Very versatile product.
Bought this to hold some paint strokes on board and didn’t want to setup a birds-eye view type rig, I also found that I could use the spare grips hold a reflector to add fill too! The base is nice and weighty, the arms a a good length and the grips are strong and hold the items securely. Mine came with a couple of spare grippers also.Item comes flat packed, but all tools to put it together are supplied which was a pleasant surprise.Overall I think this is a very good quality item and worth the cost which is reasonable for this quality product.

Well made and really useful
This is a solid piece of kit that works really well, in contrast to cheap ones I've tried where the screw clamps are always coming loose. The base is large and stable, and you can drop solder on it without fear of damaging table tops. It's a good working height, too. My only criticism would be that compared to a pivoting stand it's less easy to access both sides of the workpiece. But considering the simplicity and robustness of this unit, I'm not complaining.

Useful.
Bought for use in macro photography. Bit fiddly to use and would hold anything too heavy . For the price I’m happy with it

Great. Simply great.
This product is easy to put together. It has two long arms and two shorter ones. They can be arranged in any combination at any time. The crocodile clips have silicon covers to protect fragile work. The crocodile clips are not only threaded, but the arm it attaches to has a locking nut that allows for 360 degree rotation and locking-offWhat I really liked, apart from the superb build quality, is the fact you get a, not so cheap and cheerful, screwdriver to attach the arms to the base. Plus, it arrived with two spare crocodile clips. An all round great product and great value.

Great helping hands for soldiering
This is a solid and what appears to be robust! The flexible arms can be extended out for much larger boards, which is so useful and perfect for me. Folds down to a nice size, and you get a screw driver when finished! The arms do work loose, but a quick tighten up of the screw and you're good to go! Great value highly recommended

Excellent
One can never have enough hands! This soldering holding station is perfect, solid heavy plate stops this from falling over but you could easily clamp this plate to the side of any flat surface just to make sure it doesn't fall over, but generally its heavy enough to stay in place..Good bit of kit and ten times better than some of these solder holding stations which have a base that is small inadequate for the stems posts and magnifiers and will tip over. This is an excellent station and already attracted lots of attention people ask what the heck is it something from War Of The Worlds?Get the right tool for the Job this is perfect!

Not very helpful at all
The arms spring back when positioned and they also move rather easily when soldering. It fails at performing it's one and only task: To hold a pcb where you want it to be and keep it there.

Does Exactly What It Says On The Tin
Very easy to assemble, solid unit with non-slip feet, sturdy croc clips (with insulated/cushioned jaws) and plenty of flexibility. Even comes with two spare croc clips and a screwdriver to assemble it all (a spanner is an optional extra to really tighten the arms onto the feet). Only criticism would be that it could possibly hold the circuit board too high for many comfortable soldering positions, but that depends on your working position. No regrets here.
