7/10/2026 Editing my review again to 5 stars. This is the second season using this dispenser and it has worked like a charm. My first filter this year lasted 6 weeks. The speed of filtration was fast up until the end of life of the filter. Water tastes great and I’m very pleased with this product. I recommend this unit. 7/25/2025 I am editing my review from a 1 star to 4 star based solely on the customer service I have received. Within 24 hrs of my first review I was contacted from CS and asked what could be done to help with my problem. Long story short I now have three new (free to me) filters to use and review. Harper was very engaged and wrote several emails to make sure I was being taken care of. My pitcher now has a new filter in it and I will address this again after I’ve used it for a week and compare its performance to the first one. My fingers are crossed because I love this dispenser. 7/10/2025 I had been using a pitcher type that just could not keep up with our needs so I upgraded to this. I was so pleased with this at first. The size is good and the ease of use is great. I started using it July 1st and by the 7th the filter has stopped filtering. Barely a drip. I did what others said to do. Take the filter out, bang it in your hand or shake it. Replaced it and it filtered one batch of water. I’m camping and not at home or I would return it. Very very dissatisfied as this was not inexpensive and gives me pause to order any replacement filters as they are not cheap either.

After a lot of research and consideration for water filtration processes big & small, I decided to go the 'simple' route to start. Less expensive than the under-sink options and certainly less than the bigger options. I am renting a home and have found that many of the landlords are no longer offering Frig with water line options. I've had the Waterdrop filter dispenser for about a week and have to say it has been a very good decision for me. I place it on my coffee bar counter, so it is easily avail for the morning coffee making. And it just so happens to my dog water bowls are in the same vicinity, so this was a perfect spot to place it. I use a pitcher of tap water to fill it daily - it couldn't be easier!!! I read where some suggest the dispenser be placed in the frig if the water will be sitting in the reservoir for a few days, in my experience thus far, my dogs and I go through a pitcher a day so that's not a big deal and not wanting to give up any space inside the fridge, having this sit out on the counter works for us. I was also concerned with the appearance but I'm pleasantly surprised, how obtrusive it is. The cost to replace the filters at around 3 months seems very reasonable, too. So, for me, time will tell if it continues to be this easy and effective a water filtering process - I am glad I went this route and pleased with the taste - just clean and refreshing. As an aside; I noticed that any spillage from my dog's water bowls no longer leaves white traces on the dark tray like the filtered frig water I had been giving them from the other home I was living in.

Not everyone can afford total filtration systems, but most people can afford this perfect water dispenser. It is sleek enough in design to fit in any refrigerator without your having to stop buying food items. It's filter and smart indicator makes it easy to know when it needs changing. The bonus is having a company (Waterdrop) that has a super customer service division (props to Becky for her assistance in solving a small issue)! Water tastes clean; total value for price; instructions you can understand; all around quality of this product is 5 stars!

Water tastes good. Big tank. Durability is an eh. When washing the entire system before swapping the filter, the reservoir took some contact and the plastic on the back of it broke exactly where the "Waterdrop" logo is. Now the reservoir cant be filled to the top without unfiltered water leaking through. Can't seem to find a replacement part for it either so 🤷

We ordered this dispenser to try to increase our water intake, even though we have fairly decent county water. Every once in a while I would taste mineral or iron or smell chlorine from our tap water, but it would eventually clear out and I've had a lot worse. This dispenser had helped increase our water intake because it is nice to have fresh cold water, especially in the hot southern summers. I don't have the chlorine smell or yucky mineral taste. We can easily refill water bottles to grab and go. I haven't noticed much difference with the alkaline benefits claimed by influencers, but it's also not any worse. I don't have anything to compare it to. The design and size is perfect for our refrigerator and two of us using it. We fill it about every 2 days. It is easy to lift with the built in side handles to restore it to the fridge after filling it. The biggest issue we have had is the filter clogging up and needing to flush and shake around the internal filters to balance it out so we can resume using it before time to replace it. Usually happens two or three weeks before time to replace the filter. We do get about 2 months from a filter. The indicator does not flash on it's own to tell you it's time to replace it. You have to press it occasionally (we do when we fill it) to check the status. Blue means good to go, flashing red means you have about 10 days before replacing your filter. Solid red means time to replace. I also make a note when it's time to replace it. We get the 3 pack of replacement filters auto shipped. Best value and small enough to store in pantry until needed. I probably would have rated it 4 stars, but the customer service has been excellent. The indicator light quit working a year later, so I contacted them through the link on Amazon. Filled out the form with required information, and they responded via email in less than 24 hours. Harper was attentive, professional, respectful, and demonstrated what excellent customer service should be. It seems so rare these days. Harper always followed up to my questions and addressed my issue. Delivery of new system was so fast. This pushed my review to 5 stars. Customer Service is essential to customer retention. I hope everyone has the same great experience I did. One day I think I'm going to try the new electric systems. I wish I could do the whole house reverse osmosis system.

I have been happy with Waterdrop pitchers and filters. The products work well, and the water tastes clean without any noticeable issues. ( I especially like the alkaline filters as it helps make the water taste close to what I like.) The filters remain a good price for what you get, and the pitcher itself feels sturdy and easy to use. Replacing the filters is very simple. Overall, the quality has been consistent, which is something I appreciate. Their customer service also went above and beyond when I had a faulty filter indicator. I reached out, and they handled it quickly and replaced the part without any hassle. It was a smooth process, and they kept communication clear the entire time. That kind of support makes a huge difference and adds to the overall experience. Overall, I think they offer a solid product with reliable performance, and their customer service really stands out.

I love this water dispenser! I can smell the chlorine when running water from my faucet. It tastes a bit metallic as well. There's no telling what else may be in my city's water. When I use my waterdrop dispenser, I immediately have fresh smelling, great tasting water. My water is smooth, softer, tastes great and has the added benefit of alkaline. It is light in weight and fits compactly in my refrigerator. The filter drains well/quickly. I only wish I had a larger dispenser. I recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for Waterdrop!

Super Wasserfilter mit großem Volumen! Ich habe den Wasserfilter von Waterdrop nun schon länger und bin voll zufrieden. Ich habe mich für dieses Produkt wegen des großen Fassungsvermögens und des schnellen Wasserdurchlaufs entschieden. Bei manchen Wasserfiltern dauert der Filterprozess ewig und beim Waterdrop laufen mehrere Liter Wasser in ein paar Minuten durch den Filter. Da wir einen Sodastream haben und oft viel Besuch brauche ich gerade im Sommer einfach recht viel Wasser in kurzer Zeit, damit ich immer 5 oder 6 Flaschen Wasser kalt gestellt und griffbereit habe und jederzeit nachfüllen kann. Auch die Folgekosten für die Filter sind gering. Ich habe ein Dauerabo für 3 Filter alle 6 Monate und ich habe immer noch mindestens einen übrig, wenn die Lieferung kommt. Wir sind super zufrieden mit der Entscheidung, vielen Dank!

This system is terrible - we've had it for a month and when testing the water it barely makes a difference AND the filter is constantly getting clogged! We have to take out, rinse, shake/smash the filter almost every fill because it simply stops allowing water to pass through it - this is already irritating, but the SUPER slow filter rate aside makes it even worse.
