describing something totally different than ioniq 5.. After instalation, the gimmick never connected to the wifi (I do have a dedicated eero for the garage). App is a joke as correctly reflected by the play store ratings. All the videos that I watched on YouTube were a paid promos. Lesson learned!

We had a small technical issue installing the camera, but the supplier sorted this out for me very quickly. Now the camera works great, installation was easy and it integrates extremely well in the vehicle. If you don't know it's there, you wouldn't even notice.

Hallo, ich habe die Kamera für unseren IONIQ5 (2022) bestellt, da es immer häufiger vorkommt, dass manche Verkehrsteilnehmer meinen, für sie gelten keinerlei Regeln. Wir möchten einfach in der Lage sein, im Ernstfall, dokumentieren zu können, wie, wann, was passiert ist. Die Kamera ist von sehr guter Qualität, der Einbau absolut unproblematisch, ich habe hierfür ca 10 Minuten benötigt. Bitte genau so vorgehen wie es auf dem Beipackzettel aufgezeigt ist, dann klappt es einwandfrei. Die Videos auf YouTube sind nicht unbedingt zielführend, hier wird unnötigerweise viel zu viel „rumgehebelt“, was man bei solchen Teilen lassen sollte. Die Kunststoffnasen werden es euch danken. 😉 SD ist auch, inklusive usb Adapter, dabei. Verbindung mit der App geht ebenso einfach. Der Kameranahme taucht in den Netzwerken auf, PW. eingeben, verbinden und los gehts. Einstellungen in der App machen, das war’s. Die aufgenommenen Videos kann man sich dann auf dem Handy anschauen und speichern. Das Teil sieht aus als sei es original so verbaut, kein Kabelgedöns, einfach klasse. Zur Lieferung aus China, absolut schnell, knapp 10 Tage, perfekt.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Von meiner Seite aus absolut zu empfehlen, vor allem wenn man keine Kabel quer durchs Auto verlegen möchte. Esta dashcam FitcamX es perfecta para el Ioniq 5 ya que se adapta completamente al vehículo sustituyendo la pieza de plástico que cierra la carcasa del espejo retrovisor. Tiene una app para controlarlo todo, incluyendo la resolución a la que quieres grabar (hasta 4K), si quieres que grabe sonido, etc. La instalación es bastante sencilla, al alcance de cualquiera con un mínimo mínimo de idea, y si no siempre encontrarás videos de youtube explicándolo. Es bastante cara, pero la calidad es buena. Si quieres la integración máxima con el vehículo es la dashcam a comprar.
