This electric underblanket is really good — it takes a little while to warm up, but once it does, it puts out plenty of heat. I love that it’s dual control, so my partner can have theirs on while I leave mine off, or vice versa. It’s a really practical feature that makes sharing a bed much more comfortable.The controls are easy to use, and it’s great that there’s an “off” button on either side, so you can switch it off easily in the dark. My only minor gripe is that it’s not immediately obvious which side is low and which is high, so it can take a moment to figure out in low light. It also requires being plugged in on both sides — not a problem for us, but something to be aware of depending on your bed setup.Overall, it’s well-made, effective, and comfortable. Definitely a cozy addition for colder nights, especially if you like controlling your own side of the bed.

This product is fantastic - it is a no frills kind of option, having 2 manual heat adjusters and a small amount of padding but nonetheless does an excellent job of warming our bed up quickly and effectively before we jump in. If you want a luxury item this probably isn't for you but it works perfectly for us.I actually think that the manual switches have a benefit over digital because it is easy to set them up with a smart plug as we've done, meaning we can turn the blanket on from our phones from anywhere! Just leave the switch set to your preferred heat level (we use level 3 to warm the bed up quickly). I guess that some of the more fancy electronically controlled ones might have a timer feature built in but I'm not sure how easy it would be to use them with a smart plug as when not sure if they will turn on when you power them up without you physically pressing a button the the controls.Since we've already invested in smart plugs etc. around our home it means we can get this functionality more easily.Thanks to this blanket we've been able to keep the temperature lower in our bedroom knowing that we are guaranteed a nice warm bed when we're ready to get in and I would definitely recommend it.

I’ve had this Silentnight Dual Control Electric Blanket for around three weeks now and it’s honestly amazing. It heats up quickly and feels like being hugged by a big warm bear when you get into bed. The dual control feature is a great touch, letting each side choose their own heat level which saves a lot of arguments on chilly nights.The heat is evenly spread and the blanket itself feels soft and comfortable to lie on. My only small suggestions for improvement would be a better strap system to keep it firmly in place, as the elastic ones can let it bunch up a little, and a timer function would be handy for overnight use.Overall it’s a brilliant product that makes a real difference on cold evenings. If you want a reliable, cosy, and easy-to-use electric blanket, this one won’t disappoint.

Its good, too hot for me but my wife loves it. We have ahd it a while before writing this review so it lasts well too

I purchased this electric blanket for my mother-in-law as she feels the cold and can’t really afford to keep the heating on that much so goes to bed early. She is really pleased and wished she had bought one years ago.

I purchased as a gift for someone, they say it's perfect! Really lovely, warm and comfortable. They say they would recommend it.

After using these for years you think you can get something better so you try a different make 2 stopped working within an hour , so ordered my trusty silent night again, nice and simple, works well , I only heat one side of bed so the second control stays in drawer for a spare, also I've ordered a deep fleece mattress protector to go over the top of the electric blanket this time.

One niggle, that I shall reference at the end.Positives:Heating setting 1 is great if you dislike a warm bed and just want to take the edge off cold sheetsHeating setting 2 is perfect for me and put it on (or use a timer if you have a regular bedtime) 30 minutes before you go to bed.Heating setting 3 is truly too hot for me. It’s very very effective. But I used it when I just forgot to turn it on before hand. I looked and thought “blast I’ve forgotten to turn it on”. Bang it onto 3, then go and do your ablutions. Be relaxed and brush your teeth slowly. In under ten minutes the bed is at an acceptable temperature and your error in forgotten.So what’s the niggle you ask? It’s the socket fitting to the lead that is on the top corner of each side (we purchased a dual zone version) of the blanket. Ergonomic it it’s not. Perhaps my mistake as I should have put the blanket further up the bed so the pillow covers the socket. But silly old be left it at about my shoulder level on the bed and wow it’s like rolling over onto a block of Lego. It’s not insurmountable - but it was annoying until I moved it.Well recommended.

The blanket controller broke one month after delivery after minimal use. replacement not possible so now only half of blanket works.

The blanket does as required so far, 1 week of use, and the only complaint I would have would be the same as a precious user in that the blanket does not heat to the edge and 6 inches or more near the edge of the bed is COLD.
