My computer was beginning to show signs of biting the dust, so I bought what will probably be my last computer. I had my last computer about 12 years and I’m 77 so I figure the new one should be the last I need. It;s a Mac Studio though and has different and faster ports than my old iMac. I needed both some small backup and transfer drives and some good cables! I have 4 Thunderbolt ports on the back. I use one for my monitor, but still leaves 3 and they are much faster than the 3.2 ports on the front. This cable will work on both! I;m happy with that and I like the short cord. My Mac Studio is on my desk right next to my monitor since it has a small footprint so less cords dangling is better as far as I;m concerned. I got this one specifically to use for my Time Machine backup drive, so it can sit at the back of my computer right next to the port it plugs into….perfect!

I purchased this item to use as a short charging cable to connect between an Anker battery pack (which is attached to my phone via MagSafe case),to charge faster than the wireless charging speed when needed. I didn't want a long cable bunched up. This works great for that purpose and keeps everything neat.I also wanted to check the claim of having a fast transfer speed, so I copied 9GB of video files from my phone to my pc.Sure enough, with the regular data cable I had, it took just over 5 minutes, and with this product it only took 1 minute! Not doing the math about exact transfer speed here-but it's definitely 5 times faster than my regular cable-so now it's an obvious choice for data transfer.. very nice.I'd it holds up, it's a great product for sure-seem study though!

Haven't had much time to test it yet, but it's a very stiff cable. Depending on what you're going to use it for, that might be a good or bad thing. Certainly seems to transmit data and power adequately though.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, I RECENTLY PULLED MY CHARGING CABLE OUT OF OF DESK WHERE IT SAT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND IT DOES NOT WORK, AMD I HVE TRIED IT WITH 9 differmt chargers and not a single one works. It’s still in perfect shoe but does not work and it has never worked. Do not by one of these or you will have the same problem

I shoot a lot of video and did not want to store my video on the phone itself so use the SSD instead. The short cable is perfect for connecting the SSD to my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The quality is very good and the connection is solid.

I used this cable between iphone 15pro max and crucial ssd 4tb to record 4k/60. And damn it works!! Love the video quality and how quick the phone recognize the ssd drive. This cable is built with quality. Definitely I will recommend it.
