Okay, I did not get it for this purpose and just found out about a week ago when I got it to play with it. I tried out different lights, fans, radios, etc. Still am going to try more things later. I bought an EF Ecoflow Delta 2 Max with 2 solar panels last year and have used it a few times for various work related and music related purposes and it work perfectly. It is heavy (like 60 lbs) and I thought i would get a smaller ECOFLOW to run a few items on while the other is charging off the sun or otherwise. More than pleased with the Smaller ECOFLOW. This one is only 17 pounds. It will not run a frig or big TV for more than an hour maybe 2 and I couldn't use it for my job and career fairs where I run 5-6 devices for up to 8 hours. The Delta does this easily though. I am a musician, and my group of 4 play lots of indoor and outdoor gigs. I do have a Westinghouse inverter 2000W generator that I have used for the outdoor stuff and it has been great for about the last 5 years. Pretty quiet but the ECOFLOW is silent and no fumes so I can use it inside or outside. I have used the big delta a couple of time indoors - there were no inhouse plugs close by without running 100' or extension cord. It worked great but again it is heavy to haul around. Here we go.......Epiphany/Discovery Time! I can run my whole musical group setup from the smaller ECOFLOW! Easily! for 30 hours or more. I still can't believe it! I just kept plugging in my equipment one thing at a time and it all works for much longer than I will ever need it. So here's my setup - Behringer 1600W Amp/mixer combo - 2 big Peavey passive speakers (15 inch woofers and horn drivers for high end) - a smaller Behringer keyboard amp/mixer monitor - a full size Yamaha keyboard - and last but not least (and I really don't use this as part of my regular setup but I wanted to see how much this thing could handle) a Peavy Keyboard amp/speaker combo. Oh, I also had a large Harbinger, powered speaker, that I hauled out of the storeroom and plugged it in too. If you have lost count, that's 5 devices total. The ECOFLOW still only showed about 70W of output and that it would be able to run for 25-30 hours. Crazy! It will run about 4-5 light bulbs for maybe 4 hours but all this stuff for much, much longer than I will ever need it for. Who would have guessed? I play in a string group with 1 cello, 1 violin, 1 flute and 1 keyboard. All instruments have pickups and mics running into the big Behringer Amp including the keyboard. So, getting back to my actual performance setup, that's 4 instruments and 3 electronic devices to give sound to everything. It works! and not just for a few minutes or a few hours but would run it all for 30+ hours! That's nuts. I assume all of these electronics take very little input and then internally amp those inputs up to what it required. Sorry, I am not an engineer - I don't really care how it works - it just does, beautifully. What a great discovery! Update on 6-17-25 A few days ago I setup this device with 4 instruments in my Garage. I have an upcoming Farmer's market and wanted to give it a realistic tryout before I actually go use it. Items plugged into it. Full size Yamaha Keyboard, Behringer piano monitor, and Behringer 1600 watt amp/mixer powering to large Peavy speakers. The Ecoflow was charged at about 96%. We played for about 1.5 hours. The device said it would go 9 hours to start with. At the end of the 1.5 hours it said about 8 hours. The Farmer's Market is by far our longest gig of the year at 5 hours. 9 hours is plenty of time. More after our first performance on 6-21-25.

