BEE GIRL Honey Custard, Curl Defining Cream Styling Gel, 16 oz

It’s a really nice product. A small amount goes a long way, very good slip, adds some moisture and strong hold although not the strongest I’ve tried. It has a honey scent which lingers a bit after hair is dry but so far I don’t feel it to be too much. It could be used by itself for styling but I live in a very humid 97% area and could never. It comes very well protected and sealed. My hair is waist long 3b 3c. It does flake a lot at the roots (next day), not sure if it’s bc of any of my shower products which I rinse fully bc the styler I used with this was the foam from the same line. Update!! Gave it a second try by using the foam last and this product first (not sure why I thought to do it opposite hehehe) and it’s great!!! No flaking and good strong hold with shiny clumps! I could compare this to the olive oil curlshow curl creator if you’ve tried it. It looks like it will hold for 5+ days based on results after difusing

This is my go to product for curl definition. I do have a few loose curly edges and curly ends, although my hair has been loc’ed for nearly five years. I insist that this product is supreme for curl defining, but a little goes a mighty long way. It does fine if you pair it with damp hair, a light leave in conditioner, or layer with a light mousse. This product dries with a cast, but it softens within a day or so. I love that I can spritz water to reactivate the curling enhancement and the hols is unmatched. If you use too much, it will flake, but just spritz with water. There is a light honey fragrance, but it’s not noticeable upon application. I love this honey custard!

I can’t ever be without this gel. I have 3c-4a hair, & live in very humid south florida. Ive is the only product that defines my curls, keeps a hold, & tames frizz. It’s a strongggg hold and a little bit goes a long way.

I like this product. My niece introduced this to me and I loved it. However, I’m not good with the natural styles so of course when I did my hair myself definitely didn’t come out the way my niece did it. It’s did define my curls. I have 4c hair type and it works well with my hair type. It’s very sticky and can be messy but again, I’m not a professional. I love the honey smell.

I use this with other “honey” products by The Doux. I love this line. Finally- a product that allows me to wear my hair down and it doesn’t look shaggy. Definition- finally!!! I don’t need the shampoo or conditioner line for it- just the after products. Watch The Doux videos on how to use it properly or you’ll end up with a lot of buildup. Initially, that was my problem, but once I used it, like the videos showed, I was truly happy. Yes, the products are a bit pricey, but, at least you’re using the product that works, rather than buying tons of other products that are useless (and every person who is natural seems to go through this). So just go ahead and try it. I’m a 4c or 4D or 3C or 3D- whatever!! That number is completely subjective. Just try it already! 😉

Defines my curls and has amazing hold. The scent is amazing too.

This product left my hair hard and with ALOT of white residue that would just sit on my hair. I definitely would not buy again. The curls were defined but not worth it if my hair looked so white and ashy like I had a bad case of dandruff !!! I would rather try another product on my 4C hair. This was not a good buy! Sorry.

Affordable and a great product to defines and moisturises curly hair. A little goes a long way. The sent is plain and a clean smell , the texture is more runny then it is thick, which i find helps coating my hair evenly which defines my hair more. However after a few continues uses i do think it becomes a bit flaky and leaves a dusty look

BUY IT IMMEDIATELY, it’s the only product that would make my hair last a full week without having to deal with lots of frizz and dryness, it makes ur hair shine and keeps ur hair moisturized but side effects is that ur hair would be flaky but not too much it’s okay i totally recommend this product tho

Pleasantly surprised. I have waist length hair and I am in a very humid tropical country. My hair is on a day 3 “wash and go” with this product and it still looks decent. My coily hair looks defined and not super crunchy.
