Excellent does the job

I’ve got this as a Christmas present for my mum to help her standing up from bed as she suffers from back pain due to an injury and I have to say, one of the best items I’ve ever bought. All instructions are easy to follow, and the light really helps if she wakes during nighttime, making her less afraid when she moves. I’m glad I got it for her and recommended it to anyone who has a loved one less able to move to get to up from bed safely.

This rail has helped a lot but beware you need some one who can lift your mattress to put the straps underneath to secure the rail.

A great rail assist for those who need it. A bit fiddly to fit but very secure when done.

A must for safely getting in and out of bed after surgery.

I got this for my mom to assist her in getting in and out of bed. It works just like I was hoping; she is able to get herself in and out of bed more easily and feels safer doing so. We have the light set to detect motion and it’s bright enough that she can navigate the room, but not so bright that it disturbs my dad. Assembly was easy and the only complaint I have is that the glow in the dark rubber band that goes on the handle doesn’t glow, even when I put it in the sun all day. I was worried that she might miss the handle without it, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue. Would highly recommend. Update (October 2023): we found after a few months that we were having to charge the motion sensor light every second or third day. The company sent out a replacement one and we’ve had no problems. They also sent out another glow in the dark band and, as I had mentioned we are considering buying a second one, also gave me a discount code. I have been so happy with this product and their customer service :-)

We recently purchased the Lunderg Large Bed Assist Rail with Motion-Activated Light and Storage Pouch for my father, and I have to say this is an excellent product backed by truly outstanding customer service. The bed rail itself is extremely sturdy, well designed, and provides a very secure feeling when getting in and out of bed. The larger 17.5" rail offers excellent support and stability, and the overall construction feels very high quality. Most importantly, it has given my father much greater confidence, comfort, and reassurance when transitioning in and out of bed, especially during the nighttime hours. The motion-activated night light is also a fantastic feature and works extremely well. I especially like that it offers two different brightness levels, allowing you to choose the amount of light that feels most comfortable. It provides excellent visibility at night without being overly bright or disruptive to sleep. The attached storage pouch is another thoughtful addition and is very convenient for keeping essentials nearby such as a phone, remote, glasses, medications, or other personal items. Another thing I appreciated was how easy the unit was to assemble and install. Once set up, the frame felt very stable and secure alongside the bed without shifting or feeling flimsy. What impressed me equally as much as the product itself was the level of customer care provided by Lunderg. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they genuinely showed professionalism, kindness, and commitment to customer satisfaction. It’s becoming increasingly rare these days to find a company that truly stands behind both their products and their customers the way Lunderg does. Their attention to detail and willingness to help left a lasting positive impression on me and my family.
