I am being weaned off my NHS splint for mallet fingers on my little finger. I no longer have it being taped and I had a very small splint about the size of a thumb nail. Twice the splint has fallen off without me noticing and I have not been able to find it as it was so small and light Despite even though with the second splint I had a very small elastic band around it. So I was looking for something that if it does fall off I will feel it coming off and more importantly be able to find it. The splint is very bulky and has fallen off but I can feel it coming off and more importantly find it. The best thing about is It is very comfortable and has a sponge at the top and bottom and my finger is already not as red as it was.The only thing I would say is it says it’s suitable for adults and children but I am an adult woman and the smallest one is the whole length of my little finger.

I have been using the thumb splint for a few weeks as have been experiencing pain in the joint and wanted to immobilise the digit. Works as expected. Pretty comfy. Velcro isn't the best, doesn't hold very securely.Try to limit how wide you open the splint to insert your finger or thimb, as its made from aluminium it will split if bent repeatedly. Also don't leave it in a pocket or anywhere else it is liable to get squished, again as it is aluminium it will deform (crush fairly easily).Works well if you are aware of the limitations of the metal.

Suffering a trigger finger on my pinky.Easy to find one that fits the affected finger, easy to custom fit and remove when needed, ie when washing hands etc.It stopped my finger from curling wheel still using my hand and allowed the sleeve over the ligament to fully recover.It will get grubby and is easy to clean.Putting this one stopped the painful times I accidentally gripped something and my little finger got stuck on the ligament sleeve.Downside is it can dig into the base of the finger if you don't pick the right size. Easily avoided.

Ideal. Fit well with comfortable padding and easy to fasten Velcro. Light and good to wear. Splint the finger, stopping it from bending.

Well padded , velcro works ..but..the end near hand metal is actually rather sharp . Would need covering I think, sadly didn't use them .

These are great .. been wearing mine for 2 days and my finger already feels much better

Purchased for my small 'pinky' finger as I have trigger finger. Completely useless. The item is too short for starters, keeps slipping off (very easily) as the wrap around strap is all but hopeless, it doesnt keep it in place on my finger. The next size up is too long, so no good. Overall a waste of money.
