Adore Shining Semi Permanent Hair Colour, 90 Lavender

I came across this brand on Amazon and thought I’d try it instead of the usual Crazy Colour, which used to only last a week before having to top up again. The consistency of this one is quite runny so be careful when applying. Of course you will get stain with any hair dye but honestly this one isn’t that bad to scrub off if you get some on your neck or ears, just be sensible and protect your skin. I mixed a bit of lilac to cotton candy pink and the colour turns out nice and pastel (applied to an orangy bleached hair). The dye actually lasts 2-3 weeks with daily wash, which is pretty impressive. I spent £200 having my hair done at the salon and their dye didn’t last a week. Never again. This dye will be my go-to home dye from now on.

I bought the Lavander bottle. It was purple shampoo or soap. There was NO DYE in it at all. It didn't dye my hair (nor my skin) at all (I tried twice before throwing away the rest in the bin), it had bubbles and lathered like soap/shampoo! The app won't even let me ask for a return/refund! Wasted money and my hair is still bleached orange!

Love adore semipermanent dye. They have so many great colors and always look like they are advertised. The downside however is they do not last very long at all. They slowly start to fade out after only a week or two. But they don't do damage to your hair like more permanent dyes so it's worth the trade off, just a lot of upkeep if you want to maintain the colors. If you want to change your hair a lot and play around then this is great for you do to so. They don't come with a brush or anything so you'll need all the other supplies on your own. May be obvious but colors will not work on dark hair. You have to have bleached hair to get the colors to come through. Putting this on brown, or nutty brown, or probably even dirty blonde will do nothing.

Brilliant colour easy to use does not stain. It looks lovely.. If your hair is fair..it takes better.. Sadly after 3 weeks it’s completely gone..

I tried the lavender colour on my bleached underneath hair. It worked well as a toner as it took out all the orange/ yellow colour. However it is not good as a colour. It won’t turn your hair lilac/ lavender if you’re starting with a similar base to mine. Would not recommend if this is what you’re going for. I ended up putting arctic fox ‘purple af’ over the top which turned it a much nicer colour.

Wow I’m amazed how well it colours my hair! No other product achieved this level of colour intensity. I have bleached hair so it turn a little bit too purple. But after 2 washes it changed into more subtile soft-greyish shade which I love. It did wash out purple-levander colour completely in approx 3weeks (daily wash), but it also covered the brassiness, so my hair colour now is cool blonde. I must try other colours too :)

Awesome product , I mix mine with white conditioner as I like a softer lavender color . I’ll only order this brand , my fave