This is a fantastic new addition to Ecoflow's line of "power houses". If you're like I was, you are reading these reviews in hopes of finding more sincere information about the product. I was hesitant at first to purchase this unit thinking it's the same thing as the smaller rivers with just an incremental increase in capacity from them. Noting that output power increases with the River2 Pro, I decided to give it a shot. After receiving the River 2 Pro (very well packaged I might add) I immediately put it through its paces. So here are a few real life uses I tried. First I wanted to verify the 800 watt a/c output specification so I plugged in a 800 watt coffee maker I happened to have and it ran flawlessly (see pic), putting out slightly more than stated. Next up was the toaster that came in at 711w , a household vacuum at 450w , and of course recharging phones , laptops, running lights, large fans and my newest "fan" favorite the 5 inch USB powered fan drawing a whopping 2w on low to 4w high !!! Yes it moves air !! Next up was the pellet stove . It easily powered the fans , blowers and auger, no problems there. The stove pulled about 150w on fans and 200w only when the auger kicks on for 3-5 seconds. In reading reviews and product questions both posed on Ecoflow products and other sites, I've seen a lot of questions regarding whether you can run sump pumps or not. So when it comes to sumps the problem is surge power, the power initially needed to get the pump started. It's a quick "jolt" of power, so quick its usually not observable on the screen. Anyway, I hooked the River2 Pro up to a 1/3 HP sump pump with a surge power of what I think is around 1300w -1600w. It ran like a champ! (see the video, volume up). I was instructed on how to calculate surge power on a sump to know the size generator that was needed. The general formula is this: Amps x voltage equals watts. Now when calculating surge you must multiply your amps x 4 then plug that number into the formula. My pump specifications stated it was 3.5 amps, so 14 amps x 115 volts (as stated on pump specs) equals 1610 watts of surge. Now I think this is bit over the actual surge needed but I provide the info for your consideration and your own pump's application. That being said the River2 Pro will be great with this pump during prolonged power outages. Recharging is as easy as plugging it to an outlet or using its solar charging capabilities. Both get the job done amazingly quick overall. The ability to use the unit as it charges is an awesome feature, not unique but worth mentioning due to the speed of charging in Ecoflow units and their LiFePo technology. It allows you to use higher wattage devices with far less battery depletion as it charges when your output exceeds total input. The Ecoflow App allows for monitoring of all input, output and state of charge. (see pics). Well I bought this unit specifically for its portability and "battery life" capacity for outdoor activities, but it's nice to know what it can do when its time to come indoors !! I've quickly realized that excursions to locations "not" so far off the beaten path can be made easier and so much nicer with the battery capacity of the River 2 Pro. This unit fits nicely into a small tote with room to spare for protection from elements. Its easy to get carried away with the possibilities, like throwing it on a wagon and taking everywhere a wagon will go !! So all in all, I give the River2 Pro 5 stars across the board. I highly recommend it for those seeking portable sizeable storage capacity . But more than that I recommend it for its outstanding functionality.

