This works. I had some old fans that the electric motor was dragging or seizing completely up on and just a few squirts of this down into the bearings of the shaft did the job. They are running like new. I have also sprayed 4 other fans that are used in outdoor locations and after several rains they still come on smoothly instead of the usual sluggish crawl of a start. Works both as a breaker upper and a prevention on fan motors. Your fan motors will thank you and this will treat several fans multiple times and save you from having another fan sitting around collecting dust and taking space. I don't know about mass industrial use, but if it is effective for small electrical motors, then I would say this is worth a shot at the price.

So far I really like this stuff; I have been using it to help in the refurbishing of 50 year old audio equipment. I use it as both corrosion elimination and protectant. It is also a pretty good cleaner; This equipment often has filmy buildups and accumulated residue like nicotine as well as mouse pee. This seems to work as a single step to remove layers of grime while leaving a protective film behind. It works surprisingly well on the painted metal cabinet surfaces to remove oxidized paint and restore what little luster might be left after half a century. I have not yet found a surface material it is unsafe on. It also smells decent and the pressurized can propellant won't choke you out like some other products. The only downside I can think of is that it is a little messy to use.

I have a soft wash drone that uses some pretty harsh chemicals to kill mold and mildew. Over time the chemicals cause oxidation and Corrosion X helps reduce the oxidation. I use the CX aerosol spray can and the liquid oil to keep the drone from prematurely falling.

I've used this lubricant for many years better than WD40

I use this on my rc boats, works well but pricey.

Not only did I pay for the smaller can because I wanted the flexy nozzle but they sent me the larger can. No flexy nozzle but I'm grateful for the extra 10oz's that comes in the big can. Great product, I like that it is safe for use on electronics which is what I bought for. It does stink so make sure you use outside or in a well ventilated area.
