Fun Activity, But Don’t Expect Delicious Candy
We started with the Kaboom PlayZ kit and really enjoyed its educational, science-lab feel. That’s what led us to try the Edible Candy kit next. This one is more about having fun than learning. While the activities are entertaining, the candy itself isn’t very sweet or flavorful, so the final results might feel a little underwhelming for kids expecting a tasty treat. Some of the supplies are not in the kit such as ingredients which is anticipated but also for example the paper straws for the gummy worm activity.

Great Product for kids.
Great product, and easy to do with my 5 year old. Something fun to do in the kitchen with him. They have multiple different candies you can make, and product last for a long time. Recipes are good to use even with outside products.

Fun project but too much work
This seems like it could be a very fun gift for the little one in your life, however I didn't realize how much work and supplies goes into it. I was anticipating this to be everything you need, but it's pretty much just a recipe book with a few "special" tools, which are just plastic spoons and a beaker. You have to buy all the ingredients separately. The only candy this includes is the jelly mix, which is the only "experiment" I tried out because I'm not running to the store spending an extra $50+ on ingredients for a silly little project. If YOU are willing to then go for it, like I said I think it could be a very fun activity, you just have to be willing to put the time and money into it. It's like a kids' science experiment investment lol. As for the jellies, they turned out pretty good. I made the sour kind with the citric acid the kit includes. The texture was grainy, not your typical store bought gummy, but what do you expect with literally 4 ingredients; water, gelatin, jelly mix, citric acid. As for taste they actually weren't bad. A little bitter but you could easily adjust the ingredient amounts to your personal liking. So in conclusion, would I buy this again? As a gift for another kid sure I would, with a fair warning to the parent of all the work they're in for haha. But it's obviously a novelty, really just a silly fun "science experiment" for the kids. So have fun!

Great gift
Gave as a Christmas gift and my nephew loved it! He loves making slime and being able to eat it too, priceless! Instructions were easy to follow, cleanup was a breeze. Love seeing their creative side coming out instead of sitting in front of the tv

Expired product by almost 2 years!
I bought this as a birthday present for my daughter in January 2025. I didn’t notice at the time, but later found out that the box showed an expiration date of July 2023. I wanted to buy this for my daughter for Christmas (December 2024), but they were sold out at that time, so why did I get an expired product a month later?