We recently picked up this unit along with an ECOFLOW Delta 2 and solar panels at the substantial Memorial Day Sale. All told I think we saved over $1,000 vs. the typical price. and feel a bit more prepared for the heavy hurricane season we're anticipating here in Florida. We're very pleased. LIKES OVERALL IMPRESSIONS - This is a handsome, nicely made piece of equipment. It feels solid in every way and with the built-in handle it's very easy to pick up and carry about, (as long as you're not going too far!) The layout with the display and A/C outputs all on the same side is better than on the Delta 2. USE AS EPS ECOFLOW advertises that you can leave these units plugged into wall power with your devices connected on a pass-through basis, and the unit will seamlessly take over when the wall power fails, which was what I wanted. It works. They're careful to say the switchover from wall to battery power may not be quick enough to keep some computers from shutting down (like a true "UPS") but my laptop with its own battery never blinked. The app reported this tiny cube would run my cable modem, router, laptop, smart speaker, and dual 20" monitors for about 7 hours; or a bit more with the external monitors off. We work from home, and this will be a great help in power outages large or small. BATTERY CHEMISTRY Glad to see the Lifepo4 chemistry that trades a bit of energy density for roughly 3x the charge cycles. This unit should last as long as we need it CAPACITY We decided on this unit and a Delta 2 instead of one bigger unit so we can place them around the house, plugged in to critical devices and ready to go in an emergency. At 700+ claimed watt hours, this is substantial backup power source in a very compact, easy to carry package. We have this one set up in a bedroom to take over lights and run a fan. It will be nice for every single thing in the house to not go black the second we lose power, which even without hurricanes happens a few times a year in our area. APP ECOFLOW's app is slick, sophisticated and great to use. I like the images of the respective devices that lets you look at each one in turn, and that both this and the Delta 2 can connect to Bluetooth and Wi-fi. The Delta took a while to get it to connect to our network, but the little RIVER 2 PRO connected instantly. Just a breeze to set up. NOT SO LIKES Not much with this unit, frankly. It's a little odd that both this and the larger Delta 2 we bought won't register the amount of power being drawn if it's below a certain level. For example, we moved the Delta 2 to my home office and set this one up to run a couple of small LED lights, a larger LED lamp, and an Echo 5 smart speaker/alarm clock in the bedroom, with plans to connect a tower fan in the event of a summer blackout. With the fan running, it will show the power draw (about 40 watts total) but with just the lights and the Amazon device, it shows 0 output, although it will still calculate runtime. Good to know it will run the small items a long time though. SUMMARY/RECOMMENDATION This is a great device. I'd almost suggest getting more of these for the kind of setup we have, except I'm not sure the little RIVER 2 PRO would do as well with my wife's electric kettle, which runs perfectly from the Delta 2 and is a necessity for making sure she is properly caffeinated (which is more of a necessity for my personal safety and comfort than it might seem). For car camping or running a kiosk or something, it would be absolutely perfect in many circumstances. I have no notes for ECOFLOW except that more power for less money is always appreciated. I bought two of these to run critical loads in case the power goes out: My fridge, and my sump pump. It's capable of running the fridge for about 5 hours. This was easy to test, since the draw is constant after the initial compressor startup. The sump pump, I'm not sure how long it would last, because its draw is for 10 seconds at a time, intermittently, every minute or two. It would depend on how much water is flowing into the pit. I've seen projections that suggest it could go about a day and a half to two days. But the point is, it can handle the startup wattage surge needed to run these, which means this unit is right-sized for my emergency needs. These units will allow me to defer buying a whole-house backup generation solution for a few years, which is a win, in my book. When they're empty, I can drive them somewhere that has power, plug them in, and they'll be fully recharged in 60-90 minutes to last for another several hours. If I needed to I could buy a gas generator just to recharge these. However, the automatic failover while I'm sleeping is key. I've seen lots of manual transfer switches for whole-house battery backup systems, but I don't want to have to wake up in the middle of the night and notice there's an outage. These things will simply handle the failover in a very eloquent way. I appreciate that. They're a perfect temporary solution while the market works on providing a better, *automatic* transfer switch for whole-house backups. (Last I checked, EcoFlow's only offering is a manual one.) And as a side benefit, once I've installed whatever whole-house solution I'm going to go with, if these still have any life left, they will be a really cool thing to bring camping or on a picnic. Or out into the yard if I'm hosting a get-together. Versatile, portable power is always cool.

The EcoFlow River 2 Pro 700 was my introduction to power stations. After weeks of researching power stations and my appliances' power requirements/needs to be sure I was ordering the best product for my needs and budget. I placed my order, received it as scheduled, in good condition, and charged to 28% for safe shipping. We had a 3-day power outage the week before, and we were going through day 2 of a second power outage when the River 2 arrived. Thankfully, a friend picked it up and returned it fully charged. Within minutes, I connected my smaller, apartment-sized fridge and saw that the power surged to 768 watts briefly, and the power was on, but the fridge didn't seem to be running. Tried it again a little later, and the same thing happened, but I didn't unplug it. Surprisingly, the fridge started running about 15 minutes later. After that, it ran smoothly at 135-115 watts until I unplugged it. I kept running the fridge for an hour every few hours. I was curious, though, whether the fridge was starting as it should or if there was a problem, so I contacted EcoFlow customer service, and they promptly responded. They asked for the fridge model # and a description of my problem, and readings on the River 2. I sent that info, and a day later, I received a message asking another question, and that was the beginning of weeks of one question after another and more and more frustration. When I suggested that they were not responding as expected, I finally received an "answer" to my question that was filled with grossly inaccurate technical information that led them to suggest that the River 2 Pro did not have enough power to run the average full-sized fridge that required 2000 to 3000 watts to start and that I had just made a bad buying decision that I would just have to live with. They were ABSOLUTELY WRONG. The River 2 Pro has continued to run my apartment-size fridge just as it should. I learned from the fridge manufacturer that the fridge was designed to start just as it did and that the starting surge should be less than 800 watts. I had previously decided that I wanted two power stations: the River 2 Pro for phones, lanterns, and wifi and tablet. I also wanted a larger EcoFlow power station to be used just for my fridge and freezer during extended power outages. After my experience with EcoFlow customer service, I purchased a larger power station, but not from EcoFlow. If I can't rely on them to provide timely, reliable information, I don't trust that I can rely on them to honor their warranty with timely, reliable service if I should ever need it. The River 2 power station functions just as it should and recharges in about an hour. There are enough power ports to meet my needs; it is quiet and easily portable, and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend EcoFlow customer support.

