The Dreo 42 Inch Pilot Max Smart Fan is excellent! It’s powerful but surprisingly quiet, with a wide range of settings to suit any need. The smart features and remote make it really convenient, and it cools the room quickly without taking up much space. Stylish, efficient, and worth every penny!

Super impressed with just how good this fan is. Firstly setting up the fan was super easy. Remove the large red screw piece, slot the 2 base pieces together and reattach with the large red screw. The power wire is about 3ft so an extension lead may be required. Secondly the style and general look of the fan is perfect for me, as you can see in the pictures it goes great with my flooring and just generally looks much better than all the fans I’ve had before. The dial on the front isn’t super bright but it’s bright enough to see in sunlight. The back of the fan can be completely removed by just one screw so I’m happy I can fully clean the blades at some point down the line. The power of the fan is superb, especially because you have 12 levels which means you can go from an extremely quiet and low breeze at level 1 to a strong gust at level 12. My old fan had 5 levels and honestly was louder at level 1 than this fan is at level 6. It’s super quiet which is really good for falling asleep to and the sleep mode works well. For me the natural mode just doesn’t get used and I don’t see the point in it, but all fans have it as an option. I’m really impressed with the auto mode as it will actually analyse the temperature of your room and change the fan speed based on that. That’s worth paying the extra money for sure. How accurate the temperature readings are is hard to measure but from my use it does seem to work really well. Could be extremely accurate or maybe a degree or 2 off but certainly close enough to make auto mode a fantastic option. The remote is ok and does have all the buttons you would need but if you sit far away from the fan then it might be a case of full on pointing and clicking a few times to get a response. For me I use either the app or Alexa to control the fan so this isn’t an issue whatsoever. The app is fantastic looking and shows a perfect image of the fan, allows you to change the name and change all settings. This is especially good for changing the oscillation levels from 30,60,90,120. I don’t believe you can do this with the remote. I haven’t seen any other fan offer a 120 degree oscillation so that’s really good to have. The touch buttons on the top work brilliantly, however I don’t see myself using those much as I have the app. Alexa was the simplest setup ever. Once you’ve got the Dreo app just click on the Alexa button and it automatically loads the Alexa app and links it for you. Really happy with the no fuss setup. Overall an expensive fan compared to other brands and even most other Dreo models but you get what you pay for. This is the top of the line fan that looks better than other fans, has more levels, more oscillations, more settings and is more powerful. Simply the best. Highly recommend.

Wasn’t sure to start with about the hype over these fans. After being near one in a friends house I decided to take the plunge myself with a slightly different model. I own an array of fans from Dyson, Honeywell, Morphy Richards and I can honestly say this is the most powerful I have bought and at a price point that puts the others to shame. The auto dimming screen, the variable oscillation and the 12 speed settings make this perfect for a lounge or bedroom. It can easily be moved between rooms and feels (although a little plasticky) sturdy. The remote is easy to use and due to the volume of air moved even on a hot day it does make a notable difference to how warm you feel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking.

I am very pleased with this. The fan seems to put out cool air and not warm. The air projects well - it is not silent but the sound level is ok. I wanted to buy again for my elderly mother but there is a long wait.

I love this fan, the remote is kind of pointless unless it's being used by someone that isn't so tech savvy. I use the app to control wind speed, how far it can turn, the sound and other modes it has to offer which are just amazing as a first time buyer of a fan with this much tech. If it turns the full 120 degrees it can make a funny noise but I always prefer to have the fan aimed at me, in fact, I wish there was a way of aiming the fan at myself without having to physically move it, on the DREO app. it's quite big but fits perfectly in the corner of a room, and blows wind like it's supposed to at up to 12 different levels.

Taller than I expected, but fits the room well. Very efficient lots of settings to choose from, and the remote / phone app is great. Really pleased, the dog loves it too.

On a vraiment l'impression d'une brise naturelle, pas d'une soufflerie. - il a une télécommande et une appli, mais on en a pas besoin (sauf pour régler l'angle d'oscillation, mais on n'a à le faire qu'une fois), on peut juste se servir des boutons bien placés au sommet. - En plus il y a 6 boutons, bien plus agréables que d'autres ventilos qui essaient de caser toutes les fonction sur un ou 2 boutons - Je ne me sers pas de l'appli et du wifi, mais je trouve que il vaut son prix pour sa simple qualité mécanique. - il se monte simplement sans outil (juste le pied à visser par une grosse molette à main) Bref, je viens d'en racheter un autre!

Fa tantissimo fresco ed è silenziosissimo. Unico neo forse il telecomando che non è sempre preciso, mentre non ho ancora provato l'app. Però un prodotto da 5 stelle senza pensarci.
