Thonapa 12 Gauge Extension Cord 10 Ft Outdoor - 12/3 Heavy Duty, 3 Prong

I bought this as an extension cord for my fast charging Jackery Portable battery. The battery sucks up 1600 or so watts to charge and lighter cords get to hot. This is definately heavy duty! Feels far more dependable that what my local stores sell. So far this has worked perfectly. It stays cool. And I actually like that the end lights up so I know when its drawing power.

This THONAPA 12 Gauge Heavy Duty Extension Cord appears to be very well made. I wanted a cord that was not made in China (package says made in Vietnam) and was UL Certified which this cord is. Considering this cord is 12 gauge it is very flexible and served my needs well. I would highly recommend this brand.

I'm not sure when it occurred, from manufacturer, amazon, or transit, but the cord itself had a thin layer of grease on the outside. this could be a normal process for heavy duty weatherproof cords, i wouldn't know, but just so potential buyers are aware that it's there! It doesn't impede any functions of the cord, nor does it leave residue on the floor, you can just feel it when you are spooling it out and in. But other than that one thing, it has been nothing but excellent, it has been in frequent use the past few months and it has shown zero signs of wear, no cord damage, no loose female connection, or any misshaped/bent prongs. I'd highly recommend this product and I will definitely be purchasing this product again when the need arises.

Since my review, I've been in contact with the seller who has generously assisted me and has provided a replacement. It was a pleasant experience. No fuss. Thank you, Thonapa!! I recommend giving them a try. (I bought this power cord because I needed a new outdoor one. Got it, but sadly set it aside until later and when I got around to using it, found that it is for indoor use only. That's not what the product description said, but the tag attached to the cord was very plain about it. Unfortunately I've missed the date to be able to return it. I would have loved to have been able to exchange it for an outdoor cord. That's on me. Now I have a rather expensive and useless cord. ~sigh~ Lesson learned. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR PURCHASE IMMEDIATELY.. I never dreamed that I'd end up with an indoor use only power cord.)

Cord was gently used and lasted 4 months before connection became intermittent.

Does the job well, I got this for our Ninja Woodfire (electric) Grill to use on our condo patio. Haven't had any issues with overheating despite the long and high power draw from grilling and smoking for long hours of the day.
