PLANTIONAL 11.6"x30yd Medium Weight Iron on Non-Woven Fusible Interfacing

I am very pleased with this interfacing. I had just taken a class to learn how to make bucket hats. I wanted to make as many as possible for charity, so I needed something more affordable than the brand name we used in class. Not knowing much about interfacing, I was concerned this would be too thin as per the reviews. However, it worked wonderfully for me and was easy to use. No instructions came with it--I checked the middle tube as reviewers noted to no avail. However, I found several YouTube videos on how to use interfacing that helped. I still came up with my own method by dampening a paper towel and putting it between tbe iron and my cloth with interfacing on bottom layer. I did not use steam and set the iron on the middle of the cotton setting. I held the hot iron for a few seconds on each section. Basically, once the paper towel was dry, I knew to move the iron to a new spot. If you have to worry about burning the towel, your iron is too hot or you have it stationary too long. I liked this interfacing because the hat still has structure, but still a little floppy like it should be. I would think this is appropriate for most projects that need interfacing that is middle weight. My hat is reversible and I did put interfacing on the outer and inner fabrics. I could have left it off the lining for an even more floppy hat. The interfacing did look a bit gray on the roll instead of white, but ironed on it looked more white and did not affect the color of the hat at all.

Using this to stabilize T-Shirts for a quilt. It’s working great so far. Sticks good without being overly sticky. It does come off easy especially if not used right away, but it seems to reattach fairly easy when heated again

This interface is functional and of great quality! Works perfectly for DIY sewing and craft projects. The 11.6" x 30 yard roll gives you plenty to work with, and the medium weight is versatile for most applications. Easy to use with an iron. Reliable product at a good price.

If you just need to stabilize fabric for sewing where all raw edges will eventually be finished (like a quilt or hat), then this works well. It irons on to the fabric and holds well enough to add stability while you work (gently) with the fabric. However, it peels off fairly easily. If you are going to interface any fabric and leave raw edges, this interfacing will separate from the fabric at any exposed raw edges with use or wear. The adhesive is weak enough that it also doesn't prevent fraying of the cut edges of woven fabrics. On the plus side, if you mess up on the position of the interfacing, you can just peel it off, reposition, and re-iron. I haven't used the brand name, so can't compare whether this is normal or not but I would think a good quality interfacing should adhere permanently to the fabric and not budge. So, you get what you pay for. It's a good weight (not too stiff, not too flimsy), easy to work with since it comes on a roll. For ironing, I put a piece of parchment paper between the interfacing and the iron and this works great to keep the adhesive from melting through the interfacing onto the iron. You'll want to hold the very hot iron in place for a few seconds before moving on to the next section, and let everything cool completely before checking the adhesion. Overall, if I were going to use this for something that would get any washes or regular wear, I would choose a better quality product. For temporary wear crafts, crafts where all seams are finished and hidden that won't be washed, or anything where eventual separation of the interfacing from the fabric won't affect the final product, then this works well enough and is cheap.

I’m very pleased with this, the steadiness the easiness of using it. The appearance is good. It’s the perfect weight and it works perfect with my projects. I like it so much I subscribed to receive it every two months.

This interfacing is the perfect size and easy to iron on. This is a very sturdy durable interfacing.

I do like this interfacing. It irons on easily and sticks. Just be aware of the width of it. But I have found that I piece it and you can't tell it's been pieced. So it works for me.

I have used it twice. There are no instructions, but I used wool setting for 5 sec on dry and it worked very well. Adhesion was satisfactory. Other users said it was light weight, but to me, it looks like the medium weight non woven I had bought in the fabric store. I did not notice the grey colour other users talked about. Satisfied with my purchace.