It's such a joy to own this power station. I have had it 2 years. I love that I can take it camping and run my CPAP off of it for several nights (even with the humidifier!)-- to get good energy efficiency buy a DC car adapter for the CPAP and plug it in directly to the ecoflow. I also love that the USB C line can run at 90 watts, so I can charge my laptop off of it directly no problem. All of this DC power output saves a lot of energy. It is quick to charge off the wall too, so I can use solar while camping, or fill the whole thing up somewhere I find an outlet mid trip. Even small things like design choices are nice-- the top is flat so you can set things on it, unlike the Jackery which has a handle on top. Love this!

Love it, I have 3 Ecoflow generators if that says anything. You won't do a WHOLE lot for long with this one, but it runs 2 c-pap machines all night with some charge left when we get up if they're needed if that gives you any idea. The screens tell you all you need to know, but the app monitoring is nice with their units as well

Must stop listening to ytube reviewers. What a worthless piece of bovine coprolite. It can do 1 thing, and 1 thing only. Barely keep my setpower (see my review on THAT POS) kinda running. You can't plug more than one thing into it unless you want it to die in 30 minutes. It BARELY keeps the energy hog fridge running. I have to hunt for power outlets EVERY SINGLE DAY because it charges at the speed of turtle on the car 12v, and even slower on the 2 130 w flex solar panels. I have never wasted so much money in my life. EVERY SINGLE DAY I have to charge this thing. YAY it charges fast at the library plugged in to an outlet. OH good. I put it on my walker and wheel it in, plug it in, then wheel it back out and plug it back into my fridge to last for another day. Then rinse and repeat. I literally cannot use this for anything else. You can't charge cell phones on it, no usb ports to speak of. I hate AI, honestly..I input my requirements, it spat out this one--and I spit it right back. It is heavy, and way outdated as far as tech. Don't waste you money. Wait until the new sodium lighter weight better batteries come available. DO NOT LIKE--it LOVES wall charging, yay, but hates any other kind (unless you are rich enough to drive over 2 hours a day or sit around in the hot sun moving car around to get that whisp of solar power into it. I have tried charging it all three ways---the ONLY way that works with any sort of "speed" is hauling that thing into the library. ignore any adverts that show an old person winging it around like it's cotton candy. NOPE...it's heavy, unweildy chunk of bulky plastic, and I hate it. Edited to add, the level of hate I have for this useless pile of ...I won't need a heated blanket when winter comes, between this thing and the suckspower fridge I should be toasty warm. But the good news, I just hauled it into the library and it charged fro 6% to 100 in under an hour. Hauled it back out to the car and hooked it up to the suckspower fridge. In about 2-3 hours I will have to go back out, bring it BACK in and charge it to 100 again if I want it to last until morning, and that's with it perpetually hooked to the car charger when it's in the car and any time I drive it get's a 1-2 percent charge..yay. And tomorrow is a holiday, don't know what the you know what I am going to do tomorrow. I should just toss all my food and give up. If all you want to do is charge a drone battery or cameras, go for it, but as heavy as it is and as much heat as it puts out you'd do better just running your car. Not kidding.

Bloody love this set up! So easy to use set up, charge, light and easy, multiple plugs, runs thw whole cabin. And it's super quiet!

Easy to set up and solar panel are perfect to recharge the battery. Used it for all types of applications up to max 800Wh. In some cases like a coffee machine and hot water kettle that was rated at 1350Wh it worked fine only took longer to brew which was fine. Some appliances drew too much wattage and did not work. Easy to move around as it's not very heavy. I could have opted for a larger wattage unit but would weigh too much. Highly recommend for Camping, Boating and all outdoor activities

This is a very good product and I am using it for a couple of months. I wanted a portable backup device which is user friendly and does require the user to know the science behind the scene. It can be charged by normal power supply in India and I also use 200W solar panels to directly charge it too which lowers the total cost of ownership of this product. I use it to power my phone, laptop, portable fan, portable led lights and tried it on a 500W mixer grinder too.
