Easy to use. Efficient. Easy to clean
This Spiralizer is amazing! I was hesitant about buying it after reading that some users find it doesn't stick to their worktop but I have had no such problems. It's suction is very strong. It is easy to use. Easy to clean and can be stored away in its box ready for next use. I love the fact 2 blades can be stored safely in the unit itself & the other 2 in the plastic drawer provided. A great safety factor. My food prep time has been cut in half using the unit. As an older person I have weak wrists and fingers but it's so easy to Spiralize using this unit which is very strong and looks like it will last. Coleslaw is made at lightning speed. Beautiful salads of cucumber with baby tomatoes and feta cheese. Carrots in a Dijon vinaigrette. Butternut squash noodles make amazing "nests". Toss lightly in olive oil. Put in a 4 hole Yorkshire pudding tin. Lift out and turn over after 10 mins. Leave a further ten mins then drizzle red pesto over and grate on Parmesan cheese. Yummy! Brieftons salad recipe book provides a great choice of recipes but I purchased "The Big 10 Paleo Spiralizer cookbook from Amazon ( Megan Flynn Peterson) which gives a great variety of recipes for a whole range of vegetables. I also love the fact that Brieftons provide you tube videos on how to use and get the best out of this product. All in all I feel the little extra expense was well worth it, especially as I see Brieftons provide spare parts that can be easily purchased at very reasonable cost. As a now avid Spiralizer I may well need another set of blades quite soon. S thank you Brieftons. I can thoroughly commend this product. Wish I'd bought one sooner!

Works great - would recommend!
Does a cracking job to be fair. Whilst it is 99% plastic, it seems fairly well made and pretty sturdy! Comes with a selection of different graded blades for a variety vegetable thicknesses. The suction cups on the base don't work the best for me, but I suspect that's more down to my wooden work top than the product itself. Great little hand book and love the 'will it spiralize' flow chart. Initially thought this was a bit dear, but would recommend.

Does what it says
I have only tried one of the five blades up to now. I didn't know that it separates the core and at first, I found it quite amusing, but now it seems a little wasteful if thrown away or defeats the object if you manually chop it up! It comes unstuck while using it, it definitely saves time, it doesn't look and feel too bad to say everything except the blades are plastic, it cuts through carrot, courgette and onion with ease and pretty quickly, it comes apart easily to clean.

Not as good as I expected.
This spiraliser cuts lovely spirals out of your vegetables. Plenty of choice about which blade, so how thin you want the strands. Great sucker underneath, even sticks to our textured worktop. And then it leaves a "core" that hasn't been spiralised, it's about the size of your little finger. So you need very wide vegetables. If you start with a thin carrot, you'll have a few strands of carrot and a neat cylinder of carrot. Probably great if you cut onions, swede or perhaps cucumber. Rubbish at doing carrot or parsnip. I should have tried courgette, that would probably work well, but I didn't have one to hand. And there's a handle on the side to push the vegetable into the blade, but being on the side, it makes the whole unit rotate around the sucker, so you have to bring it back in line every time you put a veg through. It's as though the designer has never tried to use it... Straight to the charity shop.

Fantastic!
Brilliant piece of equipment with instructions really clear. We have used it so much since we got it to make fantastic salads using fresh courgettes and carrots. Great fun to use and very safe. A really good design and so easy to clean. Love it!

Easy to use and clean
I bought the spiralizer as I needed to change my diet to include more veggies and less carbs. I use it to make courgette (zucchini) spaghetti. It is a great way to prepare veggies and get varying textures etc. It adds variety even when using the same vegetable. Also came with several downloadable recipe books when it was registered. So all in all well worth the money as far as I am concerned. Obviously I need to experiment more with it, but so far very pleased.

Fastest, easiest manual vegetable spiralizer and veggie noodle maker
When my $200+ electric spiralizer died after several years of service, I didn't want to invest in another unit with accessory pieces I would never use. I considered a small electric spiralizer and a manual one. After researching the most recommended, quality spiralizers and reading all of the reviews, I chose the Brieftons 5-blade appliance that would adequately suit my needs. I was a bit hesitant since it was a manual device, and I was concerned it would be hard to use since I would have to manually operate the unit. Based on reputation, quality, and ease of use, I chose the Brieftons 5-Blade Spiralizer and Veggie Noodle Maker. I did note that the blades were high-quality Japanese 420-Grade Steel. That was a good selling point. I was concerned that the appliance would be hard to handle since it was a manual operation. The delivery was quick and well packaged. I followed the instructions in prepping the unit, which was very easy. In no time at all, I had spiralized several zucchini, and I used the slicing blade to make a cucumber salad. The platform has a very strong suction on the bottom of the unit that adheres to a solid surface and locks into place. I didn't have to use the pusher handle at all. I tried a couple of different blades and chose the one that gave me the thickness I wanted. I was amazed at how easy the zucchini slid across the platform without having to push it forward. The device has a pusher handle that I didn't have to use. I used the flat blade to slice a cucumber for salad. In no time at all, I had a bowl full of thin cucumber slices. I give the performance a five-star AAA rating for ease of use, consistent thickness, and easy cleanup! Plus, its compact size easily fits into my cupboard without taking up too much space. I am very happy with this spiralizer and highly recommend it.
